[Music] hey what's up everybody welcome back to another video as you guys just saw in that clip right there I'm gonna be doing two tumblers a day I've had a lot of requests I've done one video of a tumbler I haven't done any more since then people have been asking me when am I gonna do another one so here we go we're gonna be doing two and LSU Tigers and you know Orleans Saints we're gonna be doing one of each so if you're interested on how this came out stick around so you can check it out alright so the tumblers that we're gonna be using do you see this our polar Camel tumblers I got these from Conde I believe either come to your JD s I always forget I put orders through both of them all the time so I forget one of them to check them out and we're gonna be doing these two and then I have a purple for the base and a yellow or gold for the base because like I said LSU tigers and the New Orleans Saints the reason I'm gonna spray-paint them before I put the glitter is because if you miss anything you always want to have a base to back up the glitter so if you miss anything you won't see the chrome you'll see purple which will blend in with the purple glitter alright so the first thing we're gonna do is we're gonna take out the tops and the reason I'm taking off the top is because I'm gonna put it inside of a baggy you just want to find a spot where there's no holes so just find a spot like this right here no holes you're gonna put the side with the gasket facing up you're gonna spin it so now the gaskets facing down so that whenever you put it back on the tumbler what it's actually gonna do is it's gonna seal it and keep it from getting spray paint on the inside then you can just tie it into a little knot something like this just to hold it in place alright so we got that one as you can see what is gonna do is it's gonna keep the top of this tumbler from getting spray paint on it and it's gonna keep the cap from getting the spray paint we're gonna spray paint the rest of this so let me do this alright so they're both done let's go ahead and go outside and spray paint these real quick alright so this part here is very basic what I did before I came out here also as I wiped them down you want to make sure that there is no grease on it right all we're gonna do right here is we're gonna go ahead we're gonna spray-paint this just making sure that we don't get any runs all right so as you can see they're both done Emily I'm still here for a little bit I'm letting them dry off and I'm gonna spray-paint the bottom still got to do the bottom of them but remember this is just a base coat you don't have to get it really super bright so it's like I said it's just to cover up whatever the glitter misses all right so here they are both of them right here spray painted they're ready to go all right so one thing that I did change up is the way I did it like I said it's been a while since I did it so instead of twisting on the outside twisted on the on the bottom side so you can stick it inside the cup so that whenever you spray-paint it if you turn it upside down to get the bottom it'll be easier to make a stand straight up so it's not leaning to the side right so these are done I'm gonna move this one this is the glitter that we're gonna be using this one right here I just picked up at Walmart and then we're gonna be using some Mod Podge and then one of these so we're gonna go ahead start putting some Mod Podge on here so that we can put some glitter on the tumbler so that we can put the glitter on the tumbler and then once it's done we're just gonna let it sit until tomorrow so we're gonna go ahead we're gonna do this first one so usually you can get a smaller one mice a little bit too big but you'd have to use one this big you can use a smaller one then you're just gonna go coat it you can leave it on or take it off I'm gonna take it off if glitter or glue gets on the inside it's okay cuz then you could just sand it off later on this is the way I do it like I always tell you this is the way I do it everybody has their own ways of doing things this is the way I do it it looks good so I'm going to leave this in here now what I'm gonna do them and open this up I'm not going to use any of these little spouts that are on here you can see as you can see right here I've never used any of those in there I just left it like that so the next thing we're gonna do now is we shouldn't get the glitter just start putting it on anyway all right so here's our first one that's a gold one done you can see like I was telling you you just see as I'm turning it some little spots right here right there if we didn't spray paint it yellow you would see that the chrome through it or the silver so that's the reason that I spray paint is that so that we can have a base of yellow so that when it comes time we won't see the silver shining through the gold so we're gonna go ahead we're gonna let this dry for today and then tomorrow we'll go ahead and we'll shake it off once we shake it off we'll do another coat of this with this stuff right here I'm gonna get another parchment paper and I'm gonna move this over here move so I move this tumbler out of the way and then with the parchment paper this here grab your grab your glitter I like to put a little fold a little crease in it and then I just pour it right back into the container so we saved all of this glitter by putting it back in here and then we keep use it again tomorrow whenever we get ready to do the second coat on this one over