what what are we doing today how would you describe this succinctly we're going to trick mac with a fake taxi right okay the most annoying ride of his life yeah before you get going then i'll pop these away for you thank you so much you're more than welcome hello steve here today we are picking up potential future world champion max verstappen at an airport and he is going to have a nightmarish journey with a very annoying taxi driver named ray davis aka me so i'm going to be transformed into rey with the wonderful bonnie who's here you might uh might know her brother billy this is bonnie manga uh makeup artist to the stars and me today um but uh here we go you know i'll tuck my quip away all over it are you davis spider to his friends no then i've got to raise your eyes hello max how you doing love it's basically channeling my my stepdad who is a taxi driver [Music] i don't like being on camera okay so we're using gopros today latest one hero9 but hidden within covert speakers we also have covert hidden camera tissue box as well easy way of hiding a camera just a bit of nd film on the front this is probably not where it's going to go but uh to start so we'll probably hide maybe three or four cameras in the back here up on the edge of the uh divide here max sits in the back hopefully we should be able to direct him to sit in one particular seat and then we'll probably stick a couple up the front as well to see to see steve in action as well basically i'm going to kind of follow dan's cameras so wherever he's got a camera i'm gonna try and hide a microphone but in the front with steve uh we're just gonna trying to cover both options because he's obviously gonna do a lot of speaking forward but he's also gonna turn and speak to max i'm gonna have my i'm gonna have steve on a personal mic as well um but this will just give me plenty of scope to for when he's turning and sort of talking over his shoulder and obviously we can hide this with they used to say that maybe yeah and i uh it never happened for me i never you know i never had the opportunity but uh oh it must be an hell of a life max hell of a life yeah it's i mean it was always my hobby like racing so to be able to do to drive formula one is i tell you what it's more than an ob for you now isn't it i mean you're good you're the best in the world fantastic you are driving although you know let me say this oh max you are fantastic there's some fantastic drivers there but it's it's not what it was is there there's a lot of there are very rich little privileged boys driving around and sometimes they feel like you know i miss i miss the characters you know yandell city case yeah you're nigel mansells he was a character wasn't he yeah do you know what i mean buddy but at some point you're gonna have to pull over and go for a quick wee but sorry like bladders just i had like three cups of coffee waiting for you for my flask in the booth and i'm absolutely driving i wasn't a fan of his i always thought he was quite cocky a little bit arrogant you know but when he came in the car and i tell you what what do you see that jaw in the flesh max yeah like the back of an articulated lorry it was amazing just to see that jaw obviously it's not what it was he's fading a bit in recent years but my point is when he was in the cab he was perfectly nice we got like a no sunfire yeah do you know him at all yeah yeah he's very nice i know he also lives in monaco he's a wonderful i thought he lived in scotland i mean oh there's a scotland in monaco yeah splits his tight yeah so what he used to be a pretty good pretty good driver yeah absolutely but then again what about that big crash in spa yeah that was so dangerous that was a very big one yeah i tell you what if i was michael schumacher i would have knocked his bloody head off as well that's the thing see max is it it doesn't cost a thing to be lovely yeah you know in the future because this will be a special story for me i can tell people i met you know future world champion max estaban and i'll tell them you know i got him lost i needed to pee and he was still lovely he didn't shout at me he didn't call me a bloody idiot or anything like that he was lovely and that story was that story will stay with me forever max and if you wanted to tell people you met ray davis the taxi driver yeah you could if you wanted to perfect what would you tell them about i would say well i've actually never been in a black cab outside of london so this is also a new uh experience oh that's fantastic and i get to be part of that experience yeah and that's the wonder of life isn't it you know it's about experiences exactly but what an experience it must be to drive a formula one car maybe that's what do they go now but 150 miles an hour close to like 200 i think 200 yeah yeah max that is way too fast to be going in a car that is crazy that is uh luckily we do it on the racetrack so it's safer that's true it's only one-way traffic isn't it yeah would you want to race with two-way traffic well they're too dangerous yeah you're probably right yeah yeah yeah almost there no wax yeah it's here we have to go left and it's almost straight first left here okay much plan for the day max no filming day what does that entail though uh just recording stuff for sponsors and do you do all those tv interviews as well they seem like a bloody pain yeah oh well do you like talking to all those people get on my nerves asking me questions all the time yeah but i mean it's all about talking about racing you know so yeah that's true i mean you know it's pretty straightforward yeah that's your style isn't it because i see you on the on the tv there and you always is straight down the line i remember it monocle somebody asked you what would written in the monaco grand prix to you when you said 25 points and i laughed my wife she laughed as well i thought that straight down the line that is that's max the stafford seems like a nice chat i like him yeah he's a great guy great person great driver perfect combination yeah what's your favorite thing about him he's just a normal guy it's easy perfect perfect man straight over if i don't know maybe i should get a sat nav after all max yeah it's just difficult to find a little bit tricky look at that i call you there max see one piece ever tax experience so am i allowed to say we got you oh yeah you did you did it big time jesus you were so patient i got lost you're totally cool with it mate you you you keep you went in circles yeah it didn't man that was so great and i knew immediately i thought if he's going to get it you'll get at the start and i started saying the voice and i could see in the mirror he doesn't know we're good to go yeah oh man that was so great jesus can i help you with your stuff finish i'm going to kill you i'm so sorry your messages are amazing oh man that was perfect that was perfect i don't think
