Maglula UpLULA Review

hey guys Jeremy here attack fix so I don't know about you guys but my least favorite part of golden to the range is reloading you're sitting there at the bench reload new rounds breaking your thumbs listening to everyone behind you having all the fun there's no boom now for the past couple years I've been using a real loader that I really like so I wanted to share that with you today [Music] alright guys so we're back up top here on the bench and this is the up Lula from mag Lula it's a universal pistol mag loader and unloader the really good thing about this is being universal it loads and unloads virtually all nine-millimeter magazines and up to 45 ACP magazines that are single and double stack it'll even load and unload most 380 acp single and double stack magazines with an adapter which I'll show you in just a minute mag Lula also sells a host of other loader and unloaders including ones for the ak-47 the AR platform they even have a dedicated 22 to 380 mag loader and unloader and basically it takes up some of the smaller 380s that don't quite fit in this one all the way down to 22 long-rifle and a buddy of mine that owns one has even said that a lot of his 17 HMR mags will load in that one as well so it's pretty versatile now being that this one is going to go from 9 millimeter to 45 acp you're gonna be able to load most all magazines that are 9 millimeter Luger 357 sig 10 mil 40 caliber and 45 ACP as well as a few other less-common rounds that are in between those now since this is made primarily of polymer it's very lightweight that only weigh 66 grams are about 2.3 ounces so it's great to throw in a range bag or into your ammo container and this is really durable I've owned this one this actually exact one for about 2 years now and I've beat it around carried it in my range bags back and forth to the range and on road trips to go down door ranges and this has held up well other than a couple surface scratches you see from the reciprocating action here it's it's held up extremely well it looks virtually brand-new so I've been very happy with this one now if you're curious if the pistols that you own are gonna fit in this you can go to mag Lula's website I'll go ahead and put a link to that down in the description not only do they have on their website a list of most compatible mags this is going to work with but they also have a list of magazine show that they don't work so that's also going to be helpful for you now there is one thing that you want to note about this because this is such a popular Magalona and unloader there are a lot of counterfeits out there the men Louisville website specifically lists Amazon and eBay as being a particularly high amount of those counterfeits now the link that you'll see down in the description to purchase this if you want to do that that is an Amazon link I have sourced this particular seller and they are genuine mags I went ahead and when I purchased this a couple years ago the mag glue the website lists what the packaging should look like and it says that you can email them to confirm that it is genuine and this is what your package should look like if you've purchased a genuine mag Lulla Lulla product it should have this flexible package and then this particular insert with all the company's info so this is one of the ways you're going to know that you have a genuine product I've heard of my purchase one of these for his pistols and it came in basically a ziploc bag with a little cardboard literature at the top those are definitely counterfeit I've never seen a genuine mag glue of a product come packaged that way I've only ever really seen them in packages very similar to this so definitely if you're at all unsure about the source don't buy from there there are several retailers that mag Lewis suggests buying from including Academy Brownells Midway USA Cabela's Bass Pro dick Sports Gander outdoors Turner's cheaper than dirt and shop Roger those are some of their official partners that they have and that they sell through so just something to keep in mind on that now as far as for 1911's they do sell this a little-bitty insert here and this thing does line up great with just about every 1911 mag that i've tested this works well with wilson springfield bags sig mags i really haven't found in 1911 magnet this one won't work with I mostly shoot wilson combat mags so that's the one that I have most experience with and this works flawlessly and the operation on this is pretty darn easy basically you're just going to take your mag I've got a Glock mags here and you're going to slide this right over the top of your magazine and you want to make sure that the front of the follower lines up with this little black lip in there because this is what pushes down on your follower and basically you'll slide it down pinch shut and then push down to push down your follower and then into your magazine the bullets just drop in and then you release and pull up then you can squeeze push down again and just drop mag is in super simple this really does just save so much time at the range not only is it a big time-saver but your thumbs will really thank you this this really does take the pain out of reloading your mags now like I said this magazine loader is very versatile even the smaller mags like the Sig p3 65 mag here it works just as well with these as with full size mags you can just drop your ammo in all day and it is really just a piece of cake to load now if you do want to load something that's a single stack or a 1911 a lot of single stacks will work with this without any kind of adapter but some of the really narrow ones and 1911 mags you might want to invest in this and then your magazine slides in just like before now the purpose of this is basically to keep everything in line one of the cool things about this loader is it is self centering so when you've got a thinner mag like a 1911 it has a tendency to wobble if you don't have this adapter it's still usable it's just it's a lot harder to get your magazine loaded but you can see with the insert this just it's just as easy as any double stack magazine expensive you know I've seen some of the bench style loaders where you you line up all your ammo and then you shove it in mag Ulua makes a couple of these they are quite pricey they're very good and they're much quicker to use than these but they can get a little costly the mag Lulla Lulla though is very inexpensive I picked this up on Amazon when I picked it up it was about $30.00 now you can commonly find these for between twenty and twenty-five dollars so they have come down just a little bit and really honestly after the first few times I used this at the range I had more than made up you know in just in time savings loading my mag so this is very very much worth your money to invest in now as far as magaz I've personally tested this in I own a couple Glocks I own the 1911 I own a Sig P 3 65 all of them work flawlessly with this reloader I've also tested this on a couple friends magazine own n mm P's the Springfield XD series Baretta's and Taurus beretta clones all of them work flawlessly I've yet to find a magazine with the exception of one cz that didn't work alright guys that's the mag Lulla Lulla you know I think this is a really great option for you guys to save your thumbs when you're out there reloading and for just a little over 20 bucks this is a great value it saves tons of time and really it saves those thumbs so if you like this or if you like the