here alright so here we are like I said I had to pick up this purple glitter so this is the next day that I'm doing this here's the purple glitter that we're gonna be using right here and with this purple glitter it actually matches pretty good with the purple that I put on the can so it's gonna look really good and since this is gonna be the color for LSU I'm gonna add a little bit of this gold into the purple but I don't want it overpower the purple so I'm just gonna mix a little bit into this Cup right here till I think it looks okay so we won't be able to reuse we're gonna be able to put it back in these containers because it's gonna obviously be mixed but here's the one that we did last night you can see the colors on this one look really good if anything got right here on the rim all we got to do is take some sandpaper later on and get it off but for now we're just gonna leave it like that all right so the next thing we're gonna do is we're gonna go ahead and start to put the glitter on here but before we get into that I want to start the epoxy on this so that we can get start drawing so over here to the side I'm going to show you in a minute I do have the tumbler maker this is the first time you guys are watching me do a tumblers you guys I'm gonna check it out in a minute I made my own tumbler Turner or Cooke Turner or whatever they call them I made my own so a couple things that you're gonna need for this you're gonna need this epoxy right here so if you do go out and you buy this you're gonna see that it shows on the side right here it looks like this is what it's telling you it comes with like it's coming with the resin and the hardener the Star Cup and the popsicle stick but then when you get home and you open it up you're gonna actually see it only comes with those and then so what I had to do is I had to go buy some popsicle sticks and then I bought some of these little cups to wash your mouth out or whatever you like to use them for so I bought a bunch of these from Walmart just to mix this together so that we can get this going and then you're also and then you might also need a heat gun what the heat gun does is whenever you are putting the resin and you see bubbles you can heat it up to take the bubbles out so you can use this right here and that's what I usually use what I'm doing this process so we're gonna go ahead we're gonna start to mix the resin and the hardener together so that we can start doing this one so let's go over to the Turner alright so here's the one that I made right here here's the motor that it came with then it has this rod that sits on the inside it was longer than this right here because see it just goes from here to here but it was longer I cut it down to size and then I just got a little football from the dollar store that I just stick on here so that it'll hold the cup in place while it's turning so we're gonna go ahead as you can see the first time that I did this I didn't know what I was doing and I should have put something down to protect this but I did it and now it's like a blob but it's alright I could sand it down and redo it later but anyways like I said it was my first time when I did it and now I know to cover it right too late but it I don't think it matters anymore but I'm gonna do it anyways alright for this next part right here we're gonna need three cups one two three one for the resin one for the hardener and one to mix them so all you want to do basically is you want to put whatever you put in the resin you want to put out the hardener so one two one then we're gonna put them in here or mix them up and it says you got to let it sit for like you got to stir it for like two minutes let it sit for a while to let the bubbles come up I do mix it for about two minutes after I mix it for about two minutes I just wait I don't wait fifteen minutes because I'm gonna be using the heat gun so so there's the resin and then this one right here is the hardener the darker one is the hardener so whatever you pour of this one so whatever I just poured of this one you want to make sure you pour the same so what the light I could see where I poured alright so now that we got them both mixed together you don't really need a third cup because for the simple fact they're both measured out all we can do is just dump one inside the other and that's what I'm going to do right now so I'll just take the hardener and dump it into the resin it's good alright so now it says mix it for two minutes I'm not gonna bore you with this so we'll be right back alright so we got it mixed as you can see there's a lot of bubbles in there but it's all right because it's glitter if it was something that was gonna be like a flat background towards just a solid color no glitter the bubbles you want it you really want to get them out so that they don't see him I mean I do get him out with the heat gun but I'm not too worried about the bubbles right now so I'll put this on here or you could just put it on here like this and then slide it into place the cool thing about this motor that I got right here is it's a plug-in when you plug it in and then once you plug it in this one actually doesn't have an on/off switch so when you turn it on it'll spin one way like this and then if I turn it off and turn it back on it will spin the other way so that's what's pretty cool about this one this little motor right here so what we're gonna do also if you have one of these you can use this or you can just use your popsicle stick to move it