Making BIG Changes (luxury geodesic dome)

it's time to change things up we last saw you when we were living out of this rig in Costa Rica this experience made us rethink our plans just a little bit maybe we don't need a bigger van maybe we don't need more space since then we have spent loads of quality time with our friends and family over the holidays and this week it's time to experience this geodesic dome in the woods to wind down a little bit and have some very important conversations all right all right we are getting close to our grand location we stopped at the LCBO which if you're from Ontario you know this is where we get our wine um because you can't go glamping without some wine that's not true you don't have to drink wine I'm so glad I turned the camera on after the holidays and hanging out with friends and family we went right back to work working for the man grinding it out working for who the man who's the man you know the man they'll know what I'm talking about so having a quick uh one night getaway is not too shabby we can find it can we get out of this parking lot somehow and we've also never done anything like this I'm excited on a more serious note it's 20 23 and we don't look very serious it has been almost a year since we started this channel isn't that crazy we posted our first video last February we have no idea know what to do with this camera do we cue to a quick year go [Music] running to drive here and we feel like we are so far out of the city it's so quiet we're in nature hanging out together and guess what's on the menu my favorite thing who knows what it is what's your favorite paste and a little bit of tomato sauce and then we're gonna put some creamer in there we love this oat creamer where you could just use regular cream and we're gonna make a saucy sauce foreign [Music] [Music] things in life so good I could actually have this like we should try and see how many meals in a row I could have this board and see if I would get sick of it Vlog idea pasta for 100 days for every now washing dishes in this thing who's uh really making me miss Billy we should tell you what we're doing with that I remember the last time we spoke to you about our van we told you we were selling it well we've had a little bit of a change of plans shall we call it we'll clean some dishes and we'll tell you in a minute I think our time in Costa Rica living out of probably the tiniest accommodation you could have made us realize that maybe we don't need a bigger van maybe we don't need more space I think really like that is obviously the underlying but the main thing is that if we were to sell and buy and build there's no way we'd be getting back on the road for at least another year we love our van so much you know yeah like so happy and everything yeah like when I look back on how we felt when we were in Mexico like I never wanted more I was just so happy with what we had in that band there was like a few things and those are the things will change so basically we're gonna take this time to work on the upgrades work out work work and then and then hit the road Jack and don't you come back as soon as we get back on the road we will be back to posting weekly bids winter in the past few years for two reasons I'd say one is Bowie yeah I love you he loves the snow which by the way he is with his auntie and uncle right now we are going back there today so you'll you'll see him soon so of course we're gonna do upgrades to the van and we do have something planned for hopefully the spring but I also really want to show you some Canadian winter activities so anyway get ready for a whole series of winter fun oh gosh okay so for breakfast we pre-made some overnight oats our fave breakfast is ready delicious I could probably make a full one hour documentary of clips of Maddie eating and going [Applause] it's my favorite thing guys I just love eating you know especially when it's healthy all right we've had a nice restful time here we gotta get back lots of like dog walkers that come with like 15 dogs each so it's just a party wait also another hilarious thing is I guess a lot of people that came to the channel just through the Costa Rica series didn't think we had a dog because but we didn't come with us on that trip and so a lot of people commented you should get a dog you'd really love having a dog and then someone else replied saying they actually do have a dog his name's Bowie that thing makes me happier than when people talk to each other in the comments section it's so amazing we hope that you are all having a wonderful start to
