welcome back to the memes i am not the expert today we're playing some mad no 8 superstar mode as you can tell i'm not using face cam in this one just didn't feel like it today i don't even own the new mans just because they're kind of stale and boring to me but these older games especially in the superstar modes are just extremely fun i wish they would go back to it it's very simplistic but that's kind of what you want i just want the football aspects i don't want the weird cut scenes that they kind of do in the new ones but i feel like what's gonna be the most fun for me of course is being a fullback it's so on brand we are here to make fullbacks great again they don't get enough love in today's nfl and no surprise we're gonna be using the legend tomadamo from the ugf days look at that beautiful face just how i remember them i must say the arms are absolutely jacked on these character models like even at the lowest setting those mans you can tell pumping some iron man this game is so old they don't even have nikes it's just like all reeboks and maybe it's because i don't have good sponsors or something i'm not sure do we give them a visor though like those look so clean if the sun blasts off that it's gonna blind the defense what i like about these older games is when you're getting your ratings it's not just like determined by a button press you actually have to go through the drills to determine how good you are at each attribute i suppose you do choose an archetype so there's only so much you can be blocking is what we're going to be doing the most but that just sounds not as fun to me so we're going to try the balance and see how we do at everything all right let's give it a go we're not a scat back so i'm not expecting like a 4 4 or anything but maybe about the 4 6 at the top end so let's see how we do you gotta flick the sticks back in these old games and lean yep four six seven that's pretty much what i expected all right now same thing for the bench press we got to use these right sticks pump it out see we got four keep repping it out make sure we're getting our stamina back oh yeah we're doing well so far can we get double digits we're killing it damn we're gonna hit 20. tomadamo is huge this might be the best i've ever done so far 26. yep that's gonna be it man that's a new high for me it helps when he got tomadamo an absolute beast and this is gonna be nice at fullback we actually get to do the running back drills i'm not sure if they're gonna play me at running back a lot oh they're already snapping it i wasn't ready for that but look at tom go show him tom i don't know who's my lead blocker right now but we're juking around folks brian erlack of tackling me i feel like tom should be able to run through these guys oh my god dude i have to go against brian erlacker this man is impossible oh yeah we'll burst him with the speed there you go first touchdown we got 23 seconds cut back on him a little bit op but you know it is the drill just keep doing that keep cutting and hit the spin move oh we got both the wrinkles that was exceptional maybe tom adams should be starting running back he's got some good speed on him hit him with it again or run him over wow so we have 90 speed 96 acceleration got 68 catching that's gonna be difficult got 85 carrying though so don't expect me to fumble 87 trucking 93 elusiveness 95 ball carrier vision spin and juke are fantastic solid route running spectacular catch catching traffic i didn't really look at my blocking oh yeah my blocking is pretty bad and i'm a fullback so i'm gonna be trying to block a lot so we're gonna have to try and upgrade that and we gotta work on the catching catching looks pretty rough but everything else man i like they're starting me off pretty high 90 speed as a rookie 76 overall now that we got our ratings it's time to go through the nfl draft process see which teams are interested in us our first order of business looks like they're going to interview us ace long drive what is your favorite night before the game meal i like to eat at home by myself maybe grilled chicken or pork chops sounds very lonely something fast pizza or a best burger yeah we're gonna go with some fast food what other position do you wish you could play quarterback no linebacker oh yeah i feel like that's on par for him wide receiver he got pretty good hands well we just saw that you don't so that's not accurate linebacker would be good for him what jersey do you most want or already have in your closet cedric benson no michael vick that star be recognized as one of the best ever yeah that's probably the most accurate or winning super bowl well we're going to do all those but definitely want people to know that tom is the goat i think one of our three individual workouts here oh it's for the saints that'd be pretty sweet right now it'd be like a special teams player for him takes five total points to upgrade hands and it only takes two to do the run block so should probably focus on the run blocking one i'm telling you we're going to make tom adama the goat he's going to be exceptional everything on the field this is going to be really tough i got like a 40 run block rating all right we got tom out here i just held that guy got a couple of yards i'm looking a little rough on my first rep oh gosh i'm i was not ready who called to me 25 so if 20 plus 24 but 49 if sean alexander scores one fantasy football point every five yards rushed how many points is a 75-yard rush worth oh gosh math this is the pain i think he's gonna have 15 points what chipper is to wood as blender okay yeah the wood chipper is chipping the wood so i'm gonna say the blender is blending food if a dining room set has a table and four chairs and both wearing number 40. dudes inspiration michael stud who's just a massive human being absolutely jacked oh my gosh we have not missed a touchdown yet this is just unreal i i am giddy like this is the best possible combine scenario we could have asked for oh look at tom go look he's trying to impress his idol we are killing it oh no double jukes in this one we don't need it okay the first time we haven't scored a touchdown yet now we're looking rough got a little too cocky good stuff see that juke for me see where did madden go wrong like this is just it's so simple yet it's just so much fun oh tom breaking tackles there's no way they're going to catch up to them either 45 000 points did they lower the difficulty on me or what that was an insane combine doesn't matter we botched the 40 yard dash the freaking 43 reps on the bench press and then we got a killer 45 000 points on the running back challenge i tell you what the bucks like you already have mike alstock but add me to the
