Man who followed orders to torture brother, leading to his death, pleads guilty

At noon, the man accused of following orders to torture his teenage brother with special needs leading to his death has pled guilty. Paul Ferguson is charged with first degree child abuse in the death of his brother. 15 year old Timothy Ferguson. This comes a week after Paul and Timothy's mother, Shanda Vander Ark was found guilty in Timothy's murder in July of 2022. Police responded to the family home in Norton Shores to find Tim Timothy dead. He weighed just £69 with his body showing signs of malnutrition and hypothermia. Paul testified against his mother last week. Sharing details which included force feeding Timothy hot sauce and putting him in ice baths for hours at a time. Paul will be sentenced on January 29th.
