Mayor Explains Why He Will Never Camp Out for Sneakers

i don't know what a camp out is now i would never in my life get online for a pair of shoes nah i put too much into this game call that the talking again you know what i'm saying i no hell no and i'm never going to install a bot on my computer to win a raffle and the day that i did the day that these shoe stores stop holding me down i try to get them somewhere else i'll go build another relationship and if that doesn't work i don't get the shoe it's a strong possibility i'm not gonna get this lebron championship pack that comes out next week i'm okay with it if i get it plus i've made my phone calls i've been on the phone with unknown i've been on the phone with other people that i know are getting it i'm like hey and i'm honest my phone call is yo this is mayor i ain't beating around the bush you know what i'm calling for call me back if i get a nine nine and a half so i got this bag coming out and uh it's not it's an idea that i was sitting on for about six years and i went to the flood i went to the flood uh shout out to flood watches i went to the flood office for me and my man doug ceo flood he called me one day was a yo mayor you have an insane watch collection which is another thing that i love i love watches he was like yo you want to design a watch for flood you know we could do something to be cool it'd be a nice little thing you know what i'm saying i'm like alright you know let mayor consultants do some work and get a check no problem so i go there to do the back to do the watch and we're going over watches and i look to my left yeah you do bags he's like yeah we got a nice bag live we got a nice spring book bag libra i was like yo i've been sitting in this idea for six years he's like really i'm like six years b and he's like what is it i was like well i'm gonna try to draw it out for you and i'm not an artist so i drew it i'll sketch it out a little bit and his response was oh he brought his partner melon man i seen it i was like oh was like yo let's do this and he was like yo let's do it and and it's funny because that's the way i work man we just shook hands and they came back with samples in five weeks man and the sample came back cool we worked on it again we worked on it again and and like their enthusiasm was just as strong as mine so it's making it work more and according to the numbers i got like 2200 bags pre-sold already we debuted that magic and and it's coming out either august 15th august 30th i'm not sure yet i'll know in a couple days what's the retail it's going to be 75 to 80 and the bag is dope i got it right here like this is not the one that's coming out now this is actually holiday one but i have regular denim coming out regular camo and you know bag is a regular you know regular carry-on bag we put a horse a horse collar zipper on it a horseshoe zipper and it has me and print inserts and you insert your shoes in it and you close them back up you put it in like like you put it in just like you put a pair of shoes in you know just like you would put pair of shoes in the box one way the other way you could put it to a size 14 in there you put them in there just like a pair of shoes like you would put a pair of shoes in the box zipper it up do the same thing you put all three pan there put your clothes on top couple pair of jeans couple pair of shirts it's the perfect carry-on bag on the plane pu it's got the whole pu on it's got shoulder strap i think it's a sick invention flood watches times maya available end of august second week august and august i think it's something that everybody's gonna love and enjoy and the fact that it was received so well i know right now that foot action picked up the bag sort of been a lot of foot actions across the country which is a blessing for me and a blessing i'm glad that i was able to put something into this game i'm not done yet because like i said i got another one coming it's gonna be crazy but uh you know this is my first real project in all the years that i've been in this game this is my first real project and i'm very proud of it and i stand by 100 and i think it's gonna be dope think maybe he saved up a little money to connect he actually made up this whole story about he how he had a friend who had a story who had connect and i go upstairs and i'm like hey where am i at and i look and i'm looking at the shows and i don't see him but i have so many sneakers i'm thinking oh i must have put him somewhere else why do i feel rappers sneakers come and go i think because they're fans of the consumer you know when you're fans of the consumer when your record is hot they're going by when your record is not hot they're not going to buy it [Music]
