Mario Kart Wii 150cc KNOCKOUT Tournament

150cc knockout tournament it's kind of funny how we did the 200cc one and the item rate knockout tournament before the 150cc but i'm excited i think this will be great we have a good group and this will go until I get eliminated or I and the last one standing good luck to everyone participating let's do this what a scary track to start the Sun I would love about you just front on this whole race and have 15 points I would feel so safe I had 15 points after the first race I was a little bit scary interesting shock that's a really really early shock on the Ouija circuit that's like that's weird all right all right oh I thought that was a red shawl I didn't go for that mushroom because I thought it was red okay he had a second place room I will take that any day of the week the most peaceful Luigi circuit race ever if only every Luigi circuit race went that well blue mementos I'm feeling very content with that second place 12 points honestly if I got like last the next three races there's even a chance I'd still move on granted let's not get last the next three races but you get my point triple Red's that's not good okay Oh Yoshi dolphin - player dodged I'm really curious one mushroom is not very good there's a blue shell [Applause] [Music] fourth hahahaha the side-box is the strike because if you pull a golden urn triples then you could take the shortcut and cut the last turn really really tight Oh II went for that box that's weird oh dude I'm an idiot oh well good thing I'm being an idiot now not later who got boxes open to me oh I should have hit that one second leader I could have potentially got the shock I don't I think it the shock now that's still really good that is awesome we're gonna hold this for a little bit maybe he gets it right here okay so he didn't get it maybe I'll get a mushroom I know box I've noticed the the early shocks coming out in this room because it seems like people are spamming them that's why I was going for the more like the less obvious shock when there's lower VR people in the room there's a lot there's the shocks are a lot earlier then when it's all like hi BR people so there's some 7,000 players in the room right now so I was like oh that's really bad Wow I got target shocked in like one of the worst spots okay that's fine all right one guy is really far behind over there I wonder what happened to him dude okay so it really comes down to three people here crippled Doodle and Kyle two of you guys are getting to get eliminated most likely we are 100% safe because there's no way everybody except two people can get to plus 24 points with the current standings we're chillin guys which one Oh okay he's got the TC but it looks like he's not stopping he's going for the guy in front of him which is good for us I'm gonna try to get past this guy for greens [Music] hmm okay I'm in third right now the fourth gonna not get squished by that again uh I got to play a lot more defensive I have to remember that every single person is gonna be going for me in this I'm definitely getting a little careless oh my god that just happened Wow Wow dude I was trying way too hard to get an item box that bullet dude okay let's see you got out so it was doodle one eight three and kyle seven eight nine getting eliminated I'm sorry guys and we are moving on to gp2 where one person gets eliminated in the shell Cup okay peach Beach let's try to get an early breakaway again that's I'm already getting everything thrown at me the nice thing about this is the Cadillacs don't chase you online oh my god blooper cool I got him nice please keep going forward I keep messing up my throws [Applause] that's so bad guys that is so bad the POW block ruined me I tried to throw the green back to hit the red but just did not work oh no I got bumped into the grass there's a blue shell oh no dude dude this blue oh my god I'm so screwed I saw that happening I was like he's going for me I was like I tried to get out of the way it just didn't happen when I got bumped into the grass laughs three as I was rounding the corner that's what ruined it for me I thought maybe got first if that didn't happen [Music] I have no idea to use this the problem is if anyone sees me who has the shock they're gonna try to target shock me so like I have to worry about that as well I was probably easy here oh yes that is so lucky it's one of those things right like he definitely wasn't able to see where I was I was far enough away from the guy who had the shock all right we're good we should be moving on it changes the dynamic of the race a lot when there's a car player like it it's it actually is like really annoying to play against if you aren't used to it there's very few cartmanez though oh I can't take shortcut that sucks it's okay though at least I still got some points we're definitely moving on now like I think I got fourth so I'll get to up to 23 yeah 23 nice and all it is close no one's safe honestly like look at this right now 12 points is last place but yeah guys will definitely do a cart 150cc knockout tournament but this one is bikes only Mauri Raceway this is one of those tracks where we just kind of dip around dang it I'm gonna get the shock I'm gonna get the shock and I'm gonna hold it into the lap three and it's gonna be glorious I'm probably just gonna chain it to be honest I can pull shock