Making Iranian friends in Shiraz! | VANLIFE TRAVEL VLOG 30

oh yeah say goodbye to this place for now but we probably will come back the same way we're going to just so maybe we come back here maybe we come back here cuz it's pretty nice here so now we're gonna cruise down to Shiraz alright [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] this is a party it's actually a great parking is very central we parked right next to a park and we have free water and actually all over Iran there is free drinkable water and free usable toilets there's diesel garbage and bathroom is over there wonderful and this part is Iranian style big full of fancy things and beautiful in the nighttime it just explodes like every person is coming here like we have a volleyball team we have a park or team whether BMX team we have another bicycle team whoever pingas team yeah in 1900 kinds of themes and they're really really really good Eric it is really good and I think I think it's cool to say about Iranian culture is that you know the fact that they you eat on a blanket on the floor and the park picnic just fits so good into that so they're so good at going out in parks and having picnic putting out the blanket because that's how they eat every day so they're super good at picnicking here toilet break I forgot to say a super important thing turkey was also the border between Asia and Europe you know but it was also the border between two normal well the sitting toilet and the squatty potty so in Turkey actually everywhere there was you could choose in all gas stations and stuff they had both squatty potty and normal toilet I ran scored upon the only eastward on interesting actually you know what you don't use toilet paper here you have like a who's with water yeah who's yourself you use water under there but I definitely prefer the squatty potty every time in public toilets because you never have to sit on the growth thing you know you just squat over it which is perfect all right go let's walk in Chile's [Music] [Music] [Music] so it's 6 a.m. and the park is coming to life everyone is in a good mood on the evening's here and us it's very very nice babe Oster get out of my way get out of my way all right so we're going to meet our crazy Tae Kwon Do friends no parkour gymnastics they do like tumbling and pretty good at that stuff push me exercise too much lately some stupid sore so did you see how much my baby baby [Music] now I'm pirating it did it occur talk to me yeah so now we've had fun tomorrow we will wake up early to look at the cool mosque lights good night good morning we tried to wake up earlier today to enter the mosque and so did a lot of tourists and this is what they came to see - ready and this thank you it's in the morning you're friends with it Phyllis entire room it's pretty cool now it feels tickly [Music] there's kind of a touristy picture hysteria going on here pretty intense everybody wants to perfect picture but everybody's in each other's photos I think it's it's actually ever a peaceful beautiful room actually [Music] just for information it I think it would be okay to come here later today to it might be even better actually just skipped a story about the fancy ways and just go where for the mosque because it's colored windows but the mosaic itself is stopping Vanessa but too intense for me squee there's so much people peace an Iranian omelet oh this is good I'm super clean look at this Thank You lovely now our dinner yeah this is the rice boiled rice with tomato this is the especial food in Iranian with salad with she rides a salad Keuka the cheap cucumber and tomatoes and onion and we solve it in yes yes bit meaner yes this is kind of salad with that made with chicken potatoes carrots and ketchup and it's very powerful okay it's very powerful and usually I eat it after gym this is the bread you know and this is a yogurt yes yeah [Music] yes which me milk the cow genis aunty [Music] good morning we slept over here to another sleepover party they do this and after a wonderful night with our friends time to be tourists again time to be tourists so we are at Persepolis which is a must-see outside Shiraz it's the old capital of the old Persia 500 BC City no that was the house of the dude and this place was built just to show off the glory of the Persian Empire basically so this is the cool gate it has two garden bulls with eagle wings and their face was a bearded man actually an obsessed thing in three languages there was common at that time Persian Babylon I'm not reading so anyway this is the epic gate that was build by circuses circuses I think that's cool not because I like 300 surfaces is the is the bad guy in 300 yeah 300 are fighting searches and searches propellers that suits us yeah he was the person yeah why did they make person the bad guys we don't know the 300 might have been the bank guys okay this is epic this is vandalism [Music] it's a griffon apparently this guy was found here but he was actually never used on a colleague now it's the symbol for the Iranian airline [Music] a lot of well-kept stuff [Music] firstly on the clothes and what I look sure they all look different tribes as you can see the guys are holding hands and they're walking which gifts to the emperor cousin you used to exchange gifts apparently you still do and holding hands in Iran is very common that guys do that it just means that they are friends but they used to do it very long time at all [Music] that was too private and arias pretty epic it was apparently the walls were so polish do can like reflect yourself in them it was yeah and that makes sense like probably the cool places at this time was like they obviously polished a rock so the pillars and everything they were just shiny and nice they're scraped off all this crazy hand scraped nice turn nice city so that was tough to Jamshid or also called particle so now we gonna drive to our favorite place good mountains in time we're into it more and then continue to just and see finally see and be ingested good plan but this place was super impressive and all the tourists go here the sick thing about this place is just imagine how these planets try to imagine how it is Pallister looked like in the details and all those all the art is much more well-kept than any Greek stuff I've seen that first alright let's go back to nature let's move [Music]
