LOUDEST C8 Corvette Exhaust I've ever heard! ArmyTrix SOUND is INSANE!

all right guys this is exciting this is gonna be the first time it's fired up in over two weeks now or right around two weeks and we'll see how she sounds [Music] hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome back to brink of speed today i am super excited because we're finally gonna get the exhaust installed and you guys are gonna get to hear this amazing armytrix exhaust which by the way this am here oh wow good man hugh good to see you you too brother well we're ready to finish this up i think we are all right let me let me set some stuff up and we'll get going so ladies and gentlemen right now keith is getting ready to install the valves onto the aftermarket exhaust here so he's got to install those on both sides here and then these on both sides all right so both the afm valves are installed now oh yeah very cool let's look at this one nice so they're in the open position right now and go ahead and close them see that's open oh okay there we go there's clothes yep so that should be open yep closed awesome those have little holes in them yeah dude that's cool create the four cylinder of that okay so because it requires so much back pressure so when you kill four cylinders then it's got an action looking for that amount of flow okay that runs through the system makes sense so when that's not there of course you got open flow and it detects that right guess what check engine light yeah and i personally wish that afm was not even a thing that i could eliminate it all together because i hate it when it goes into four-cylinder mode so i drive my car in manual mode so it doesn't ever go into four-cylinder mode all right so now he's installing the valve actuator that does the dual mode and so he was explaining how this works the exhaust comes in through here and it goes down here and if this is open then it's just a straight pipe out to here if it's closed it re-routes and comes back here and into the muffler and then out here and around and out this pipe [Applause] [Music] all right so they're all installed now so armytrix has done what they can to try and fool the system make it think that this is a stock exhaust we're still unsure if it's gonna throw a check engine light it could there hasn't been a single c8 exhaust out there yet that hasn't so we'll see what happens maybe omnitrix will be the first we'll see so check it out ladies and gentlemen this is the tip unwrapped so you guys hopefully we'll be able to see this really good i'm gonna get directly under a light so it's better lighting for it but i love the blue tip it's really pretty real quick you guys were wondering what stalled us from being able to complete the install last time i was here it was these valves right here that stopped this this is the back pressure valve and it looks completely different right here than the uh dual mode valve and so when army tricks sent us the parts the parts didn't fit this valve they only fit the dual mode valve so we had to order from gm these but the dual mode side and so that way we would have four that looked like the dual mode so now we have them they're on the car and they're gonna function correctly this looks so cool they put their little armytrix logo and name there i don't know why that says cz6 and then c8 and there's the part number and then chevrolet corvette c8 so the other exhaust that he's installed have been in pieces which he said was not the easiest thing in the world to do this one is all one piece so it's much easier to line up and get into place there's a little bit of a preview of how that's going to look [Music] keith has his huge extension ratchet set here so he can reach all the way up in there this is the easiest way to do it [Music] he's got to reach way up to those right there those right there the two i'm going to get from the top and the other one i'll get one yeah okay this is super exciting guys it's starting to come together this is how it looks so far on there just need the tips keith is doing an excellent job as usual i'm not lying to people whatever man you're the best in the dfw i just try to do it right the first time that's right measure twice cut once sometimes you got to mention three or four yeah exactly all right keith what are you doing right now [Music] you can't film this oh i can't oh this is what you were talking about oh all right all right i'm not allowed to film this he's he's uh working with gm right now what he's doing is just making sure that everything uh works properly when we turn the car on so i'll check back in with truth the tips are on it's ready to go keith's gonna start it and give us some rev ups holy crap that sounds amazing holy cow dude wow could you hear that did you hear that you need to go back there and hear that i could see you in the mirror it was hilarious i was like whoa this is amazing fogging up my camera lens so that's what it sounds like idle sounds great it's uh better than i actually expected so i'm super happy good so thank you to this guy right here keith he did an excellent job as usual thank you very much man welcome back i appreciate it awesome corvette world does an awesome dude did you hear it i did i heard her all the way in the next room oh my god this sounds amazing corvette world does an excellent job on not only selling you cars but also fixing your cars [Music] that's amazing i was like holy cow i'm never going to get used to that figure last week you had that lava with that zeo i know man all right ladies and gentlemen obviously i'm on my way home from corvette world uh i gotta tell you i'm gonna show you how this sounds on the inside so far but i am thrilled to death with this exhaust it is so freaking awesome i mean it has a different sound than any exhaust i've ever heard on any car it has a unique sound our matrix did something uh different than any other company with this exhaust so just so you know this is a one of one exhaust they have not started production on this exhaust for c8 yet we have to get this thing perfect on my car and once it's perfect on my car then people will be able to purchase it they will start making mass you know they will start mass producing it so i'm super excited about this i'm so happy that i've been able to partner up with army tricks and get this thing right for them i am going to be giving them my feedback on what i think needs to be changed and once we get those changes starting to be implemented then i'll report back to you guys and let you know exactly what they are but i'll i'll just give you kind of a hint right now uh my check engine light is on and the valves are not functioning the way that they're supposed to be functioning on the right side so uh that's all i'm gonna say for now but it's drivable it sounds amazing and i'm gonna let you hear this right [Music] now wow it sounds so good guys it sounds so good wow i love it let's do this i hope you guys can hear that i really do
