nominees for Best Actress in a play are Diana Rigg and Abelard and Eloise Maureen Stapleton in the gingerbread lady Estelle Parsons in and miss Reardon drinks little there in Sully's in father's day and the winner is Maureen Stapleton Oh thank you very much I wasn't that good you think you've been here a long time well I start thanking people I'll try to keep it short I'll start with my family and my loved ones and the people in shawnee York and the people in New York City now that's an hour and a half and Neil Simon for a beautiful play and a great part and a great company and a wonderful cast and the family of the theater which always exists before us now and after they are my family I wanted to spend my old age was my family I didn't know would be all in one evening but I've had a wonderful time and I thank you and I love it and would it be a lot of trouble to do it again
