I think you've become a lot more sensitive Susan Mary attention so some of you might know Jason and I are celebrating our seven-year anniversary what what we made it she made it too so we thought it would be fun to just kind of ask each other some questions if nothing else we're like uh posterity thing to kind of document some things about my marriage relationship so far you start off with some basic questions really quick how did we meet well the first time jenny was stuck in a pothole in wintertime and my roommates and I pushed her car out or your roommates car I don't remember whose car - car friend's car was second a pothole in a way to a girls night and Jason and two of his roommates were very cavalier Kelly is a very word chivalrous shorris not Cavalier that would be the opposite show her as embrasure car so that was how we met it was a very damsel in distress situation yes which worked out I don't like being the damsel in distress but I also couldn't push but darn Carl who said I love you first me obviously just kidding it was Jenny I wasn't he said it first what no you said it and then you got mad because I didn't say it for a while no I set you up for it because I realized and yeah no totally I really wanted Jason to be to say it to me first and so I think I basically like flat-out said why haven't you told you cannot keep it I haven't that I hadn't said it to him but I think I just like straight-up asked you why have you told me you love me and then like three weeks later as we're separating to go to diverse two families for Christmas Jason handed me a card like through the window of his car that says I love you and that was the first time that he says that I thought he loves me pretty sure I said it right back who initiated the first kiss chedi I did I was trying to be chivalrous again Jason was taking we've been dating for a month she's been dating what I felt like was a very long time and I was throwing myself edgy I'm here yeah yeah I know it's a long time starting myself at Jason and finally got him to kiss me do you remember where our first kiss was at your apartment pretty amazing where were you when you knew you wanted to get married I think it was on that McCall trip we went to a trip in McCall with my family there's a first time Jenny had met all of my family members and I just did a lot I left I loved how well Jenna got along with my family and how much my nieces and nephews liked her and could tell she'd be a good mom I don't know I think that was what I was like I could see myself marrying this person I knew that I wanted to marry you on that McCall trip his sweet little neat Sierra made her wish and a wishing well with a little coin that Jason and I would get married and she came and told me about it all cute Shia like and I was like I want to marry him in a second like a stark realization like I want to marry him what is your favorite thing that has changed about your spouse since you've been married I got a lot better ping pong you are selfless before I think you always thought of others before but I think even more so now you put the needs of others before your own which I always admire and I think it's grown even more with Alison I think you've become a lot more sensitive stuff since you've been married I feel it has made you a little bit more sensitive and I like it what is something you're really glad is staying the same about your spouse your sassiness sometimes myself eNOS is favorite thing is we just make everything just has their double-edged sword it has stayed the same I'm going to go with your sense of humor you always tease me laugh what has brought you closer to your spouse this year I think moving because it was a heads up dick process and I could go mean trying to figure out what home we want what would be best for our family all the work involved you cleaning out that basement that one weekend I never know if there's a lot of work and time spent together and thought and prayer and stuff no I completely agree I would say it I would actually say me going back to work maybe that was last year just a year ago so I was thinking the calendar year 2007 teen that's are thinking of within a 12 month period coaching we just was going back to work after Alice's aneurysm it was not the easiest thing on our marriage it's kind of a hard decision but Jason was really supportive and figured out a way for us to make it work to do Alice's therapy schedule done and for both of us to pursue our careers and I feel like that brought us closer together what is your favorite memories with your spouse's past year the beach is really fun but all-time favorite let's see it's hard for me to think of what we've done this year what wasn't last year I know what I'm kind of just runs together I really like getting the past Thanksgiving Point has been a lot of fun and I feel like going shopping even for like house stuff like even like the washer and dryer and things it's fun to like fill a house our old house we just kept all the old Jack so it's been nice to like actually get things that I'm like this is new and it's ours very frugal he's a lot of yummy domes my favorite memory is Christmas Jason and I were so excited it was Alice's first Christmas outside the hospital we maybe went a little overboard I like a lot we got Alex her red wagon which seeing her reaction to that lift that was really great I really am supposed to like that was so magical she had