Yeah, 100 episodes,
I mean it's crazy like, the whole thing has been a journey.
It's like one of those things where it's been so long that there's not
really like one moment. Like it's just a whole journey. It was very overwhelming at first,
but exciting as well. You just go into that character so easily
because you just are so used to doing it. Each year it's really fun.
Really, we built a family here. So, it's pretty cool. [music playing] I'm definitely less nervous
than the first time I walked in. It's really crazy. None of us, I don't think,
had any idea that it would be going on for this long. Are you kidding me right now? You said you missed the pun,
so I thought it was OK to do-- I guess it was just all super new.
Like, I've never been on a multi-cam show before. It's different, but it's like
a different kind of fun, like I'm more relaxed and like,
just know what I'm doing more so I can have fun with that,
as opposed to everything's so new and exciting, like that's what it was
when I first came in, I was like, what is this? I had never really been
on a set before so... - What are you watching?
- The news. [laughing] Uh-huh, it was very
overwhelming at first, but exciting as well.
Like, I don't know, I guess I'm just like used to it.
It's just a different feeling when you walk in somewhere
and you know everyone, and you have your routine. We're on a liquid... - Eh!
- Yeah. More of a mess than a cleanse, I'd say. Yeah, I remember I used to
explore the studio like, like there was all these new-- They were
literally building this place out when we first moved in,
so we were like exploring all the different places that they're building
and I'd never been on a set before, so I was literally like,
everything was all new. It was actually pretty cool. Favorite villain... Ah, that's hard because
they're all so good. - Um...
- Ooh, um... Honestly, I think I'm gonna
have to go with the OG, I'm gonna have to go with Toddler. Well, well, well... So this is Captain Man's
secret Man Cave. Ben Giroux is fun to work with
and he's just kind of funny. He's just a literal man baby. I guess we most likely bring back
like Dr. Minyak and Jeff. - Ah!
- Dr. Minyak! Man, who the bud are you? Dr. Minyak! Just 'cause they're so iconic
and it's really funny 'cause they're also both
like not the smartest. The Bee Keeper is my
favorite villain, I think. Uh... 'cause he's ridiculous. Sorry to be such a buzz kill! Are you done? Seriously, you're not in any pain? There's like a thousand bees on you. They guy who plays him
is very, very funny. And he is definitely not the main threat to us, he's just more of a distraction. I would say that five years ago
when I came onto the set, I was a lot more excited than I am now,
but that's really not true. Like there is such a sense of
excitement and wonderment stepping onto this set every day. Hold camera's mark. [screaming] Hold up, hold up, hold up. Just the tubes, there's no need
to be so scared, OK? I wasn't scared, that was... Brave screaming. - Oh, OK.
- Wait, hold... I think I'm just, you know,
I'm so involved in it because I've been doing it for so long. It's almost just like
second nature for me now. Action, Jace! [laughing] Dude, I heard you screaming
the whole way down. - That was brave screaming!
- Yeah. - I also scream "help me" when I'm brave.
- And hold... Let's jump on and do that
one last time please. For all of us too, you just go
into that character so easily because you are just
so used to doing it. That it's not even like
you think about it anymore. Nice troll slave! How much
do you want for him? What? I am--
I am not a troll! Quiet down, troll! - Hey, hey, hey.
- What, what, what? Let's give this dude some of
our sweet weapons to take home with him so he
can get his kingdom back. I love that and I would like
to do that right now. There's so many other elements
to the show that are fresh and new and exciting every week. And it's just so cool that they keep
generating these new worlds and these new environments.
It's so much fun and I love it so much, so in that regard,
not a whole lot has changed. [music playing] I think I've broken
a couple of things on set. One time I think I broke a table. If you look right next to the couch,
it has like silver balls in it. One time I spilled all the silver balls
and I felt really bad. Oh, I've broken a lot of props. In Junk N' Stuff there's a lot
of things that are easily broken. I've broken a lot of that,
no bones though. - Oh, good.
- Yeah. I don't think I've-- I can't say if
I've broken one of the props. No, honestly I don't think I've ever
broken one of the props. - I really don't.
