married priests I posted a video last week about what I think is the solution to the lack of priests you can watch on YouTube if you're curious and I kept seeing one specific comment people thought that the solution to the vocation crisis was to allow priests to get married look I wanted to get married as much as anyone celibacy was a crazy sacrifice to make but I actually don't think that's the solution to the crisis at all it's like saying we'd probably have more men who want to be Navy Seals if the water where they trained wasn't so cold or saying more men would want to play in the NFL if the other teams didn't hit so hard no the men they want being Navy Seals are the ones who can endure the cold the men coaches want on their teams are the ones who can take the Hits and The Men We want leading our church are the ones who have given up everything