right here no that sucks there goes to start oh I almost I almost got him with that too both boxes hmm I don't like being in seventh maybe I'll pull a star I'm gonna bag even more see if he has the shock he has it yeah yeah haha oh my god I was gonna get a top spot right there like a top 3 spot that was a GG right there okay um who got eliminated oh it is a tie between and toki which means they will do a tiebreaker on Mario circuit to see who gets eliminated whoever finishes below the other person gets eliminated between and togi so both people stay in the room for one more race we've had some weird races to start things off definitely some shaky gameplay I'm just I have to play I've played so fearful these first two GPS I have to start like getting better at dodging things there we go who we got s Toby Matt right here the shock can change everything right now we're in a pretty good spot otherwise Lucia that's huge Wow that bullet actually got them up to first place you don't see that every day No that is so frustrating guys the dude and we are at nine now dude a lot of people are bagging Matt's bagging to interesting do we get the same item we did my really messing this up he's on Wishing Star what a legend what a legend look at him I just so hilarious hahaha dude so funny I know where I'm using this what the heck I'm just going to take the shortcut I'm gonna try to get really far ahead and not have to worry about anything dang it that really sucked man that really sucked I did not know this guy had a bullet bill in like a top spot like that I went inside thinking he would take a little outer a little bit outer line we should be good third is still good third is ten points alright guys so we only got eight points for third so we're actually only at nine right now as long as you don't beam shot Dodge we're moving on that feels good so Stubbs and toki are in the hot seat but Jar modesty galaxies are not out of the clear yet only four of us are gonna move on for sure oh man this is crazy I need to break away here I need to I just want to get like some momentum building up you know I need to start racing a little a little more just quick I'm super slow on my reactions right now I need to shake that quick that sucks this is one of those tracksuit I want to be in first on to you I'm just gonna use this oh my god dude no no [Applause] I waited they're all that's so good I waited there to make sure I got a box I waited like an extra second and now I got a golden oh that's so good guys like we ready moving on but like you know I still want to try my hardest every race oh he flunked he flunked okay we're good dude you can't hit that on 150 Bradley Bradley oh that was hard to watch I think he got eliminated just now because he hit that yeah dude yeah all right let's see how this shook out who are getting eliminated this is one of the scariest cups this is honestly the second scariest Cup in the whole team so Matt is moving on he clinched it I actually got second that GP and Toki and Stubbs are eliminated we're down to seven ladies and gentlemen okay so sherbet land this one I have no idea what to expect every point counts though guys remember that every point counts that's a great pole for me I'm not to be really defensive now I remember I've had some scares on this Cup I remember last time I think it was the item rain tournament I was definitely in a scary spot during this Cup this is some really terrifying cup for knockout tournaments yo this dolphin - sure player is actually going to be a threat on this GP specifically there's two tracks that really benefit the dolphin - er no that's a weird shock spot I would have never used my my mushroom my mega mushroom there I was gonna yeah I know what I'm gonna use this it's kind of just a guessing game on when the shock will get used but I have an idea of when to use this I'm actually just gonna chain it these items were broken dude [Music] my god what was that that was just like one of those things that happens like once every million years in Mario Kart like holy crap I can't react how I normally would react because I have to focus I have to make sure I win this race you can't get too too excited and make a fatal error after holding my excitement over what just happened okay oh star int Omega into mushroom and I needed every bit of that because when I dodge I was not big so I wouldn't have been able to dodge the blue shell and I was like crap I have to use my mushroom ID like I like 0.1 seconds to react to that I actually had good reactions for once thank hi dude anything that happens in a basketball playoff tournament is always way more epic even if it's the same sort of thing happening in a regular game but in comparison because the stakes are so much higher it makes it like so cool you know it makes it like people remember it forever you know like a game-winner in the playoffs is so much more memorable than a game-winner in the regular season it's kind of the same way for like when something like that happens like the shock dodges or the blue shell dodges that happen in one of these they're gonna be way more memorable than and the regular fun rooms we do what am i doing that was the weirdest trick ever sorry Bradley oh we had a green shell on 4th that is weird dude I don't even know what I'm doing right now I'm in a really awkward spot I might just go for first and just