just started walking we were with family it was just is really nice anything shocking you've learned about your spouse since we've been married I guess for me Jason's toenails grow in an alarming rate you could like ship somebody with it and usually cut them all the time I think I cut my toenails like once a month I think I just shocking to me how strong Jenni is for someone so small [Music] they're not not no that's the thing is they're really well cancers they just grow really fabulous it's crazy what is the sunniest bite you never have I have a big problem with littering oh yeah and I would promise people who litter and when Jason and I it is a senora Damian my Jason and I Jason took me to lunch and we were walking into this Hill and you taken a toothpick from the restaurant and after he was done with it he like threw it onto the hillside shove a bark under the bark represented and I I like freaked out I went on this whole tangent about littering and say keeping the planet clean and really like I'm out of my mind because I just put wood with my fish back to its habitat yeah it was that's probably but I like I really overreacted you'll find out most of our funny fights are because I really hope you practice about something smaller than Jason to new perspectives but that I think is my funniest fight in my memory go do you have a different one no I think that was it if you could this might be the same before but if you could relive any day from the past year what would it be I mean the beach I'd love to have another day because I didn't get very long at the beach compared to Jenni and Alice I'd love to do another day there and I would have loved another when my nieces and nephews came down another day would have been really nice because we'd like to read jam-packed each day with as much stuff as we could but I felt like one more day would have been really fun angry I also would have done Jason and I went on our first like mini family vacation just for I think a day we were up in Park City and it was the first time that we've ever gone anywhere with just the three of us agree that's really nice I really liked it I had a lot of fun what is your favorite book you've read this past year that's one sure Jake you talked about this book all the time it's open by Andre Agassi I love tennis growing up but it's not it's more about than just about tennis it's the best sports autobiography by far and even if you're not a sports fan it's just like in fact it might even be more entertaining you know sports fan but it's just so well written and so like honest and open but um Shh I can't pick one I read a lot of great books I'll take a series Elena Ferrante is my brilliant friend series is one of the most beautiful books but just series of books that I've ever read and it's historical fiction which is I think my favorite is on repose but just really beautifully written really drives home some really powerful points and yeah it's just lovely highly recommended what is the most romantic thing you can remember doing for your spouse or maybe you could say was the most romantic thing I've done for you and I'll say what you've done for me that would make more sense I actually think well that when I had got a Boise to do a show when Jenny stayed home and cleaned out the basement all by ourselves because we even took I even took Alice and it took like seven loads in the car she spent probably 18 hours and one day just working on making it and like without that we wouldn't have been able to get the house ready because we're putting on for sale on Monday and so we literally like couldn't have done it without her so I thought and and I know she want to go to Boise and it wasn't really fun so it's nice pretty sacrifice and stage work Jason's not like a huge like grand gesture like what most people might find super romantic I don't mean this is like a negative thing but it's not like I like wake up shower with pedals or anything but I think that the most romantic thing that you do is because I'm a straight-up crazy person as you can tell by my freaking out about the toothpick and I'm stuck open to the bark but I can crazy a lot I even like woke up the other night at like 3:00 a.m. when Jason came home super late from filming like screaming and thinking that somebody was in the house anyways Jason it's just super calm and really patient and he loves me even when I'm at like my ten crazy look which is pretty romantic last question what is the goal you have for this next year when I keep saying to learn it to play the guitar but I really want to do that I also want to get more into art now that we have more space in our house like a garage of Jenny laughs and I think because she thinks that it's not about the space I told you could do it he wants to convert part of the garage into an art studio I say that he can do it I want you to start doing art things before we make the community mural downstairs for college he's going to make a super cute little house he's going to turn the cupboard under the shirt into a little house which i think is gonna be super cute one of my goals for this year I would like to read the Bible in its entirety which I've actually never done maybe if we have another baby it's been a long time since we've had one okay we can make one of those thanks for hanging out of this yep in a good seven years for those I love you here's another seven and we'll reevaluate you [Music]
