Making Slime With My Grandparents / JustJordan33

(playful music) - Hi guys it's Jordan and today I'm here with my nana and my grandpa and we're going to be making some slime. - Whoa. - So my grandparents have never made slime before, so this will be a first for both of them and I'm going to try to teach them the basics at first and I'm just going to let them go at it and make whatever type of slime that they want and I'll also make my own slime and at the end we'll see who has made the best slime. It's a kind of competition. - Okay. - Are you ready? - Yep. - Let's get started. Okay so the basics of slime is that you need your glue because however much glue you add is how much slime you'll get. So the white glue it will be easier to stretch and the clear glue will be more likely to rip, but both of them are really awesome to use. Shaving cream and hand soap makes your slime fluffier and super soft. This is activator. It will make your slime go from just like water to actual slime and goo. This is fake snow. You can make cloud cream slime with this. It's just a type of slime. I don't know how to describe it. We have glitter that you can add. Water will make your slime thinner. We also have these foam beads which just add more texture and we have clay here which I think we're all going to add because it has the color which we will be using today and we'll also make butter slime. Do you have any guesses what butter slime is? - Nope. - Okay, alright are you ready to make the slime? - Yep. - Okay I'm going to start out with just white glue first. That much. Okay I think I'm going to go ahead and add water next. Just because I don't know how strong the activator is, so I want the extra water to help just in case it's super strong. What type of slime are you going to make today? - I don't know. (laughter) - What about you? - I like the cloud. - Is this water? - Did you say something about - Oh yeah cloud cream? a fluffy cloud? - Yeah cloud cream. - Is this water? - Yes that's water. - How much do I put in? - I don't know. You put in however much. - Wow. - That's a lot of water. Yes. - Pass me the water. - Okay. - Grandpa's just like woo. - I have an idea. - Okay I think I'm going to add a bit of foaming hand soap. Just a tiny bit to make my slime a bit softer. And make it smell nice. (gentle music) - Yours is just water. (laughter) Uh oh. Don't eat it. Uh oh okay. Um. - So when can we add like glitter or this. Anytime? - Whenever you want. - Okay I'll get the soap and I'll make mine soft too. - Okay um Grandpa you're still mixing? (laughter) I think I'm going to add some of these charms. They're like sparkly and there's some stars, circles, ovals. They're really pretty. There's also hearts. I think this will just add some pizzazz to my slime. Yes. - I like this bright pink. - [Jordan] Nice. - [Grandpa] Ooo. - I think you're ready to move onto your next step. - Okay. What do I put anything else in it? - You can do whatever you want. You're on your own now. (laughs) - I need a purple. - Purple? - Purple? - Yeah right there. - The glitter. Grandpa's going for glitter. (playful music) I'm going to start activating my slime because I like how it looks right now. Tearing up the clay? My slime is starting to form. - Mine looks like marshmallows. - Ooo. Ooo yours is pretty. Nice. - What are you putting in yours? - I'm putting in the activator. - No what she's putting in? - Oh. - I'm put in. - Fake snow. - Some fake snow. - Is that what this is? - Then I have glitter. - This is foam beads. - [Grandpa] Mine's still. - The clay isn't mixing in? - What does his look like? - His looks like a soup. No you've got your own activator right there. - What? - That's your activator. - Oh. - Trying to steal my activator? - [Grandma] Gotta watch Grandpa. - [Jordan] Ooo. - I'm going to start putting in my activator. - Do I have to touch it? - At some point. Oh is yours starting to form? - I put the activator in. - Nice. - Oo. - It's looking like something's happening. This is my slime so far. Definitely not fully activated yet. I'm just kneading it with my hands. Oh wow yours activated very fast. - It did. - That's cool. - Did I maybe put too much in? - Uh uh. You want to activate it to the point where it doesn't stick to your