live from las vegas nevada the 1991 miss universe pageant starring 73 of the most beautiful women in the world [Music] good evening my name is bona groot miss universe 1990. tonight we're in the most glittering city in the world las vegas and down there at the aladdin theater 73 of the world's most beautiful women are about to make an entrance to compete for my crown who will the newest universe be and how will we choose her you'll see it all live the next two hours so let's begin miss mexico [Music] as we turn to the monitor you can see the swimsuit category was led by miss jamaica followed by curacao in france in interview competition miss brazil out in front followed by the ussr and mexico and evening gown was taken by mexico once again competing strongly chile and the ussr the final name of semifinalists is miss mexico [Applause] ladies and gentlemen the 10th semi-finalist for the title of miss universe 1991. [Applause] miss mexico well i've been a businessman for three years and uh homeboy since well since i can't remember and but i think growing up with four brothers it's normal to to like wear jeans and ride horses but on the other hand i really enjoy being a girl [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] and that completes our swimsuit competition for miss universe 1991.