see what happens I'm just gonna take over first yaks I could have not much better okay well we're in second we're not even in first yeah okay the dolphin Astra players won this race 100% he just dodged and ready to talk to I don't like my spot at all I get a mushroom it's a good pool remember guys every point matters what how did that even happen that's so stupid that's so stupid the bullet bill actually blew up the cannon okay guys well only one person gets eliminated so it's really good for us that alpha only has one point I was in such a weird spot in shy guy Beach I probably should have wasted my golden hung out on the back and got a power item instead of just trying to golden to the front lap - that was a mistake I mean the flow of the racist didn't didn't help the strategy I used I need one more good race to solidify my position for the next GP oh I got a mushroom no these are still really good items to have you guys really good items I have to use this because I literally got such a bad landing I literally have to use that mushroom that sucks oh I'm so screwed everything went downhill from me right there okay Bradley's got two two greens an eye for an eye dude that was a perfect team there's only seven in the room I'm kind of I think I'm just gonna hold this yeah for sure that was awkward man I think I'll probably chain now perfect all mats to be playing these last races with no stress I wish I got first last week I felt like I got first but just barely finished you probably finished by like one frame got his front wheel over the line I made I messed that up so bad I messed that up so bad that is so ugly I could have been so far ahead right now I'm just so shaky I have not played regular Nintendo 150cc too much lately I've done like one session in the last two weeks I think it's really showing I feel so rusty I'm doing a good job minimap looking and like using my power items correctly like I've had an insane amount of shock Dodgers but my lines have been like so bad I can't even drive right now dude oh god I just screwed Matt so badly poor Matt oh my gosh hahaha poor guy - he's probably pissed he's probably what the heck Troy what are you doing it's so easy for me to this derp around when I've already made it okay we're fine we're getting pork nice that is that is really crappy okay ah 30 points alright let's see you got eliminated it was sft jar alpha squeaks by and gets 18 we were down to the final six we are moving to the Star Cup where two people get eliminated and there's only six left so it's gonna be ridiculous now let's see if we can actually get this front one going nevermind I didn't even get the post artifice beautiful alright well that's fine there's only six in the room there can still be shocks guys so you have to be strategic that's not good I don't think I've pulled a blooper yet this entire time I'm gonna keep going for it yes Bradlee looks like she's playing pretty nice with me and I'm gonna play it really safe dude I almost threw my red as I went out of the the loop-d-loop not the loop-de-loop the ramp the pipe nice 30 hit the banana at the end I almost threw it and I could have got Bradley and then I would have gotten second dang it okay this is awesome for us though galaxy only has one point Matt only has four points that would be the biggest upset ever if Matt got eliminated before the ending so this is really good for us this is really good there's just I'm gonna go for shortcut but yeah there's a different amount of players in every single GP either distribution it's vastly different every single GP that sucks that's really bad I'm in a great spot though shock calling you do it no dude brutal brutal brutal going really wide here I'm gonna go for third number two people get eliminated guys so I have to be modesty and Bradley could get top tube so I'm not safe I need to get at least fourth place this next race third or fourth and I'll be I I had to make sure Bradley got hit I don't need him getting top two and then I'll be safe okay we were getting fourth I was like so aware of like where everybody was that whole race I was just making sure I was like I can't let Bradley beat me okay so we are moving on just barely Bradley and galaxy are eliminated down to final four this is where it's gonna get really rough we'll see how well they can team against me who knows maybe they wanna 1v1 me at that they might actually be going for each other it's gonna be interesting I think we'll figure out within the first two races like like how much they're gonna be going for each other and how much they're gonna be going for me cuz remember this thing ends when I'm out so dang he must have had a golden or something Jesus hablok they'd that was some good teaming there they pal into netted me only one person gets eliminated so every point matters a lot he burned out what the heck was that on purpose is he going for the bullets he's probably holding his item for the shortcut he's gonna block it he's gonna for sure block to cut it yeah I'm just gonna use this hmm what I couldn't believe I'd hit that banana I thought it was enough to the right ah I was trying to get second and okay that is really good for us but this is gonna be scary because they're gonna start slagging me hard now cuz I'm in last they're gonna get alpha 2 first and then they're gonna keep slowing me down so I have to like get ahead