- I've never broken-- Well, maybe. Actually, this last episode that we're
filming right now, the 100th episode, during a run-through, like we kind of
have to dodge out of the way of Cooper. And then this glass thing fell over and
broke in the middle of run-through, so... We just kind of ignored it
and kept going. Cameras A, B, and C mark. Well, that's just great! Who even knows when
the news will be out again? - 24 hour news cycle!
- Sam time every day. - Tomorrow...
- Just, what-- What's with all the blending? Ray hasn't changed much. I think the character of Ray
was always there. I think my realization of
just how childish Ray is, uh, kind of became more apparent
as the years went by. Smart one, science freak,
you're both falling for this? Hey, I want night vision. You know I drink
whatever anyone hands me. It's kind of hard to think of
Charlotte as like a separate entity, but I mean, she's maintained
the same sass and just like gotten more used to the guys
and knows how to kind of corral them more, like she's just
used to playing that role. So now she knows how to get them
to kind of do what she needs them to do. Yeah, yeah well I'm kind of
on a liquid cleanse right now. - So...
- For night vision? That's real. Yeah, so I'm gonna have to use
my get-out-of-dinner card which I'm holding right now,
even though you can't see. I think, you know, he's gotten older and
he's kind of gotten older with me and it's almost as if the writers
and the actors kind of grow and a adapt to their environment,
but like on the show. It's kind of weird, like the characters
learn to mess with each other more and stuff, so probably as
the show's gone on, that's just the biggest difference.
We've just evolved with each other. I can't hear what you're saying
because the blender is too loud! I need you to stay here
and help me with the situation. I'm just gonna assume
you said I should go home. - No!
- Go? No, stay! - Go away?
- No! OK, goodbye! Goodbye! The writers and I have kind of
a fun rapport because even though we don't spend
our days together, they're up in a room and
I'm downstairs on set, we both share part of Ray's brain. And it's cool that they're
coming up with his thoughts, and then I'm coming up with my own
and we meet in the middle, and we create this
very fun character together. It's been a real, real joy
to bring him to life every week. My favorite of all the sets to film on, Henry's house which is where
I film 99% of my stuff, because there's actual furniture. And if you just wanna chill,
you can chill on the couch. The living room set, honestly.
It's so comfortable, like they have a huge couch,
they're like a million places to sit, which is always great during
long shooting days, so probably that one. Um... I think the Man Cave. Or actually, you know, it's Junk N' Stuff. Everyday there's something new in there.
They keep replacing the different stuff in there,
so Junk N' Stuff. My favorite set that we've ever filmed on
I think is the Man Cave, 'cause it's always evolving,
there's always something new. It's always being updated and
I think it's one of our coolest sets. Full cameras mark. Action! Whoa! This is amazing. It looks exactly the same! - Sure does.
- Yeah. It's like a whole arc. I feel like season three was
like the hardest for me, and then you get over that hump. I also feel like season three is really
when the show kind of took off. So, it's weird, it's kind of
been like a little thing, you know? OK, first things first. Let's put that self-destruct button away
before someone accidentally hits it again. [screaming] - What's that?
- It's a mole person! Oh, people never die! Man Cave self-destruct activated. I totally grew up on this show and that was like my whole
high school experience, I guess so... It's just kind of cool looking back,
like I was so young starting off. And I've just changed a lot,
so it's crazy. Let's give it up for
Chris Nowak, everybody! We wanted to do something because
not every series goes 100 episodes. So I wanted to get everyone their own world's best team towels mug. [laughing] 100 episodes and your own coffee mug. When people ask,
what's your favorite episode? I could barely remember,
like it's all kind of a blur when you're looking back at it. Uh, I say this a lot,
but the people I get to work with, the kinship between our crew,
'cause they've been working together for a long time is really something rare
and something very special. And the cast and I have grown together,
so they're all like my kids. Each year it's been fun coming back
and for us to create new episodes, and really, we've built a family here,
so it's pretty cool. [music playing] βͺ Nick, Nick, Nick, Nick
