Man Chooses His Neighbor Girl To Pose As His Girlfriend, But Soon Things Get Tangled Up

[Music] the movie opens with a handsome man waking up in the middle of the night to his neighbors loud music he doesn't know the woman above him but she's very noisy upset with her constant noise he gets up and goes to her apartment when the girl opens the door he's surprised to see that she's rather pretty despite looking a bit messy he not so politely asks her to turn off the music and she quickly agrees and apologizes the man's name is Jason he's in his early 30s and works for his family's chain of spas and resorts Jason loves his family more than anything in his life his love made him except the CEO position when his mother passed away and his father stopped working Jason's dream is to work as a designer but his father's company takes up most of his time he has a lot of talent designing buildings and Parks a talent that is wasted in his father's company as for the woman she's the opposite of Jason her name's Sarah and she's a talented Chef who is finishing her thesis about culture and Cuisine while Jason works hard in his father's office and has firm roots in his hometown Sarah loves traveling around the world not even her sister Molly is enough to make her stay in one place Sarah has barely returned from a trip and she's already preparing to go to another country while in her hometown she decides to help her sister get her dream job at Jason's Resort as a caterer the reason why she was cooking so late is that Molly asked for her assistance in making a cake the cake will be one of the dishes in Molly's job interview and it has to be perfect Sarah wakes bright and early to go to Molly's catering office and she's happy to see her Molly is a pretty young woman very similar to Sarah in appearance but different in personality Sarah is Lively dreamy and Goofy Molly is more serious and down to earth she's been having financial problems with her catering business so the job at the resort would save her life before the interview she has to go buy some things she asks Sarah to meet her at the resort and leaves Jason is working at the resort when his brother Tim arrives Tim is the only one who knows about Jason's passion for design and the job offer he got he thinks his brother has to go for it and live his life the way he wants to not the way their father wishes Jason disagrees with his brother their father is very fragile after their mother's passing and Jason thinks it's his duty to take care of the family giving up on his dream seems easy if he makes his father happy as the brothers are talking their sisters Lisa and Amanda also show up they are there to talk about the schedule for the week since Tim's wedding is on the weekend the family has a tradition of doing many fun activities together before the wedding day Lisa and Amanda are overprotective in meddlesome Jason is afraid of what they are planning for the week knowing that they probably will do something about his love life he's right they are but it's worse than he's thinking Lisa and Amanda are planning to invite Jason's ex-girlfriend Cassie to their family week they think they made a beautiful couple and disagree with Jason's choice of breaking up with her they don't tell Jason about their idea knowing that he won't like it they think they are doing it for their own good ever since the breakup with Cassie Jason has been alone he's focusing more on his career and family not on relationships after his sisters leave it's Jason's father's turn to show up his name's William he's a nice old man very worried about his family and Company he's excited about their family week and hands Jason the schedule that his sisters planned Jason isn't thrilled back to Sarah Molly informs her that her van broke and she will probably be late for the interview she pleads for Sarah to go to the resort in case she can't arrive on time meanwhile Lisa and Amanda meet Jason's EX for lunch to talk about their plans for them Cassie is a beautiful woman with long blonde hair and a modelesque figure she's more than willing to be part of the sister's plan she wants Jason back and she'll do anything to get together with him again moving on Sarah goes to the resort and there she learns that Jason is the interviewer Sarah tries not to be nervous about it since she remembers clearly their last encounter in her apartment Jason is also surprised to see her there but he is very professional and doesn't treat her differently Sarah brings out the cake she baked the night before it's a healthy Tea cake Jason stares at the cake skeptically and tells Sarah that his father wants a healthy menu for his guests she explains that the cake is healthy and offers for him to try it Jason refuses saying that his father is the one responsible for choosing the catering in the end Sarah is frustrated because she can see he's not open to her recipe and wants more traditional food when the interview is over she leaves the cake behind and asks him to at least give it a try immediately after she leaves Jason tries the cake and he loves it it's full of flavors and not overly sweet he feels slightly bad for not giving Sarah more credit as for her she leaves the interview feeling frustrated and guilty that she didn't do better she knows Molly really wants the job and she trusted her now she has to give the news that it might not have gone too well Molly is sad especially because she has to pay for her van to be fixed but she knows Sarah did her best in addition she met her ex-boyfriend Ben and he also has a catering business he offered a job for her during an event at a museum and she'll accept it it's not what she wanted but she needs the