Lost Ancient City Unearthed on Google Earth in the American Southwest

I found what looked like a line of rocks on Google Earth it looks very interesting so I set out to see what it was in person so I found this on Google Earth it looked like a straight line of rocks which doesn't seem natural to me you know so uh that kind of tells me that it could be um ruins or something and this is in the region of the ancestral Pueblo so man those bugs are biting me this little no sand bugs this is in the American southwest here in the four corners region and I'm here to check it out [Music] so I just thought I saw something in a bush and I'll show you what it looks like ominous I don't know what is that teeth still in there what do you think should I turn back around nah okay so this is interesting this looks like a retaining pond an ancient retaining pond oh and I'll show you what I mean oh yeah totally yeah look see these rocks stacked up right here right here in this line and then right there like I wonder if this is like an ancient kind of like a dam do they call them check dams I forget what they're called um but anywhere where there's like a wash they want to save some of the water or try to save you know slow it down that make these little chick dams I think that's what they're called yeah because there's like more rocks that have fallen down over the centuries that's cool our first little find here you can see it better from this angle so they stacked them up right here on the edge and then right there it's almost like they're trying to make the water flow that way or something that's really cool well I think we're on the right track so I'm gonna keep going just kind of hang on this edge of this uh Mesa Plateau where are we I don't know okay so I'm seeing a lot of stuff I think I see a ruin down there on top of that Boulder thing there's like a k over here there's like some stacked rocks up here I think that's the start of that wall here's the first part of the thing I was looking at on Google Earth it's this one well there's a way down that's for sure oh wow there's some big stuff back here cool so I gotta be careful because I don't want to step on any of this it's ruined wall or anything it's not cool I think it's really cool it's really fun set this down ouch set this down for now come back to it hopefully don't let me forget it okay okay so let's follow this wall over here so it's over here this is where it ends right this little edge of this Cliff comes over here it's definitely raised up I mean I hope you can see it in the camera I mean because it's obvious oh cool oh finding Pottery here pot shirts really neat that's cool so now I gotta be very careful and stepping okay oh my goodness this thing is tall whoa see how it's raised up about two or three feet so it goes all the way down there comes back here and then it cuts this way and then when you kind of come out of the room come out of the way of the tree you'll see this look at that oh wow that's so fun what is going on here huh oh well there's just so much stuff going on down here let's look at these three pieces I just gotta be very careful where I step whatever this was this probably was much taller of course look how much has fallen down look at all the centuries of sand build up and dirt build up from the you know from the wind and the elements and things wow this is cool so it comes all the way over here and then it cuts back towards the cliffs oh yeah this is going to be very fun to fly my drone here comes all the way back here and connects to this Edge so clearly there is some type of defensive element here oh cool there's like Stacks down there maybe there's a little Granary or something so there's all these little crevices oh my gosh there's stuff down there okay I'm Gonna Fly my drone really soon because it's getting I'm getting way too excited here thank you [Music] but there's stuff underneath this too huh oh yeah oh cool [Music] oh and it's amazing oh looks like it's been dug looks like somebody uh maybe you have I don't know it kind of does cool look at this whole place this whole place is just full of just fun things to explore isn't this so fun this is so much fun okay so this entire area is enclosed from here to over there you can almost see my drone pack probably 120 feet you think that's a good estimate I'll measure it on Google Earth just so we can see how wrong I am but let's explore this interior stuff here all right there are some internal rooms here yeah you can kind of see cuts down there comes over here and connects this side right here yeah see these little small pieces everywhere okay so these look big enough that I think there were some type of rooms here maybe this thing definitely is a big room but why isn't there anything in the middle here maybe there were um I don't know what do you think I need your ideas what do you think oh cool this thing oh wow this is cool but look there's mortar right there so that's that type of cement they made it's made from like Clay and other stuff that's really neat I see another one these have great views of the valley down here not much left of this one huh okay I think it's drone time [Music] this is kind of how I envisioned this ruin had this big wall a couple of rooms and this big room right here with another room on the south side [Music] after flying my drone up here I flew it below the cliffs and saw this you can see several Cliff Dwellings here and many other ruins scattered around foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] that was amazing seeing those runes underneath that ledge right there and then that Boulder with all those ruins around it and then kind of on a tucked on the inside that was really fun that was really cool and unexpected I hope you had fun I had fun that