around I like to use the glove CLAB more control of it then I just throw it away when I'm done I'm left-handed so I put on my left hand whatever hand you want to put it on and you put it on whatever you feel comfortable with so I'm just gonna start pouring it on top and as you can see it's just going to start circling around I don't want to put too much because I don't want it to drip everywhere I want to try to save as much as this as I can because I didn't make too much I don't want to put a real thick coat on this all I'm trying to do is cover up the glitter with this first coat right here by putting the glitter on here with this first coat I will then be able to put stickers on it and then whenever I get the stickers on I'll put a second coat on here and with the second coat well what happened was will is it will cover up the sticker making it able to be washed so it's pretty cool just want to make sure you get everywhere so that it all gets coated so we're gonna go ahead we're gonna fast-forward through this so here we go all right so we got the epoxy on here they puck C's now you can't really see it but you could what is doing is while the term well the tumbler is turning the epoxy is rotating around it making it even coat all the way around it so make sure you get the bottom the way you saw the way I was doing the bottom especially the rim and the bottom everything else will flow in place so you could look we're gonna zoom in a little bit keep the whole thing in frame there right there so if you look at it you can't see any any bubbles right now and as I'm looking at it close you can't see any bubbles so I think we're good alright so here we go so like I said I don't want to overpower this purple with gold so I put a little bit in there not much basically it was whatever was on these parchment paper so we're gonna go ahead we're gonna pour a little bit in here play a little bit more I'm gonna pour that much then we're just gonna shake it up to see how it looks so there's hardly any yellow in there now we're gonna add a little more yellow a little bit more just add to your liking it doesn't whatever you think is right is what just go with it if you put too much you can always put more purple to balance out the colors we just want to get some of that yellow in there to blend with the purple right so just like yesterday we're gonna go ahead we're gonna start with this and what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna put this on here so whenever I get ready I can move this out of the way to put put the glitter back in here to put on here so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna start with this side first so then I could get the glitter on here and then stick my hand inside and do the other side unlike yesterday whenever I was doing it I did this then I had to pour the glitter basically on my hand to get the rim I'm gonna start on this side get over here so same thing we've got our brush dip it in get it we can go half way down we're good there stick my brush back into the paint now we're gonna grab this here okay and we're just basically going to start pouring it I really want to get the rim of this because I couldn't do it too good yesterday so let's do this the right way you can see the purple you can see the yellow in the purple now you can see that hopefully you can so I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go ahead I'm gonna dump this all this off to the side I'm gonna grab this just pour it back into the cup let me see that looks pretty good got the purple with a little bit of yellow in there if you can see that now I'm gonna go ahead I'm gonna do this piece and so now I'm gonna stick my hand inside like I did yesterday then with the Mod podrace and go back we're gonna touch up the bottom down here so whenever you do that don't stick your hand in there too far so you can't turn it make sure it's loose enough so he can spin the mug or the tumbler on your hand I know a lot of people like to leave this piece chrome and the top piece chrome the customer told me they didn't care how it was just do it too however I felt it looked good so all right so once you got it to your liking you got to stand it up on the bottom down here so this is where you don't want to grab it too hard because then you'll leave fingerprints on it so just barely touch it lift it up and put it to the Suttons then again with just up here we're gonna save this alright so that's it that's all I could do for today while the epoxy is drying while the yellow ones drying with the epoxy this purple one is going to be drying tomorrow hopefully the epoxy one is dried so then we can swap them out and then we can start making the stickers for the New Orleans Saints and then put them on there put another coat of epoxy over it and those will be done so it's a process especially with epoxy you got to let it dry rights alright so here we are I didn't show you the process when I did this one it's the same process that I did this one they're both complete the next thing I want to do is is go ahead and I want to get all the bumps out of these so what I do is I use this right here you can use any cut type of you can use any type of sandpaper you want I like using the 400 grit because it's not gonna scratch it it's really fine sandpaper all you do is just get it wet and you wet Sandy's you're gonna wet Sandy's and what it's gonna do is it's gonna make the finish it's gonna dole it out but that's okay cuz whenever you put the last coat of