money Sarah feels bad about it knowing that Molly and Ben didn't end the relationship on good terms she doesn't want her sister to do something just because she needs the money she has an idea to try and Salvage her interview but first she needs to cook when Jason and Tim are leaving the company together Tim informs him of their sister's plan with Cassie Jason is immediately upset with their meddling especially especially because they don't know the reason why they broke up he loves his family to Pieces but their constant meddling is very annoying Tim suggests that Jason brings a date for the wedding week maybe that way they would give their ridiculous plan up Jason doesn't want to date anyone at the moment and dismisses the idea Tim explains that he doesn't need to bring someone he's actually dating he can fake date Jason isn't sure if it's a good idea but maybe Tim is right later on Sarah cooks with loud music again and this time is a dish for Jason to try she goes to his apartment and begs him for another chance Jason explains that his father is the one who needs convincing not him as he stares at her disheartened expression he has an idea Sarah is good looking and seems nice enough she also has something she wants and which he can provide an interview with his father with that in mind he asks her to be his fake date for the wedding and then she can talk directly to his father thinking about her sister and how much she needs the job Sarah agrees she has no idea what she's getting herself into Jason's sisters are planning Tim's wedding and talking about Jason's they think it's about time their brother gets married and Cassie is the a perfect candidate she's gorgeous with a good family name and connections besides she's nice and they like her on the other side of town another sister is in a very different situation Molly is overflowing with debt and she needs money not knowing that Sarah will try to get her another chance she agrees to work with Ben it's only later that Sarah finally tells her that she agreed to be Jason's fake girlfriend to try and talk to his father Jason is with her and informs the sisters that Sarah needs to spend the whole week with him his family is very close and they love doing things together as a result Sarah's week will be busy with dinners lunches picnics and so on the first event is dinner as soon as they arrive at Jason's Father's House his sisters show up when they see Sarah a simple City girl who is pretty but not overly so they are shocked they had no idea Jason was dating someone since he hasn't mentioned it at all now Cassie is there Jason isn't happy to see Cassie he has no issues with her but he thinks he's being blindsided by them as for the gorgeous ex she'll do anything to make Jason break up with Sarah Sarah has no idea that Cassie is his ex or that Jason's sisters are trying to make them break up she's happy enough to be there and meet the family before dinner Jason introduces Sarah to his father William Sarah soon notices that William is very proud of Jason and Jason enjoys it she tries talking about her sister's catering but they are interrupted by Jason's sisters Lisa and Amanda separate Sarah from Jason seating her next to the kids and Jason next to Cassie Jason is on to what his sisters are doing and he isn't happy as for Sarah she gets along well with everyone she's an easy going girl communicative and smart she plays well in her role pretending to have known Jason for weeks after dinner Jason and Sarah get a moment to themselves and Sarah mentions that her family move a lot she never had a family like Jason's so close to each other her parents are good parents but they weren't very present moving around the country wasn't pleasant either and her lack of roots influences Sarah to this day she's afraid of settling meanwhile Molly is talking to Ben about his job offer when he invites her out to have dinner she denies it not willing to go down that path with him again he's a nice guy but not boyfriend material in Molly's opinion the neck next day Sarah goes to the family's scavenger hunt they split into groups and Sarah ends up with Jason and his nephews the kids love Sarah they find her funny and cool the time they spend together is great better than Jason imagined Sarah is great with kids and she's not fussy completely different from the women he's used to dating he isn't the only one to notice it Cassie watches them interacting from a distance and it makes her mad she wants Jason for herself and thinks she's the one for him not Sarah it's obvious Sarah doesn't belong to their world and she wants her to leave in a spiteful moment Cassie throws Sarah's food on the ground and pretends it was an accident the food was for William to try and Sarah is sad that she won't get the chance she never even considered that Cassie did it on purpose Jason offers to grab some plastic bags to clean up the mess and Cassie goes with him it's the first time they are alone and she tries to talk to him about their relationship he shuts her down not in the mood to talk about the past he likes Cassie and knows she's a nice person but he doesn't want to date her again when they come back Jason Goes to Sarah's side and she notices Cassie doesn't look happy she wonders is why Jason needs her there if he already has Cassie she has no idea that he only asked her because of Cassie and his sisters Sarah thinks Cassie is perfect for Jason but he tells her that he wants her to stay with him Lisa and Amanda want to know more about Sarah's relationship with Jason they are doubtful about their plans as they watch Jason laughing with Sarah surprisingly to them they look close Lisa comes up with an idea to find