I was 17 in the ninth grade quit making fun of me [Applause] I'm gonna tell you what same reason your dumb ass ain't got no license fan page is really cool you make jokes with Rampage and he just makes jokes back at you he doesn't get mad at all he's just straightforward nice guy you know he just likes to fight which is cool he's fighting tomorrow I can't tell you you can't tell us if I tell you I have to kill you are mentally impossible to happen unless you have to die and I was tied down Dante is a character and I don't know I just bust his balls and he bust my balls it's it's fun keep it up man you're gonna find that soon enough for me to bust your ass [Music] Riddle's always winning his ball like who knows what he's talking about half the time and he's pretty sarcastic so I like like to break up break his chops whatever you know you're a child I say it on camera if you ever beat me I'd retire and get your shoes bronze the uh riddle and Dante showing at this point I don't think it's like anything huge but it's kind of one of those underlying issues that's bubbling up you know and I think uh give it a little more time it'll be something serious I will hurt you guaranteed bro yeah pick me and see baby kick me and see this house is way too much fun or I want to [ __ ] fight I just want to fight who anybody I just wanna right now it doesn't matter I just want to get in there and whoop somebody's ass and the way the other team's talking every time I'm like well you guys gonna pick me like I really want you guys to pick me soon and they're like whoa uh you know like I know doctor doesn't want to play man but Tim doesn't want to fight out of a brown though and then I can knock them out I've been talking I've been like I just want to fight get it over with and I wasn't expecting getting paid because I didn't know they're gonna try knocking off for a week or guys first or our stronger guys first most the time I don't take a pen we went down I will retire if you beat me that's bold I think Dante you know he's a little overconfident and just like it when he like tells me he would run through me and like Pat me out or like knock me out in 30 seconds and it's like I don't think so old man it's like personally don't think what would happen if I did is I'd punch you in the face a couple times take it down ground and pound you just punch you in the face again kick you unless I knock you out yeah would I like to fight Dante yeah he's got a big record he's been around for a long time if I beat him it'd be really good for my resume but we'll see how that all pans out by the end of the show [Music] enforced is chosen for Tim Curry to fight Matthew Riddle [Applause] some approached me and thought that him and Matt riddle would be a good fight and uh you know I have no problems with it obviously Real's a tough kid heavy hands you know he poses some threats to us but Tim's one of our better guys and I think he can take him he does too that's the important thing all right weigh-ins are tomorrow fights will be the following day oh boys [Applause] [Music] I personally thought I was going to be fighting Dante I had my eye on him I think they think Tim's a better matchup for me than Dante so I think it's a compliment if anything and I'm glad I'm fighting second if you're wondering because I just want to get that little win on me and just take a break and then fight again [Music] I know I am we need this no pressures no pressure no pressure against Tim crater we can win this one if if chipper go out there and fight the uh the jitsu guy dance similar and broke his jaw in two places so I think the kids riding on a lot of confidence and I think the kids kind of living on the dream I don't think that kid's ready for me he hasn't fought the guys I've fought he hasn't been In the Heat of the battles that I've been in at kids a little new to the sport I'm a fighter and I'm gonna beat those dreams right out of you [Music] in people's heads all you can do is sign your check over to me as soon as you lose do you hear this you're not getting this guy's butt I know you're ready you got positive confidence you're not overconfident I'm fighting Tim credor team Forest pretty excited put your hands are good my strength's going into this fight are definitely a powerful right hand my takedown ability and my submission defense and then take them down grind them out and win the fight that's what I think it's gonna actually I know that's gonna happen hopefully this is the last practice today 30 seconds win the fight know Matt riddle is a big kid he's a young strong kid but he doesn't have a lot of experience 183. hey crater is very experienced this kid's got like 15 fights he's trained with all these great guys he's only lost to two really good guys I'm an 86. I'm 87. oh you got tickets so it's going to be interesting to see this young aggressive strong kid with only two fights against