Shang-Chi was never my favourite character but it was always great seeing him pop up in books. This looks like it could be fun and a nice mix of street level stuff with the more fantastical aspects of Marvel.
It's too bad Marvel isn't in a hurry to bring back their Netflix characters because it would have been great to see Shang Chi alongside Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Misty Knight, and Colleen Wing.

A weird sort of joy, but, despite being a massive comics nerd, I've never read any Shang-Chi, so this is all TOTALLY NEW AND INTERESTING. It is actually kind of cool to see an MCU clip and not have a part of my mind being like 'yes, but Batroc's origin story was...'. Instead: ass-kicking, hijinks, and ...bears? I'm good with that.

I have to admit I was worried about this one, but the trailer looks pretty good! I just really hope they went with more old school martial arts choreography techniques where they do longer takes instead of millions of short edits so you can actually see what people are doing. There is nothing more impressive then watching a martial arts film do an entire long fight without a single take to show how talented the people on camera are.
