When they first releases Blue Lines they released it under the name Massive. As kind of a anti first Gulf War thing at the time
Anyone that doesnt know this band, Blue Lines and Mezzanine. Utterly magnificent classic albums 👍

This gives me the chills whenever I listen to it. Painfully gorgeous. Love Massive Attack and Shara Nelson's got a powerful voice. Also a lot of people may not know that this video inspired the one for Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve. It's the same director if I'm not mistaken
The line in neneh cherry - Buffalo Stance "the Wild bunch" ended up forming massive attack.