it's gonna be really hard [Music] doesn't be impossible maybe I'll pull the bullet bill or something that's a knots a terrible pole because if he has a star here I'm just absolutely screwed yeah Steve this is a horrible track for this format I'm so like distracted from thinking I'm gonna keep getting schlagg I need catch up with just a ton of mushrooms oh that's the beauty of Mario Kart is lap three matters so much more than the first two laps I don't even know what the strategy is here I feel so screwed I'm gonna bag a little bit I'm gonna hopefully pull something broken here I need to hit Alfa I don't care about Matt I only care about alpha I'm not gonna even go for Matt it's like it's weird cuz like everyone's teaming against me and I'm teaming against I'm on everyone else's team except alphas no he's still he's still goin for me of course okay I have to remember that just because I'm teaming with someone doesn't mean they're teaming with me it's like a it's like when you play Settlers of Catan and like you work together with certain people at certain times it's kind of like that you know except the differences is like everyone is working against me so that's the difference it's like being in the lead in photos of Catan that's like how you describe the knock out tournament so the feeling is very similar I have no idea what to do here I'm just gonna use these [Music] we moved on all right alpha is out and we're down to three I literally I'm just playing like chess in my head it's like I'm not even like focused on the game I'm just like focused on like targeting individual people that's what it feels like I'm just like so aware of where the people in last are these last two GPS I'm not even like focused on who's winning I'm just like trying to not get eliminated I'm not like trying to win it's weird and then there were three these epochs me and FW Matt one gets eliminated we were on the Lightning Cup if I make it to the final round it'll be a 1v1 on the special Cup sigh red got him that was a risky throw because there was a pretty low chance of that actually connecting I just want to get ahead of him I want to stay in first because if they get blues they're gonna hold it for each other probably oh he's got a mushroom he's got a mushroom there's a blue shell oh dude you should not have donut then again they're both trying to survive like everyone has zero points oh my gosh cuz it's like these people want to beat me and end it but they also need to make sure they survive so it's like he throws the blue that was so weird he should have held that should have held that alright okay here we go oh my god dude oh dude Matt what did Matt pull why is he so far back there I was hoping neither one of them would pull a mushroom and I get a little breakaway but one of them did or maybe both of them I know what I have to do I'm gonna wait though I'm gonna protection in first and then I'm and then Matt takes the shortcut with Omega and then I get passed by Matt and then like he's in third and I'm in second with the thundercloud and then he pulls broken items like I don't think it would ended much different the thundercloud takes like a little like it takes a second to activate so like it wasn't even like it wasn't in effect early enough i I waited too long to use it this is a good item I just want to get in first yes I got him I was trying to get him with the banana Sol badly I was like please hit my banana I'm gonna go really slow there's a lot of traps in some weird spots very interesting why he wants to hold those in first oh yeah this is a good spot to use that because he's gonna lose it oh did you not get to the candy in time he didn't he didn't you see that he's spitting on the mini-map oh that is brutal oh my gosh Matt just screwed him he was going for me and he hit him that oh that's hilarious sometimes stuff like that really backfires I'm going so slow here I need to be careful all right last race it's gonna come down to the last race no matter what we're making it to dry dry ruins cuz I if I get last I will end with 27 if Epic's gets first he ends with 27 so that means we do a tiebreaker in the special Cup so I am at least making it to dry dry ruins which is so awesome okay here we go I'm gonna try to get epics out here I don't want to have to go to a three-player dry dry everyone's race he's bagging a bit - I went really wide he's got a fig item box it's taunting me with the interesting location yes dude yes that's so good that's so good that's not even back spamming me I think he wants to 1v1 me cuz like his traps are very seldom unless he's trying to just get me comfortable and then he's gonna hit me of something that's another strategy people do I'm gonna go why yeah there's a banana there okay so yeah he's not he's playing like he's playing weird like he's trying to get me comfortable and then like get me with traps after three or four corners instead of just back spamming every corner that's what it seems like he's he's picking and choosing his spots instead of just spamming he's creating like a little maze for me you know I first sure moved on now Epic's is so far behind look at hit yeah he gave up I'm gonna try to hit Matt now I guess but none of these are gonna reach him this track has too many corridors and he's laying traps everywhere now okay guys we're moving on to the finals we've had some close calls