Manyi says EFF is SA's only hope

well you've just seen moments ago the swearing-in is a member of parliament for the economic freedom fighters the current spokesperson for the Jacob Zuma Foundation our reporter artyant and Gunner standing by with money Artie good afternoon what's happening there a very good afternoon to you Stephen well it's official um who's a former ATM member is sworn in as a member of at the National Assembly together with three other eff members so that tells it up to four new eff members of the National Assembly he is joining me now and I I just want to get your reaction Mr money because even when the speaker was walking in she saw a very familiar face and of course in the political landscape in South Africa you're one who's known to be a part of the politics that take place in the country what is your reaction and what was the thought process for joining the eff yeah look now I think the country is in a crisis the country is in serious trouble so joining the EFA for me is the serious National Duty to ensure that we one is part of the force to liberate this country the African National Congress unfortunately after almost 30 years all they've done is really just to destroy this country so indeed it would take an organization that is a serious about transformation that is a serious about the liberation of the people of South Africa as the eff so me being here is really me forsaking all other things business and everything just to make sure that I am part of the force to ensure that we unseated the agency and we ensure that the eff pushes forward its seven Cardinal pillars and so South Africa can be a better place to live I'm just interested to find out couldn't you have done that through the ATM where were the differences of opinion and the way of doing things with the ATM for your departure there because there's still quite a vocal opposition party I mean this morning in the section 194 committee they were also very vocal but I just want to get a sense of where the difference would have been if you joined them or joined Parliament under the ATM no look I think the issue here is who is ready at this point in time to liberate South Africa for the ATM I'm sure we have had to wait for what happens in 2024 but the eff is already in government as we speak the eff is already beginning to make impact in the country so if we want to save South Africa here and now the place to come to is the eff we don't have a time to wait for 2024 and in fact I'm quoting on all the people of South Africa that love this country to join eff in their droves because this is the only formidable organization that can be an immediate replacement to the ANC there's no other organization that can replace agency other than the eff so therefore black professionals out there come down to a hand all professionals regardless of race this is the place to be this is the organization that has got energy has got capacity has got critical mass uh to bring change if you look at the eff at a local level it already has one more than a thousand councilors so that is a serious capacity if you look at the eff at the various provinces in fact in other provinces it is the official opposition in in Parliament it has got a critical mass to make a difference so indeed if we have to save South Africa here and now the place to come to is the eff quickly Before I Let You Go I am running out of time which committees are you looking to join which are of interest to you and of course for these new members to be sworn in it means other people had to vacate yeah look those are things that will be decided by the eff are not here on my own strength I'm the deployee of the eff so the eff will make a call and at the right time if they do meet up Demeter prepared They will announce but I'm here at the hands of the eff I'm here to make a contribution but the eff will decide where they deployed me thank you so much for your time we're running out of time and that is the new eff Member of Parliament of course it remains to be seen which committee he'll be joining together with the three others that have joined of course this is also at the back of those who have left then to make way for these and new members in the National Assembly our teams in Ghana thank you very much indeed
