3D pen work suits me so very well It's hard to get anything in between the nooks To work comfortably, you need to behead Pikachu again Fill up any remaining parts and use a grinder to roughly sand the surface If you're going to use a grinder, make sure you don't do it at home Please, keep that in mind if you don't want to be scolded by your mom As you sand, you'll find holes like this As a matter of course, fill in the hole and then sand it again Use a soldering iron to smoothen up areas that the grinder cannot reach Roughly mark the contours of the face
and the essential features on the face, then switch over to a finer grinder and continue sanding Even with the finer grinder, small holes are inevitably created Gently rub over the holes with a soldering iron and they'll disappear without a trace From now on, you have to sand with your hands and craftsmanship, not with tools It takes more effort, but it is a necessary step for fine details Make its hands and feet at this stage, since they are prone to breakage during the early stage of work As you work, the molding may break or you may break the molding So I recommend that you make the parts that require detailed work, at the end Those parts also include the tail It's much more convenient to make the tail later and attach it to the sanded body By the way, did you know? Let's skip this question Now that we have positioned the mouth and eyes, let's shape them in detail Tear off the part where the mouth is located, add volume to the eyes, and sand them with sandpaper The next step is to cut the head in half Inside, we see the filament used as the skeleton Tear it all up and throw it away Make a base for the tongue to be placed inside the mouth that you drilled earlier Roughly smoothen it up, and place the tongue that you had made in advance Then reassemble the head into one Oh, wait Let me attach the LED wire first I used the flexible LED wire from last time This is a clear acrylic tube I bought from a stationery store I'll be putting the wire through it Acrylic can bend when heated I'll bend it to the desired shape to express the electricity that Pikachu emits Both ends of the acrylic tube should touch both sides of Pikachu's red cheeks I'm going to make a hole on Pikachu's cheeks in advance You can easily drill a hole by pressing it with heated metal Insert the acrylic tube into the holes If the tube fits well into the holes, turn on the light to make sure the wire is fine It works well Now I'm going to make a pedestal for the work to be mounted on I made the pedestal out of white oak I bought it last year, but I left it in the atelier