man I don't know how we made it I honestly don't you can finally breathe a little bit right now hahaha well let's try to do that side trick beside wheelie or you know you can't do it off this wall you know that trick where like you wheelie off the wall and then like you do flips get style on ethics right now see if we can do it it's like there we go Oh Oh dirty all right guys we're in the finals it's me versus modesty a kfw Matt my 2v2 partner I would not want any other way Matthew I wish you the best of luck this should be good this should be really fun this is an item one of you won however the thundercloud does not self activate that is the only difference so that's gonna be really nice because the worst thing ever is when you're playing wanna be ones and then all of a sudden you pull up under cloud and it ruins your race so at least you have some some chance to uh use it effectively Jesus I got bumped really badly right there okay you can just fake out of Luck's after the cut got him and then I fail this are you serious I have to like pull it together man I'm gonna chain this [Music] those are some broken items oh my god if I could just play the video game you know then maybe I would win this race dude he pulls a mushroom he could win now why am I feeling that [Music] I just got no air I got no air I should have won that race oh that sucks I needed that dude now he's gonna start in first on Moon view oh my god I had it I don't think he would have won I think I literally had it because normally you just really over it there's a little bit there's like elevation right there you just wheelie over that ending but I just stuck to it gosh yeah I don't even think about that that's so stupid I've seen that happen to so many people before I should have been extra careful but I was scared I was looking at the mini-map and I saw him doing the shortcut and I was like oh I don't have time to realign and play it safe I'm just gonna wheelie over it I got really good items that race to I should have before Matt Baume dude he fell really far behind I think he got Thunder clouded oh no no no no I can't not again what am i doing okay we're good oh I can't be making more stupid mistakes like that we're not gonna get lucky and pull triple Red's every race it's really hard to hit I'm trying to like get them with weird spots you know that sucks oh that's so bad I can't I have to keep going forward that was good he held that he picked perfect time to use that because it's like there's no item box nearby so like a thundercloud spawning he's like not even on my mind he got me dude I did not expect that that was really good timing I missed the pillar trick and then he caught me because he got the pillar trip and then he boosts it and he was like right on me and then he used at the perfect time and then I was trying to break and hit him but then like he braked and I hit the boost panels and then it was like ah like it is I'm not catching him this is actually his best track so this one in dry drive ruins and koopa cave those are the three tracks he's always been known for so i'm gonna have to challenge myself more than any other race in this entire 32 track knockout turn they're right here [Music] [Music] he's gonna lay it back right here for sure no he's not confuses me oh this is bad okay I almost fell off right there and that would have been a gg but now he has enough of a lead where it's like I'm gonna need some help now I'm gonna need a blue shop bloom at like a really inopportune spot [Music] just gonna hope for the blue shell and keep avoiding as much stuff as I can um [Music] this sucks I think the strat is to use it right here oh no I didn't get the chain that's that's so bad my strategy there was to try to get the chain and pull a blue shell now yeah I didn't pull one that sucks there's no more boxes there's no more time I need to pull a nice payment right here no dang it I pulled it right there maybe oh well I was good I was good last race I had chances good games Matt good games I wish I could have put on a better performance that was some good racing by him he definitely clutched out those last two races the best moment was when he got me with the thundercloud I was like I was like in my head when I missed the pillar trick I was like oh maybe I'll bump him right here cuz he's gonna get the trick and then wheelie and then run into me but then instead he activates the thundercloud and it got me so that was good I made it further than I thought I would I wish I wouldn't have floundered so hard in the final Cup I need to practice 150cc more I play so many different game modes that I'm like I literally played 150cc like once or twice a month and I it really shows like there's so many mistakes being made everywhere I feel like I'm rusty you know very rusty but um yeah I was that was fun I enjoy the mind games and I enjoy having to figure out how to survive each GP you know it's it's really interesting towards the end it's really stressful the last three gPS because the last three I'm just like thinking about how the other players are working together you know Matt definitely wasn't working together too much with the other players though you can tell Matt was very much cheating every player equally cuz cuz he was he was like back spamming everybody he didn't care so that was good yeah thanks for watching that was fun [Music]
