about a 16 hour fight i guess flight time not including the layover but well worth it super super excited yeah we can't wait we're not at the resort yet so we're here at the waldorf and look at the bicycle yeah teenager and for the children yeah we have yes okay so this is one of our restaurants we have jasmine yeah it's arabic restaurant yeah it's only open for dinner and the booking is dude so here is our main restaurant which is for your breakfast this is the one right or only one restaurant for breakfast 6 30 to 10 30. okay yeah early i like early he doesn't like her really okay and also they are open for dinner dinner so welcome to our villa after you huh [Music] so this was a nice surprise this is our anniversary so they have made better it's a fruit basket largest guava i've ever seen in my life that's a big wall um nice bottle of wine so that was very nice and actually this opens up to the pool as you can see lots of sitting area so we can take turns [Music] got lounges in the sun lounger a day bed in the sun as well let's go down and look at these hammocks or is it like a sitting area [Music] are you gonna jump on hon no hammocks but hey i got my forever 10 going natural 100 yeah yeah yeah i really really dig in this place it's really nice beautiful let's go back inside honey and check it out let's see oh nice bar area and there is nice they left for us as well look at that so cute this is their anniversary with the hearts on it real nice cool what's the bar i'm gonna take advantage of that [Music] [Music] fully automated like um everything from the directory to the dining to the spa it's pretty much a control pad also for the room it is temperature really really high sealants really really digging that opens it up in the bathroom okay but first let's see what's in these doors closet number one yeah safe this may come in handy handy you're doing some snorkeling it's good to have and we have our second closet here we have unpacked as we can see but good space to do so really really nice this is like a tub for many persons big mob style so look look i can fit in it so we both can fit in here comfortably absolutely there's some nice products here as well what's in this oh some nice bad socks that'll be nice really really nice bathroom it's left over here you got some furragama products you got her amenities okay look at these tubs huh yeah really really nice i love these high ceilings and these mirrors as well really really cool oh yeah that's my side let's see does it open up oh yeah some products inside oh before the shower let's see what's over here ah you know i'm digging this always if you've been to asia those are everywhere i really really like those automated washes you got your rain shower here and the small head for you the rain let's go ahead there oh man and it opens up to an outdoor shower area it's very serene out here got some coconut trees i wonder if i can take some coconut here goes well with vodka nice shower area aha it's tall enough for me that's good absolutely it's very serene out here all right i'm behind you very lovely but first what's this oh just a seat okay so you can yeah mahan's getting it she's got a mini flow going [Music] uh [Music] yeah time to have some breakfast where you have been starting with this salad and some prawn dumplings and stir-fry start with some fruits and a loaded salad here we got some other stuff coming check out the view can't eat that [Music] so right here is an egg benedict with um smoked salmon looks very very good so excited to try it [Music] [Music] [Music] this is our mode of transportation around the island we have his and her bike so you can see my seat is a lot lower than his shoddy yep bikes six feet tall our bikes just outside our villa wherever he vacations the swan follows say hello how many miles do you think the swan has [Applause] at least 20 000 by now maybe the most traveled salon the first day we arrived we are very jet-lagged so we had about what 16 hours of flight time yeah 13 hours from chicago to doha and then four and a half always from doha to maldives right but we did have a long layover in um doha so that was a little bit tiring when we got when we got in so we took it easy yeah cool cove so it's only only one flight so eight hour layover that's not typical though yeah right um so we got here but we knew we were going to be tired so we deliberately didn't make any plans for that night so we came in they gave us like a tour of the property they drove us around on the little golf buggy um and then you know after that we kind of relaxed in our room yeah just chill mode yeah took a nap and woke up pretty late in the afternoon and you know we took it easy and grab the bite at their more casual um restaurant yeah just chill on the first day not much to do trying to get the body accustomed to the new um time zone right because it's 12 hours ahead of our our normal time zone so it takes more to get the body adjusted but we slept okay that night but um not completely okay [Applause] this is a dog's pool we've got uh some cabanas here that you can just launch relax if you wanted then you got a lot of seating areas all over i love the tile beautiful areas to wash off and then let's just go have a look and see other areas of it lots and lots of seated areas everywhere [Music] here is to relax [Music] here is the enter maybe okay it's pretty cool so one time we can put the six or seven pieces one time is okay that's awesome thank you so it's a pizza bar here yeah this is not only