out how they act without them she's going to send her children to stay with Jason before they go to Jason's apartment they stop at Sarris Jason is a plant lover and he's shocked to see that Sarah's plants are in desperate need of water his nephews want to help her out and Jason agrees it's a cozy moment for them as they take care of the plants and talk Sarah is easy to be with in turn Sarah admires the way Jason loves his nephews his niece puts a flower behind Sarah's ear and asks him if he thinks she's pretty Jason stares deeply into Sarah's eyes and replies that she's lovely Sarah's heart beats harder with his compliment and she's a bit bashful after that Jason informs the kids they have to go and his niece comments that they can't because she has to find evidence of their relationship Jason and Sarah figure out that his sisters have something to do with the kids involvement they leave soon after but before Sarah can go to bed Jason comes back with a stuffed bunny he mentions that his nephew wanted Sarah to have it to keep her company they have another moment of staring and contemplating their feelings before Jason goes back to his apartment later on Molly calls Sarah to ask if she plays safe she had an argument with her ex about the amount of work he wanted to do for the museum event and she wanted something simpler Sarah thinks Molly is reluctant in leaving her comfort zone but that's okay it's not a big issue that she needs to fix she only needs to be more confident in her abilities they also talk about Sarah's plans for the future she'll travel soon to another country to complete her thesis Sarah is excited about it the following day Sarah Jason and the kids meet Lisa and her husband as soon as Jason tells Lisa that her son lent his favorite bunny to Sarah she's surprised her opinion of Sarah and Jason's relationship starts changing as she gets to know Sarah she's a great person and they need to give her a chance William invites Sarah to fish with him and there she sees her opportunity to talk about Molly's food William is a nice man not arrogant or prideful he listens to her and agrees to give her a chance it's everything she might have ever wanted after fishing Jason and Sarah go on a walk together Sarah expresses that Jason is very lucky to have the family he has in the brief time she spent with them she could see how close they are Jason is proud of his family they do everything together and after his mother passed they got even closer it's a way to remember and cherish her Jason also admits to Sarah that he got a job opportunity to work as a designer but he won't accept Sarah thinks he needs to leave his comfort zone and do what he loves he can't hide behind his father's Shadow for the rest of his life nor let his family dictate what he should do Jason doesn't think it's that easy later that day Sarah and Jason give Molly the good news she will have the chance to do the interview again and show William her delicious food Molly is very happy and relieved she is getting romantically involved with Ben again and she doesn't want to depend financially on him Jason gives Molly a perfect opportunity to please his father He suggests they cook for the next lunch with his family and they readily agree Sarah feels her heart warm at his generosity meanwhile Lisa and Amanda decide to tell Cassie that Jason is happy with Sarah Cassie already knows that Jason has feelings for Sarah it's obvious by the way he looks at her and laughs with her Cassie is jealous and not willing to lose she's not normally on the losing side and she'll do whatever is necessary to break them up she makes a call asking her uncle for help Sarah goes out shopping with Molly and they have a heart to heart Molly thinks Sarah has feelings for Jason and that she should give him a shot Sarah disagrees she has a trip to go on the following week and Jason has Cassie she thinks they are the obvious choice to be together she and Jason are from different worlds and she doesn't think they could ever work Molly disagrees with her she thinks Sarah is only afraid of commitment something that comes from their family issues her parents constant absence forced Sarah to have a coping mechanism traveling and being away is her way of not getting hurt if she isn't close to people they can't hurt her still she ruminates about her sister's words she can admit to herself that Jason surprised her in a good way he's a good man very caring and protective over the ones he loves he's the kind of man who would not let her down Jason has also developed feelings for Sarah she's funny pretty smart and easy to talk to she isn't high maintenance like Cassie and she's down to earth he's so infatuated with her that he decides to help her with lunch for his family he goes to her apartment and Sarah teaches him what he needs to do as they cook Jason subtly wonders if she needs to travel to write her thesis in the beginning she needed to but now it's almost over there's no need for her to travel again He suggests that she does her research in the USA maybe in California but she disagrees deep down she only wants an excuse to run away if needed they stare at each other again wondering what it would be like if they allowed themselves to fall the moment is broken and they pretend nothing happened later on they go to his family's house for brunch and it all looks delicious Cassie can't stop her jealousy from showing on her pretty face She Wants Sarah gun as soon as possible everyone compliments Sarah's food Lisa even mentions that the food reminds her of her mother's cooking Jason emotionally tells Sarah that she brought the spark back to his family she reminds them of his mother with her Lively