Low Water STEELHEAD Fishing INSANITY!! (They're STACKED!)

Nick Popov yes sir but unfortunately I had to make one cast a little earlier just to see if there's a fish around and as you can see by my rod dancin here I got a little curly on what we're doing unfortunately today our buddy ace got wasn't feeling too well from yesterday shenanigans so he's gonna miss out on this little fishery hunt by the looks of it I think we're gonna have I think it's gonna be a good a few steelhead here but let's go ahead and get this one brought in alright guys so the plan is yeah cam and pop ups just got the fish in the net the plan is what we're gonna do today is try to catch some fish and then go back meet up with ace and do a little cook-off we're gonna have Jordan cook a steelhead ace is gonna cook a steel and we're gonna do a little taste test and see well my theory didn't work though I was the last guy to hook one but I think it might be the smallest what a pretty little fish nice Oh Gromit surprise one no sea lice tail no I'll take her beauty the jig add chunky goodness right there oh gosh it's over yes it looked great that was I got a really good cast in there too like that it went down that line perfect see now it's all boiling in there that was a first cast without white worm - all right oh oh oh my god what was that what was that Lomo how was that did you guys see that definitely all oh my god they just did something sneaky I don't know if it's going work I'm on the ground boy oh I got something free out of there sorry you're gonna rat me but I got a big stick or something out of there Cameron shut up what they started dragging it through the hole my fish went in there Cameron way to go I locked up I was dragging it out it was just well I'd say I mean honestly if you think about it that that's about 20 pounds I mean that's a good one that might be that thing we drag on all the time ya know like there you go I'm just being team play right now team player I didn't I missed him I missed him I missed them you know what that miss right dark brown there he is he's biting right now oh yeah yes God I did I did you see that you know I was trying to dodge it I catch up to it I was letting you pull your stock I couldn't I was dove we're right pretty little hatchery fish what somebody else a hatchery fish this guy go and let someone else play with them Oh little guy little Missy alright guys here we are another beautiful wild steelhead so if you see this little mark right here with that parasite in it it's basically from the sea lions so this fish has been sitting out in the estuary and we got lots of sea lions out there and it's a serious problem we I mean last year we had almost every fish we caught had some sort of sea lion mark or teeth marks or scratching some of the big while - horribly injured which obviously they still made it to survive and soak on this one look at the gash in that one it's just the ones you see though you know we don't see so they don't get fat for fishing no no at all and then you can see it's got it over here it's all scarred up - but it's kind of crazy but it's a problem that needs to be dealt with beautiful fish ready Sean yeah hold on I got him wait wait wait get in there we've got this rod sitting up eight feet of leader hanging off my bobber oh wait that was me [Laughter] here's my rod is just sitting in the water alright guys make sure this is nice and clean I just wanted to rinse the saw what a mess quitting did well that was fun we may put us on some fish but you know the river was kind of crowded today in the waters low so there's only like so many places you know we could fish so we just kind of got down and found a spot and found a couple fish laying in here and just decided to sit on a let a lot of the guys go by I mean the end of the day you don't want to like keep bumping into people going down the river so you just we kind of found some water to fish and we had a couple schools moved through so we were pretty lucky for that but I think we're gonna fish our way out and you know you guys as always if you guys like to see that steelhead beat down be sure to give this a comment alike tell us what you guys like to see more of these videos and who d thinks gonna win the cook-off between ace and Jorden little later on they're gonna cast right on the edge of that slow watery up we want to keep it semi in the I mean in the current but dude it is windy on the corner same depth or deeper it looks like it's getting deeper it's gonna get a little deeper but yeah until we get like before well we're gonna see this Bend right here they should be sitting right up here at the top of this flat right on the corner down to the light tree their big pop-up said this would be a fish I heard him say it hold on oh my gosh we were literally talking about hooking a fish like five feet from the side of the boat is I just lost my bobber behind your rib boat right it started really oh let's talk about getting a 25 pounder next yeah seriously [Music] no he's trying to go into that dragged out of there [Music] that was so sick that was a craziest thing ever I can't get to my flows like it's nuts dude that's awesome good job three feet off the front of the boat we're talking about oh I had a fish crab a bobber like three feet from my wrap the other day Marlins Barbara June takes off and drills this fish mine real nice job dude another nice hatchery fish there's the C lies with pills all right guys it's been a freaking amazing day I don't think we could have asked for a better day I really wish ace could have been here sorry you couldn't be here buddy but hopefully you're back at the at the lodge at you're feeling better we're gonna go cook some steel hood let's see what happens [Music] all right everyone we're getting to the end of the day cam refuses to give up he's still in the background we fished daylight till dark literally today we were up at 4:15 a.m. this morning super super unfortunate the ACE got sick he's actually still in his room sick he thinks he ate something bad we're not really sure we're all actually kind of scared to go in we actually have him on corn corn we hope he's all right but we're gonna have to cancel the cook-off because ace is sick and we fish till it was almost dark so we're gonna have to make you guys tune into another one of those so make sure if you don't have that bail