the guy with a ton of experience with 15 fights yeah I want to look at me I had to weigh-ins he's trying to talk usually people that talk like that are scary told me I wasn't going to be smiling after the fight it wasn't being really nice but at the same time he's been around the sport for a long time and I think that's what he has to do to get himself pumped up for a fight [Music] Tim was kind of serious at the weigh-ins this is like look at my eyes and it hurts you I'm like Jesus Tim chill him was like trying to get in my head it doesn't bother me not one bit because Tim has a lot to lose from this fight relax don't make me look into your eyes bikini bro me if I lose the fight I have time he doesn't have time like I have time he's on his way out he's only got like maybe five years left in this four I got at least 10 15 years I'm going to bed so there's a lot of pressure on Tim oh that's that's classic what's up under my name people wrote like on the request list driver's license and a picture of my mom I won't go as far as saying mama's boy but my mom takes care of me she drives me around I love my mom if I could be a kid my whole life but I can't I gotta grow up one day you gotta turn into a different kind of human overnight [Music] and I don't think that's humanly possible I just see the fight going a lot my way and I see riddle getting hurt a lot right they made a mistake show the world so we're we're big screw-ups they are show the world that they made a big mistake nothing personal about this it's business I want that money I gotta beat him to get there that's what I'm gonna do he knows that I know that and that's what's gonna happen oh dear Rampage got us it's all good nice if you don't have it you don't have it you'll ask your assistant this kid's 22 years old I'm 30. I'm pretty stoked I kind of feel like I won this is what you do don't defend the arm bar and you get an Xbox Jeremy you said some old comments he's like oh you didn't defend your arm boy you know when you go to an Xbox 360 and like made a joke about it and everybody in the whole van was just like what the [ __ ] like why would you like why would you say that to somebody [Music] [Music] yeah later that night you could tell there's definitely a wild energy in here everyone's kind of revved up from go-karting they're having fun foreign things got crazy that night your friend's going down Gerald started with dunking of the basketball goal game time son so uh I took the basketball goal along with the person who broke it CB s yeah and threw it over the rail that sparked a chain of events [Music] [Music] thank you we didn't do it walls got destroyed banisters got destroyed Windows got destroyed things got a little out of hand so fast destroyed the whole house looks like World War III went on in there but you know we needed it [Music] you try staying in the house with 15 other cage fighters and try not breaking some sorry Mom Dad had to do it it's kind of roomy in here now it's nice it's okay afterwards I felt great like there was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders you know got a lot of aggression out and now I'm ready ready to fight again [Music] [Applause] coming up next it's our first fight of the night as Matt riddle faces Dante Rivera who has said before if riddle defeats him this could very well be his last fight that was pretty much a bold statement saying I'll retire if he beats me man that's just my way of saying that uh I don't think there's no possible way he can beat me I got a present for him I got a retirement plaque from right after the fight so uh tonight I'm gonna give it to him after I knock him out probably in the first or second round middleweights Dante River of their sin on The Ultimate Fighter tonight that all comes to an end when these two up-and-comers settle the score he says stuff he's not supposed to say once in a while now man calling me all a little bit unintended to like that too much but I think I should have respect for people who's for finding way longer than he has he knows I'm a tough kid and he's not gonna be ready to handle what I got I'm actually at a real camp now and I'm gonna smash him 22 year old Matthew Riddle has stunned many observers with his rapid rise of the MMA ranks already a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu riddle is nonetheless best remembered for scoring one of the most devastating Knockouts in The Ultimate Fighter history over Dan simler tonight he looks to repeat the feat against Dante Rivera I'm just gonna overwhelm him he's not gonna know what to do with me he's not gonna be able to do anything with me and that's the problem and he's gonna guess he's gonna have his mouth open I'm gonna try to break his jaw [Music] Dante Rivera 11 years his Elder Matt riddle will have a significant reach Advantage Arizona Matt [Music] riddles Dante no no disguise in what he wants to do he wants to