epoxy it's gonna make it shine again all we're really doing is just scuffing it not even scuffing it we're just standing it just to get any of the glitter that didn't lay flat onto this right here and then we're gonna round the edges up here cuz we did go all the way to the top so one thing I want to do is get up here and around the edges so let's go ahead and start that real quick alright so here we go we're gonna go with this one right here here's some water sandpaper that I'm gonna use and then I just cut a little piece off like this this sandpaper I picked up at a so you could play get it at Walmart - lets buy cheaper at Walmart I went to a store this closer's and then we're just gonna basically what we're gonna do is we're gonna send it and as I'm turning it I'm just filling for any edges anything any glitter that might have lifted that didn't sit right like I should say and then especially on the bottom you want to get the bottoms you don't want to put it down in the nurse something one side sticking up farther and it doesn't sit right so yeah just check the bottom anything on the bottoms you want to make sure that it is everything down here is good it's a glitter just sit right and we're just gonna do the same for both of these as you can see it's kind of dull now but that's okay it's gonna get dull but whenever we put the second coat of epoxy on there after we put the logos it will shine again so we're gonna go ahead we're gonna work both of these get both of these done and then once we are done we're gonna go upstairs all right so now that these are done what we're gonna do now is we're gonna start you can see my computer back there its deck back there by the cutter so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna start cutting the logos through these once we cut the logos we're gonna go ahead we're gonna start laying them and put them on here so you could check them out and see how they look and whenever I'm doing that I'm gonna have Madison back here she's gonna be pressing all her Girl Scout patches onto her vest I says something else you could do also if you got some Girl Scouts in your neighborhood or your kids do Girl Scouts instead of sewing these on they got that sticky backing you press it on one side for 25 seconds then you flip the vest around and then what you're gonna do is you're gonna press it again for 25 seconds so we're gonna go ahead we're gonna press one whole side for 25 seconds they're gonna flip the whole thing over and we're gonna do that while we're cutting these images over there so you guys could check her out see how they go while we cut those images I already have my first two lined up right here so we're gonna swing the press over [Music] 25 seconds now we're gonna do the rest of them once you get them up press down there for 25 seconds what you're gonna do after that you're gonna flip it around and then you're gonna do the opposite side for 45 seconds now we flipped it over so that the glue is on the outer side so we can stick better I just wanted to show you how easy it was to put that patches on there and if you're a kid and you're doing this make sure you always have a parrot with you thank you for watching and keep pressing alright so now that Madison is done and we got these stickers cut like I said this is gonna be for the gold one this is gonna be the logo that we're gonna put on one side and then on the other side we're gonna put this right here we're gonna be using this transfer transfer tape right here you can just put it over these and layer them so we got this first layer right here so what we're gonna do is we're good and we're just start with the white and then we'll put the gold let's go ahead and start that so I always do to keep bubbles out of it as I hold it like this what I do is I fold it down not fold it but I just basically make a un of it I guess and then I'll just lay it right on top so that we get that even surface on there so that we don't get any bubbles underneath there if you do don't worry about it you could just speed you them out with one of these right here this first one is gonna go on top of this black what I'm gonna do now is I'm gonna spray some water I like to use like a water bottle to spray this right here put good amount of water on it so that whenever we go to layer this thing on here we can slide it around just a little bit before it sticks so I got a good amount of water on there still gonna try to line it up the best I can but just in case as you can see with the water you'll come right off and we can move it around and we have to do the transfer tape and we're gonna line it up again I'm gonna go ahead and I'm gonna spray it one more time just like we did the white so that we can get in the center if you had a miss bottle or spray bottle whatever you want to use your preference if you want to or you could do registration marks on here to line up the registration marks down here on the bottom once you line up the registration marks on the bottom you can always just lay it flat I didn't do that this time but we'll just do it this way so alright so my camera had died whenever I was doing this earlier so here's the other piece right here as you can see it's the white background with the black New Orleans Saints on top so that's gonna be up for the other one and now we're gonna get ready to do these right here we will be layering the white the yellow and the black so the way I just showed you a minute ago is one way to do it with the with the spray bottle