ceremonial sword Yes you heard that correctly King George IV once bestowed this sword upon the third Duke of North umberland whose family later repurposed its diamonds into the Exquisite Tiara we know today this Tiara renowned for its prominent strawberry Leaf motifs resembling a Spanish ducal Coronet was a prominent fixture in the collection of Helen Percy the eth Duchess of Northumberland serving as the Mistress of the robes to the queen mother she adorned it at numerous prestigious events including the coronations of King George V 6 and Queen Elizabeth II unfortunately this Unique Piece met a tragic fate in 1963 it was stolen from The Dowager Duchess Helen Percy's car shortly after she retrieved it from the bank and it has remained lost to history ever since Queen Sophia's Diamond and Pearl Tiara princess Christina of Sweden one of King Carl V 16th gustaf's sisters possessed a unique Tiara crafted by rib hugin using old cut diamonds and small pearls this petite yet significant diadem originated from Queen Sophia of Sweden and Norway the wife of Oscar II upon her passing Sophia bequeathed The Tiara to her granddaughter Elsa cedrin later Elsa returned the Tiara to the Royal Family by gifting it to her goddaughter princess Christina on her 18th birthday as an active participant in Royal events princess Christina frequently adorned herself with Queen Sophia's Tiara along with other pieces Lon from the Royal collection these Treasures were securely stored in a safe at her residence near the Royal Palace however in late May 2012 they were discovered missing subsequent distinctive Sunburst appearance and Central Flur de Lee Motif was gifted by Queen Isabella II of Spain to infanta Maria de laaz for her 1883 marriage to Prince Ludwig Ferdinand of Bavaria crafted from for cancer she ultimately passed away from heart failure having taken most of her jewelry including the tiara with her to London following World War II the Norwegian Jewels including the Tiara were
