i'm madison beer and this is the playlist of my life eventually by tame impala tame impala is arguably my favorite band at this very moment there's parts that it's loud and it's crazy and there's parts that it's low-key and it's chill [Music] one of my favorite lyrics from it is wish I could turn you back into a stranger which I love because there are many people that I wish I could turn back into strangers for sure I just think they're amazing and it makes me feel some type of way and it's my go-to driving song I'd say for sure a [Music] teenagers romance by Ricky Nelson I think it's one of the prettiest songs I've ever heard there's multiple videos of him performing this song but there's two in particular that I love and in both of the videos he's just playing the guitar [Music] and he looks completely emotionless which I absolutely love and I think it's kind of weirdly sexy so I fell in love with him when I watched that for sure I play it almost every time I get into the car because I love it but also because it's the first song on my iTunes thing because it has an A at the start of it [Music] Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen something that a lot of people don't know is that the song is actually about him literally dying and the lyrics are really beautiful and emotional if you really really listen closely to them I watched a video the other day of him performing it live and I just started crying because it was just like to know that you're dying and to be able to get up there and sing those lyrics it's just I think so powerful and my favorite part of the whole song is at the very end there's this kind of breakdown with this I don't even know how to explain the sound but it sounds a little electronic and like I said I love electronic music so when it has those little moments in it I love that [Music] apricot princess by Rex in Orange County I was in my bed in Long Island on vacation with my family well not vacation they were home vacation for me and my best friend texted me the song out of nowhere [Music] [Applause] and was like hey I've been listening to this song a lot and I just wanted you to know if I could write a song about you this would be it and girl I was melting I was dying I was like oh my god did my best friend just admit his love for me what's going on I was freaking out and then it was like I want to show her the world or some of the lyrics it's just it was so cute the greatest view by silverchair when I was younger I was in a program called school of rock after school I would go and I would literally just learn really incredible classic rock songs that obviously I didn't know them whatsoever and this was the song they gave to me to sing at my like first recital show [Applause] this meeting has definitely evolved for me over time because when it was when I was younger I had no real connection to it lyrics didn't really mean anything to me the song meant more to me but now that I've gotten older and have had relationships that have ended it can mean so many things I've got the greatest view from here because you have eyes for them and you love them but it's also like let's say someone's passed away or you don't see somebody anymore and they're out of your life it's kind of like I still feel like they're watching over me and that they're still with me every day so the meaning changes for me all the time when you were made by the growlers it is about divorced parents but it speaks on divorced parents and a completely different life and I think most people speak about it [Music] it's basically talking about how they were in love when you were made when my parents about divorced I was super young so I kind of don't really even remember them ever being together at any point with my friends that are my age or older it's really been difficult because you know they're gonna have to adjust this whole new lifestyle means a lot to me that other people out there can relate to how I've felt at times my next song is nadie bees by net Hakeem so I've always had a weird obsession with bees even when I was a little kid this song when I came out me and my friend were like there's no way he just put a song out called needy bees we actually have bee tattoos one of the lyrics from the song is I live inside of you to find what you're looking for when you're in a relationship you're like a part of a person kind of like a half of a whole he's kind of saying that he's gonna figure out what this person wants and you know what you're looking for just this really awesome arrangement I love this song and when I saw the title I was like there's no way that he put a song out called needy bees in my life by the Beatles so a reason this song is so important to me is that my dad and I were driving in LA one time and we had been fighting a lot that past week and then we played this song in the car [Music] and we both just got really emotional and started crying which my dad and I don't really do a lot we're not very like sappy with each other it was a really sweet moment and it's a moment that I'll pause I remember my whole life they're just amazing and I love every song ever this was my playlist of my life which is probably a hundred thousand songs longer than this but these are my favorites right now thanks for watching now we're good