personality and bright smile Sarah is flattered and happy that she could bring something to them they are almost kissing when Cassie interrupts saying that William wants to talk to Jason he leaves them alone and Cassie shows her true colors she informs Sarah that she knows that she and Jason are together for real because Sarah has been in the USA for just a week she threatens to tell everyone if Sarah doesn't disappear from Jason's life Sarah has no idea how to act because Cassie's Behavior caught her by surprise she feels sad that Cassie thinks badly of her she only wanted to help her sister out and ended up falling for Jason along the way Cassie also tells her that her uncle's company will merge with Williams so Cassie and Jason will always be together Cassie has no idea that Jason feels trapped in his father's company and he doesn't want to work there for the rest of his life she doesn't know him at all because she made his life even harder meanwhile it seems as though William called Jason in to give him the good news it's obvious by Jason's face that he isn't thrilled about the merch it will only make it more difficult to leave Tim is there too and he's waiting for the moment Jason will tell their father the truth he never does will William doesn't notice that Jason isn't happy after he leaves Tim asks why he didn't tell their father the truth Jason doesn't want to let William down especially not when he's so happy and proud moving on Molly is having trouble with Ben again during their whole relationship Ben would come up with crazy ideas and she always had to work for it she resents his lack of help and how lonely she feels at times he once again disappoints her when he doesn't show up to help her cook for the museum event Molly is so tired of disappointments in her life she has had enough when Ben finally arrives hours later she's mad at him and they argue she doesn't feel like he supports her she feels overworked and stressed with him in his ideas Ben is hurt by her assumptions because the only reason he was late is that he was buying a new van for her he wanted to give it to her as a gift for her hard work Molly can't believe it Ben confesses that he missed Molly more than anything and that she's a priority in his life Molly doesn't know what to think back to Sarah and Jason he vents to her about the merge and how trapped he feels he also wants her to stay in the USA instead of traveling Sarah still thinks he should go after his dreams and compare is their situation she has always gone after what she wants no matter what he snaps at her that their situation is completely different because she doesn't have a family like his Sarah is hurt and offended by his words she told him how her parents worked and moved a lot but not as a weapon for him to use against her he has no idea how much it hurts her to see him interacting with his family and knowing she doesn't have something similar she has Molly and that's it Jason feels bad about the way he spoke to her but doesn't apologize realizing that she's Fallen too hard for him Sarah decides to break their Arrangement two days before the wedding later on Sarah and Molly talk about their failing relationships Sarah thinks Molly has to step out of her comfort zone and take more risks Molly thinks Sarah is afraid of commitment and should stop running away from her fears she advises her to go after Jason before he's taken Jason isn't feeling so great about their fight he's fallen for Sarah and knowing that she might leave without talking to him is hard at the next family dinner Sarah is absent Jason tries to act normal with his family but he feels as if everything is falling apart in his life later that day Tim is with Jason in his apartment when he finds out the catering service he hired won't show up for his wedding he's so scared that it will ruin the wedding that he yells on the phone Sarah overhears when she finds out what happened she has an idea she calls Molly and explains the situation her sister agrees to take care of the catering and asks Ben for help it's the wedding day and everyone is working to make things perfect Lisa and Amanda tell Jason that they like Sarah and think she's a good girlfriend for him Jason is surprised but happy Tim also advises him to not let Sarah go the wedding is beautiful and the food is great Jason watches Sarah from a distance feeling his heart being pulled in her Direction watching her happiness gives him the strength to make the right choices he informs William that he won't work at the company anymore he wants to follow his own path his father isn't upset he wants his kids to be happy Jason also talks to Cassie and explains that he respects her and cares for her but they won't be together as a couple again Cassie's Last Hope was the merge but Jason won't be the CEO anymore so there's no point she gives up on her Pursuit and leaves the party after a sincere goodbye to him as for Sarah she also made some difficult choices she decided to stay in the USA her thesis is almost ready and there's no need for her to travel again she also asks Molly for a place in her catering business and her sister gladly agrees now the only thing they need to fix is their relationship Jason approaches Sarah later on and they talk Sarah informs him of her decision and he tells her his Jason adds that the past week was the best he's had in ages and that he knows what is right for him he wants Sarah at his side on his new journey and she agrees they finally kiss feeling as if the world is theirs Lisa and Amanda Cherish them happy that their brother found someone worthy of him the rest of the evening is spent dancing kissing and feeling happy with each other
