Hi guys, I'm Ingrid Ramanush and you're on the "Recriar com Arte" channel. Look what a beautiful thing I made using natural leaves and aluminum for culinary use. And look at the wonderful work we will do together. If you like my tip today, give me a like, share this video with everyone and subscribe to the channel. And tell me in the comments what you're going to do with these wonders, okay guys? So let's go learn? Today's technique is very beautiful and very versatile. It's one of those techniques that I love, because you can use different types of materials and get a very beautiful result. So, look, look at how much we can use as a base. We will always use some type of paper that is more rigid. This one is Craft Paper, look, it's a sheet I have here with a weight of 240, you see, it's very firm. But you don't need to buy this paper, what I need is firm paper. So, if you don't have one of these, look, you can use a folder, one of those document storage folders, the paper is also usually very rigid, so you can recycle a folder and use it or even a piece of cardboard, don't you have it? No problem , because we will cover it with metal. So, the base, prepare a paper like this, a little more rigid, with a weight above 200, which will be ideal for our work, and we will work with reliefs. And to create the relief, you can use the most diverse types of materials. Look, you can use natural leaves, try to use leaves that are like this, taller, that have a lot of markings or small ones like this, or larger leaves, it also depends on the project you are going to carry out. If you want to do the leaf theme, you can also use, look, these artificial leaves that have marked the veins of the leaf here, you see, because what matters is that the material we are going to use has some relief, which is for be well marked and very beautiful. If you don't want to do the leaf theme, you can use paper, look like this one, which has a very beautiful design, which also has a certain height, or even, guys, do you know what this is? Those plastic linen towels, I have one here, I saw this little central flower on one of them and cut out the plastic towel, and it also looks really nice, and it also has a very high relief, which will be ideal for this job. Or even, guys, remember those leaves I taught you how to make with glue? If you want to do the leaf theme too, you can make a leaf here with glitter glue and use it, because it also has a very beautiful relief. Anyway, use your imagination, after I explain the technique, you will see that you can use a lot of things to make our reliefs. And another very important material, look, is aluminum, that culinary aluminum that everyone has at home. Are you okay, guys? So just these materials and you will see what a beautiful technique. Well, guys, now that I've chosen my projects here, look, one I'm going to do with the paper sheet, this one with the natural leaves, this one with the glue sheet and this one with the plastic towel. The next step is for us to paste the relief I chose here on the paper . And for this, I'm going to use white glue, an extra strong white glue. So just apply the glue back here and stick it straight here on our paper base. Look, put it the way you want it to look later, very easy. And so, I'm going to do it with all the materials, I'm going to glue it and let it dry here on the base paper. And now that everything has dried, the glue has dried, it is well glued here, the next step is for us to apply the metal to this card. And to apply the metal, the best method is to use a glue that is self-adhesive. You can use, look, either mordant varnish or permanent adhesive, you apply these two products and after they dry, they become self-adhesive, so it's very easy for us to apply the aluminum foil later. That's what I'm going to do now, I'm going to use mordant varnish, but whatever, permanent glue would work in the same way, and let it reach the biting point, which is when it becomes sticky, that's it folks. Look, I applied it over everything and as soon as it dries well, you will see, you will put your finger on it and it will be sticky. You You can even use white glue to glue it, but with white glue it's more difficult to stick and it may have gaps, so it's a little loose, you know. The best product for aluminum is this one, which is self-adhesive, which is mordant varnish or permanent glue. And that's it, now I wash this brush with water and wait for it to dry and get to the point where it becomes sticky, and I'll show you the next step. Well, guys, now that you've reached the point, look, when you put your finger like this, you feel like it's sticking, it's because you've already reached the biting point. And you can now move on to the next step, which is to glue the aluminum foil for culinary use here. So I'm going to open the sheet and I'm going to measure more or less the size I need and I'm going to cut out the aluminum pieces. The aluminum foil has a side that is less shiny and a side that is brighter, which side you leave up depends on your preference. If you want a work with a little more shine, leave this side up, which is a more satin work, with less shine, then you leave this one. I'm going to do it both ways so you can get an idea of what it looks like. And now, guys, it's really easy. Look, this one, I'm going to leave the shiny side up, so I turn the sheet over here and place it over my work. Look, I put it on and tighten it well. I come with the cloth, look, and I'm squeezing it tightly. And you are noticing that the image that was below has already started to appear, look how beautiful it looks, look what a wonderful relief it has, don't you think? And around here, I'm going to cut out what's left of the aluminum to make it look exactly right. And now I'm going to get a little closer so you can take a closer look. Look, to ensure the relief so that it appears more, I'm going to use a pencil, which is a pencil made with paper, but if you don't have one, continue using the fabric, just to firm it up a little