we're not gonna use a spray bottle this time let me show you another way to do it so if you look at these right here you'll see that I did put registration marks on here registration marks will help you line everything up all I did was whenever I cut this piece I changed them to black did this one white and that one yellow and the good thing about this is once you line these two dots up if you didn't move them around everything's gonna line up just perfect so the first thing we do to our layer the yellow on top of the white you you have to remember once you stick it from this paper to this paper right here it's gonna come off easily so if you put it on this background right here first what's gonna happen is when you try to peel it off the background is gonna come off and you're gonna have to try to sit there and pick it apart to leave this piece on there so always leave the base for last so we're gonna go with these two first so we're gonna go up this yellow like I said previously just gonna fold it in half put it down and then with this what I want to do is I want to cut just access because I don't want it sticking everywhere so I'm gonna trim this off real quick alright so now we got this one ready to go we're gonna layer it on top of this one what I want to do is I want to grab this right here so what I want to do right here is I want to grab where the registration marks and I want to lift it like this and roll it back and as you can see the registration marks are gonna stay right there alright so what we're gonna do now is we're gonna cut this piece I'm left-handed so switch it around so we're gonna cut that piece off and as you can see our registration marks are there by themselves so what we're gonna do now is we're gonna get this we're gonna put it on top of here and we're gonna lay it on to these register the white registration marks so let me do this i'ma turn it sideways so you can see and all we're gonna do is put this into place and then we are going to drop these registration marks on top of these other ones once you got it lined up the way you want it did you see casino white underneath that so we will be good to go right there so what I'm gonna do now is next thing so the next thing the next thing you're gonna do is you're gonna grab it you're gonna roll this up and all you're gonna do is pull this off and lay your sticker down and everything will line up perfectly because it's registered with these two dots right there all right so now we're gonna do the same thing with this one we are going to grab this roll it back we are then going to cut this piece off again once we got it off we got our lines our registration marks showing we're gonna line them up with this one so that once we stick this on here we just okay that's pretty good you can see a little bit of the black on the top but it's barely anything so that'll be okay so now what we're gonna do is the same process we're gonna come here we're gonna roll this off you want to make sure when you roll this up that all your sticker comes off and doesn't stay on here once you got it off we're just gonna come back slowly roll it on so that we don't create no bubbles under there and now we just made our sticker everything looks good and it's layered up and that will be our finished sticker for our tumblr using the registration mark method so like I showed you guys you can either do the registration mark method or you could do with the water either way you do it just still come out nice this way might be a little bit easier if you do it this way so alright so here we go we've got all of our New Orleans Saints we've got our LSU Tiger we got one for one side one for the other side and then we got this piece right here that I'm gonna put on the bottom of the tumbler I'm just gonna go down here and then this one right here that says who that is gonna go on the bottom of this one so we got everything together now we're gonna go ahead and start putting him on the tumblers alright so we're gonna start with this one first the first thing you want to do is you're gonna have some residue on this from whenever you sanded it so take make sure you get everything off and you get a nice clean surface what I'm using just some regular alcohol right here from Walmart and I'm just cleaning it up then I'm gonna let it dry a little bit my stick this one to the side while I do the same thing to this one just so that like I said we get a nice clean surface and we get all that residue from sanding it off of there and we're gonna start with this one first with this one right here we'll start with the big logo so she's gonna put it in place use my mouse to hold it I'm just gonna grab the image all right so now that I got a pilled up you just want to make sure that you put it straight so we're just gonna come here lay it right into place then use your squeegee just stick it on there all right so once you got out of place just make sure you have no bubbles everything looks good and go to the next one so since we got this we shouldn't go to the bottom pick up this sticker again it doesn't matter which way you put this cuz it all depends on how you hold it when you're drinking from it right so we're gonna put this one on here same thing [Laughter] all right so we got this one off now we're gonna go ahead like I said you want to make sure that your image here stays on the bottom so that whenever you line up this side it will sit right in the middle it looks good right there then again we're gonna remove this