pizza we have a fresh romaine pasta and pizza okay great if you wanna try to make pasta you okay thank you good morning i will come back later on sure thank you our pizza second day we felt a bit better in terms of rest we slept most of the night but we did wake up fairly early still yeah really early like three in the morning three yeah yeah so a lot earlier than we anticipated yep but we um you know we lay there then we went to the gym um uh maybe around six ish so had a really nice workout at the gym um before going to breakfast yeah and then after after that we we're pretty much just laid around and it was we took it easy and just relaxed most of the day at the villa yeah um and we also snorkeled by our villa so we have a nice reef around the villa so you know really beautiful fish um we're able to capture their um you know there's a good shallow area but then it goes deep as well so it drops off dramatically i mean deep blue deep deep deep no no no i stay in the shallows so we're not strong swimmers so yes we can swim though yes we can swim but we're not strong swimmers so we know exactly where we needed to be yep um so yeah and then we had um dinner reservations the second night at the chinese restaurant lilong lilong yeah um very nice atmosphere in the restaurant the core is beautiful they have a really really nice deck so we had a table on the deck it was a gorgeous night yeah so the table on the deck that was on the water it was really beautiful they told us that sometimes you can see sharks and stingrays and other interesting life marine life sometimes turtles turtles go by but we didn't see any yeah not that night um they're really known for their duck so if you're into duck that's the place to be i'm not into dog yeah we haven't been really eating meat um this year so red snapper i'm an aspiring pescetarian so been mostly doing plant-based and fish and some seafood so yeah it was a nice day yeah so [Music] so [Music] this is the li long chinese restaurant [Music] really really nice about to have a nice dinner seated early [Music] yeah awesome this field sometimes you just have to relax and enjoy see my hands out really really tired just want to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze so this is the breakfast area at the tasting table as you can see we've got some cheese some yogurt here really food growing up in jamaica lots and lots of fruits cantaloupes apples pineapples [Music] lots of bread [Music] you're a nice setup [Music] [Music] and over this section you have the mouldiness some chipotle chicken curry oh potato curry you can get the fresh noodles different ingredients there's also some stir fried noodles seafood fresh morning you get different juices different boosters fresh squeezed juices very nice to have of course different types of have some salad as well different types of lettuce some additional fillers that you can have lots of nuts and fruits then different types of cheeses i have to try and of course to do the waldorf vein of famous benedict x benedict so i did it on wheat instead right yes um beautiful okay we came back from a early morning workout to this wonderful surprise oh nice and warm a room attendant took care of us check out the view from the tub [Music] so this is uh amber and we can join here for the sunset it's really really really really beautiful sunset really sunset [Music] this [Music] so we're on our way to dinner but we wanted to stop here first to at least observe the um gorgeousness of mother nature thank you [Music] and also the highest point in the island because we have which means from the ground 10 meter yes [Music] thank you very much thank you thank you appreciate it so this is the crab comb and this one is the couscous okay with the olive oil and also a transparent ravioli inside you with hazelnut oil hazelnut and also raspberry with mint leaves okay this is edible hundred percent you can eat that it's transparent yeah thank you so here we go the maldivian yellowfin tuna tata with the beluga caviar avocado and also parmesan cheese cracker finish up with some yuzujo and also the rice cracker and also the minestrone soup the vegetable broth thank you very nice so this butter is a smoked rosemary butter okay thank you thank you we have our palette cleanser this is burger more sobe refreshing ice oh yeah how's the dinner so far excellent thank you here we got the jarrah wood smoked miyazaki working beef apple with some chanterelle mushroom white asparagus and also the white truffle inside we have a caramelized onion puree and also we have the truffle juice and for human we have a job job fish it's a local reef fish with the lemon butter sauce and also the caramelized onion puree with some white uh asparagus and white truffle with central mushroom very good thank you thank you thank you so we got the grilled honey pineapple with green ice cream and also white cheese and caramel sauce raspberry pralines yeah and this is our setup where we keep most of the red wines in the place so we have a selection from burgundy and all the way to this uh aldo and all over the world especially we have a huge collection from italy as well a lot of brunei love chino a lot of super tuscan wines chateau [Music] okay we gotta figure out where it here it is so we have 2005 vintage over here and 98 there you go 98 okay and also 96 [Music] 96 chateau margo and 2008 uh 14. so we try to control uh 14 to 16 because celsius yeah celsius not fahrenheit it might be freezing cold for the wines in other ways yeah