hands like this. So your hands will be all clean by the time. - So if I put some hand soap on will it kind of help it be workable? - It's not sticking to my hands now. - It's really gooey. Jordan this is fun. Thanks for inviting us to come over and do slime with you. - Yes. - This was really fun. - I'm really excited to see your guys' final product. First time making slime. (laughs) Grandpa looks like he's having a grand old time. - I feel like Ghostbusters. I've been slimed. - Oh man. - In my one eyebrow. - You can be like Therma. Therma. With the unibrow. - Yeah the unibrow. - Look at Nan. - That's not Therma. - Whoa Nana. That's nice. It's like marbley. - Yes. - Awesome. - It's getting to stretch. - For your guys' first time making slime. - Yeah? - I must say this is pretty good. - Oh good. You're just not saying that are you? - My first time making slime ooh. Kind of crazy. - I don't know what to do with all this stretchy slime. I need two more hands. (laughs) Look at that look. Design. - Whoa. And there's so much glitter in it. Your slime is awesome. - This is Glubber. - Glubber? - Glubber. - Glubber. - I like when it pops. - Nice. - It's like chewing gum making it pop. - Yeah that's my favorite part is the slime bubbles. - We'll do a slime bubble competition at the end of this video. See who can make the best slime bubble. - It's like a bib. - Oh my it's like a shirt. - Will it not come off? - Oh it came off. That's good. (laughs) I thought it was going to stick. Usually whenever I put slime on my clothes it sticks. I was like oh. It scared me. - This is a slime. - I'm surprised it came off. - This is a slime. - I just look over and Nana's. Slime scone. (laughs) That was funny. (ghost noises) - Don't put it on your shirt dear. She said not to. - Oh. - Unless if you want to be. I mean you can have slime clothes. - Looks like a tongue sticking out. - Do you want to swap slimes? I'm going to add in my clay. This is what my slime looks like before. - This is clown face. - Oh that's pretty. - That's my slime before. - This is the clown face. - A clown face? So what would you name your slime so far? - This looks like a stocking. - A stocking? I could see that. Oh no. Okay I'm adding in the yellow. Yes. This is one of my favorite parts. Adding in the clay. It's a lot of mixing, but it makes your slime super nice. - It reminds me of taffy. - Yes. - Pulling taffy. - Hey there we go. - There's a stocking. - Is yours stocking slime? Is that the name of your slime? - Reminds me of the blob. - The blob? So Nana's is the blob slime. Grandpa's is stocking slime. Now I just have to come up with a name for mine. - It kind of looks like bacon. - Oh yeah it kind of does. Bacon slime. - Bacon slime. - Alright are you guys all done? - Yep we're done. - Okay let's do a slime bubble competition and then we'll let you guys vote whose slime you like the best. So how you make a slime bubble is you just lay out your slime. Oh no. Yours is kind of jiggly. And then you take two of the corners and you lift it up so it goes like this. And you just flop it over and pop it. And that's how you make a slime bubble. Hey you got it. That's better than nothing. (laughter) Close enough it's okay. - I'm having troubles. - It's tricky. - It is. You've got to practice. (yells) - You did it. Oh. - Almost. - Pokey pokey. - Got it, yes. So first let's make an Instagram swirl. So you just go like this. And then you swirl it. Like that. (laughs) - Oh. - Hey there you go. - That's just like she makes cinnamon rolls. (laughs) - And then for the clicky test you just go like this. And you just listen to the sound and see how clicky it is. - That's good. - Pretty clicky. You guys. You did really good. Good job guys. We should do slime fives. Ready? Slime fives. (laughs) Mix it all together. - Oh wow. - Ooo look at all these colors. - I like that. - Ooo yes. Nice. Oh no what? (yells) Nana's sliming me. Oh you're giving me a slime crown? Slime is on my head? - Swirl. - Nana slimed me. Here comes Grandpa's. (laughs) Well this is not what I expected to do today. (laughs) Well guys. - Beautiful. - Good job. Good job on slime. - It was fun. - A new fashion statement yes. - Yes. - Thank you guys. (laughs) - Oh look at that. - It's dripping everywhere.