one keeping it we leave it like this it's easier for them to come off either way however you do it this is just the way I do it so then there's this piece this side on there flip it this way you'll see this side in the bottom alright so we got that one done now we're gonna do the LSU one so the first thing we're gonna go with is the tiger since it already has the sticky background so I see I did a contour cut whenever I did this without holes so that I can be the background thing we just later everything else on top first one now we're going to go with this Ellis to the name gotta take it off so there's our first one right there now we're gonna do this one this one's going to go on the bottom now for this last piece it's gonna come here and put our paper on there in the middle squeegee it down alright same thing we want to make sure that this picture is going to stay in the middle so what I'm going to do up there now we're gonna put this alone here if you remember we're just going to again fill it up making sure everything again making sure that the full image stays in place all right so here's that one we have the tiger cut out of Louisiana with Tigers on the bottom we have LSU on this side and then we have this on the bottom all right so here we are we've got the tumbler on here we're gonna already put some of this in here already put some of the resin here now I'm gonna pour the hardener in so with the hardener if you're not too sure on how much to add the instructions come with it and it tells you exactly what to put but if you're still iffy you don't have something to measure but just add a little bit more it's just gonna get harder faster and then you can go from there all right so we have both of them here you can have three cups if you want to mix them like I said before I'm just gonna take the one that one sticker than the other so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna take the resin and dump it into the hardener if you read the instructions it tells you to start slowly not to cause bubbles that is true but I have a heat gun so I'm not worried about bubbles because I can always get them out with the heat gun I can easily just pour this over it cuz I have a glove on I could just move it around other reason if you're watching this you haven't done tumblers before the reason I'm putting the resin on here now is to protect the sticker or the decals whenever you wash it so that's the reason we're putting a layer over the stickers now just so that it will protect it and they won't come off so if you don't put resin over it they will end up coming off when you wash them so this is a good thing to do to protect your tumbler this is the way I do it everybody has their own way of doing things this is just the way I do it so if you've got a different way that you do things I'm always willing to learn this is like maybe my fourth tumblers that I've done and as you can see I'm doing two right now so I haven't done many I just doing whenever people ask forum so if you got any comments or any suggestions even leave some comments down below let me know something that you do that might be easier I did do it which one a while back I could do a video on that came out really good with some guys I mean after that people were asking me when I was gonna do another video on tumblers and just never had good one again but here it is [Applause] [Music] working [Applause] you don't want to leave it in one place too long because and it's just gonna make it like water again and this is just gonna start dripping so just don't leave it in one place too long everything will be all right right so it's gonna be the same process the purple one so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna let this one dry I want whenever I built this I didn't build it with intentions of doing a lot of tumblers like I said these are the first time I've done two it's two at the same time so I didn't build this high enough with the spinner on there to do more than one at a time so instead of showing you guys the process of doing this one - we'll be back whenever both of these are dry both of them appeared so you can show you the final product all right so here we are like I said I didn't want to take you to the process of doing both of these but here's the first one right here how it came out came out good and then here's the bottom and then here's the other one right here this side and then also the bottom so these both came out really good also I post these on Instagram and I got another order for another one so let me show you what I'm doing right here all right so here's the next one that we're gonna be doing this one has that chunky glitter on top of it you guys remember these when I did these there was that fine glitter that we put on here so when it comes to doing the chunky glitter you always want to make sure you have enough epoxy to cover this because this glitter is stickier than the other one so I mixed up a bunch on this one right here so that we can do this so I'm not gonna show you the process on this one we're gonna go ahead and I'm gonna do it but I want to I just want to say thank you guys for the support so if you don't follow me on instagram make sure you follow me on instagram so that you can see stuff that is being worked on before the video comes out if I'm making a video on it because I don't always make videos because it's a long process but thank you guys for watching thin guys for subscribing and until next time keep pressing [Music]
