Look What You Can Do With Elmer's Glue

hey everybody I'm Mary and this is my simple Cottage life [Music] [Music] so I read somewhere that in Japan they say every window deserves a beautiful view well that would be great but you can't always have it that way like I live out in the country I live next to some Woods uh some of my views are not great some of them are some of them beautiful this one isn't so let me show you what we need to do if you want to have some privacy or not see the view outside from your window but you don't want to buy that very expensive roll of window film that you have to cut and fit to each pane you have to spray it with water smooth it down and then what you have is a covered up window yep but no light okay with this method you get plenty of light and you hide your view let me show you how to do that so here's all you need need a small paint roller a pan you need these Square roller this is really inexpensive it's just a little foam roller and you do need foam it has a squar off edge like most of them look like this with a rounded Edge you want the squ off edge and Elmer's Glue the regular white Elmer's Glue let me show you what we're going to do going to open our glue we're going to open our glue and pour some of it in this pant don't need a lot take the roller get it wet wi the glue okay here we go turnning round just make sure you roll it all the way on nice and smooth like that then you're going to let it [Applause] dry and here's what you have okay so you've got you're hiding an unsightly view but you're still letting the light in look what it did it looks great I don't have to buy that roll of film that you have to get that darkens my room I didn't want it darkened I just want it to look a little better that's all see how easy that is very very easy okay thanks for watching