get the clinch and take this fight to the ground well Dante reverses he's a much different fighter than he was since the show when he was eliminated by the ousted Jesse Taylor riddle though was very tough I mean you look back at that fight for Matt riddle against Tim crater and even though he lost I mean he hung in there he showed some good offense Dante's got his head here Riddle's got to be very careful here you know a lot of guys you get used to someone holding onto your head and hold on to your neck and then you get a guy like Dante grabs him hold it then you go oh okay this is a problem all right he's free you know indeed his strength is his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Rivera a little really push fight scheduled for three five minute rounds knee by riddle to the chin you're doing a good job this is only 22 but he's very strong nice loss of the leg too [Applause] here we go oh big big swinging left Hands by Dante Rivera team forest riddle team Rampage waved it off that knee was a little low unintentional now he's better now he got the midsection both guys trying to use the knees here and uh you know Dante just tried to take him down there and oh big knee by Dante right when we say that by Dante fakes the shot and again caught him in the same spot a couple of good leg kicks by Dante Rivera riddle none phased by it 20 seconds remains in round one Riddle's got a body lock and he takes Dante down and we step away good round one between Matt riddle and Dante Rivera here we go round two oh you know Rivera trying to come over the top each time with that big left Joe Riddle's taking him down again they really didn't hate each other during the show Joe it just gotta it got a little interesting when the comments came back and forth well nobody likes being called Old it's inevitable that you're gonna have these guys involved in conflict and there's all those animals living in the house together [Applause] but riddle is not phased Dante's going off now the oppressor here riddle really hits mature riddle got him up against the cage again I mean Dante is unable to do anything here good knee but these the the strikes are kind of a last resort what he wanted to do there was taken down like little was just too strong there's that big over the top left hand again every time and he caught him a little bit griddles on top riddle has a mounted this is bad he's gonna press Dante Up Against the Cage Dante's in some serious serious trouble here Matt riddle oh he looks nice but that's a mistake he looked for the armbar and now he finds himself on his back look at this though but can he do it anyway trying to finish it finish in seconds remains in the round Dante is trying very hard to pull that right arm back and he's got it back but he's trapped riddle pounding away we're headed to round three wow that's his kid Matt riddle called him chipper on the show because he was always so happy third and final round in front of his coach Quentin Rampage Jackson very impressive Matt riddle and Dante just has no answers unable to take him down at all and riddle right now is really working sneeze the body I mean this kid's got a really bright future 22 years old he's got Dante up and down big elbow by riddle and riddles off his feet plenty of time Dante's pushing and he knows he's behind in this fight here Dante is going to take a page out of riddles book and start blasting those elbows [Applause] and knees to the legs and now he's down of his mixed martial arts career because this would be the first professional win of his MMA career herb d stand him up less than a minute ago Dante's got to do something drastic he tried to came in with the left again [Applause] Riddle's got a hold of a leg he's gonna try to pull Dante to the ground Dante's gonna try to roll into a Kimora but riddle takes his back and he's in a good position he was already winning the fight in my opinion but we know we got to be careful oh he's pounding him now the fight goes [Applause] wow obviously Matt riddle wanted to win by submission he went after a couple of submissions Dante Rivera was able to avoid but in the end Matt riddle showed a very well versed game he utilized the knees he was the stronger man in the clinch position and then to his specialty a little ground in pound to secure what should be a decision Victory with the official decision here's Bruce Buffer ladies and gentlemen after three rounds of action we go to the judges scorecards for decision Al left with scores the contest 30-27 Tony weeks has it 30 27 and Cecil people scores the belt 29 and 28 declaring the winner by unanimous decision [Applause] I personally I was just going for I didn't know if I was going to get in he defended it perfectly and right there just dropped an elbow that's pretty I love you Mom [Applause] bad little ladies and gentlemen yeah he certainly is Chipper and he's a Victor here tonight
