5 years ago? Oh Lorde, where is tyme goin. Twas still a teenager back when this was dropped. π¬
Such an amazing, brilliant pop song. Pure Heroine still holds up as a terrific debut album tbh, Ribs is one of the greatest songs ever.
People are probably going to shade this song to seem like cool hipsters but you have to admit just how infectious this song is.
I didn't realize that people don't like this song. Sure, it's not the best thing she's ever done, and therefore it's frustrating that it's the only thing the GP knows about her, but it introduced so many people, including me, to her and her music. Pure Heroine was one of the first albums I ever owned and I connect with it more now than ever. I would never have that if it wasn't for this song. It will always hold a special place in my heart.
Have any of you become a royal since then?
No? Spooky.
I was 13 when this came out it has been so long wow, the soundtrack of my middle school years is iconic to this day
I can actually remember where I was when I first heard it. Life changing!
And she's still never seen a diamond in the flesh π poor kid
I still remember the first time I heard this song.
