For this Chopper challenge I chose a truck spring, because I went back to my beginnings, like in the first videos on the channel, when I used this steel, and also because I was looking for a considerable thickness. I decided to leave it pitted because some surface craters were too deep and would have removed a few millimeters of thickness. I didn't want that for this job. While this is not one of the biggest knives I've ever made, it is the heaviest and most blunt. I did not add details to the grip because it is a focused tool for impact work. The more components the handle has, the easier it is for the pieces to come loose, at least for its intended use. But the wood I used makes up for it, I don't really know what it is, but I understand that it is called tiger skin, due to the small relationship of the texture. There are woods that are much more noticeable. I have riveted brass pieces because I wanted to give it some distinction. Hopefully this video will be useful or have entertained you, as always I will leave all the specifications, tools and the design in the description. I really appreciate the view and until the next video. Link to vote in the description and comment pinned.