more around here, see, so that the drawing below appears even more and is clearly marked. This will make all the difference later when we highlight this drawing, look, pass it around here, to highlight it well. And you can also use a metal ballpointer, look, pass it around the petal to highlight it. When you do this, do it with a super light hand . If you don't have a baller, you can use a pen. I'm going to do it with the pen here, because it has a metal tip and it will have the same effect. So I'm going to go around the petal here, you see, it's just for you to define the contour of the drawing below. And look, guys, how well the shape turned out? I'll do the same thing with the others, ok? In this one, I'm going to put the less shiny part up, so you can also get an idea of what it looks like. Look, I come here, put it on and iron the fabric. And when you're passing the pen, guys, do it with a very light hand, so you don't tear the aluminum foil, ok? Don't use your hand too hard, squeezing the pen too much, it's just to define the contour of the shape and make the reliefs appear more. Well, after I pressed it well, the relief is appearing, look how beautiful the sheet looks. You can also write up here, make some graphics. And that's what I'm going to do now, because the more marked the aluminum part is here, the more beautiful it will be after painting. This one right here, I'm going to make a tag. So, I'm going to first drill here, make a little hole here in the middle, more or less here, look, and around here I want to make some lines. So, I put the ruler here, look, and with the pen I've been marking, making some lines, because later when we make a patina, which I'm going to teach, and also the painting, everything we did up here, which marked, it will stand out and the result will be very beautiful, do you see the little marks that remain? And so I'm going to do it around everything and look how cute it looks? This margin around here, on this other one, I'm going to make some lines coming out here, look, like rays. And here I wrote the word "love". And now, guys, to really highlight these reliefs, I'm going to darken the background. And for this, I'm going to use a highlighter pen, one of those common ones, a pilot pen, the important thing is that it's an alcohol-based pen. So, the cheapest pens, these markers for writing on cardboard are usually alcohol based and that's what I'm going to use to darken them. This patina can also be done with India ink, here on the channel there is a complete and free Plastering course. And there I teach how to patina metal using India ink. Now I'm going to do it using the pen, because this way you have more techniques to apply to the metal here. And here it's very easy, guys, look, I take my brush and go over everything, because this way it will really highlight all the reliefs and all the drawings I made here. Look, just pass the pen over everything and now you come with the cloth and remove the excess that you painted and it will leave a beautiful patina. And if it happens to be difficult to remove, your pen, you can moisten the fabric with a little alcohol, and lightly pass it over the work, you see, people, like this, look, everything we marked, becomes much more highlighted. And I will do all the work, I will also pass everything here. While the paint is fresh, it is easy to remove with the fabric, after it dries well, it will no longer come off. And to remove it, if you want, you will have to use a cloth dampened with alcohol, ok. Look, I applied everything and while the paint is still fresh, I lightly go over the fabric and remove the excess. And try to leave a shadow here around the leaf, because this highlights the relief even more. Look how beautiful it is. So, guys, if you want to leave it like this in this shading tone, the work is already done, but I want to add color. And to add color, today I'm going to use, look, alcohol-based inks. I teach you how to make these paints here on the channel. I will leave the link above and also in the video description where I teach how to make these alcohol-based inks. In fact, we also have a free and complete alcohol painting course, where I apply these paints to the most diverse materials and they are beautiful works. So, I'm going to use alcohol-based ink to color, and if you want, you can also use Vitral varnish, which also looks very beautiful. And it's really easy here, folks. Look, I put a brush and I put alcohol in that cup, because alcohol-based paints, we clean the brush with alcohol. So, I'm going to start by applying it here on this sheet. Look, I'm going to make a mixture of this shade of blue with a little bit of yellow, so it will be a very pretty green. Just add a little paint, look, I'm going to use yellow here too, and just mix it. You will see that it has a wonderful effect. And now with the brush, look, I'll tap lightly and mix the two colors. And that's it, guys, now just let it dry. Look how beautiful the leaf turned out. I'm going to leave it here on the side, and on this other one, look, instead of painting the leaves, I'm going to paint around it too, it looks really nice. I think I'll keep using the same tone, yellow and blue. See how easy it is? Look what a beautiful effect it had, in this one too, it had contrast. This one I painted the leaf and this one I didn't paint the leaf and painted the background, and it's also a wonderful result, isn't it? It's very easy, you just spread the paints and color your work. This one I'm going to use a different color. Let's see, I think I'm going to use this shade of magenta here. See , guys, I added the gold, in the core, and here in the petals, which I think will look really pretty too. And this other one here, I think I'm just going to use the blue one here on the outside. Look, the design really stood out. So, now I'm going to let everything dry and I'll be back to show you the applications and the final result, ok? And look, guys, how beautiful our work turned out. I love working with metal, and you saw, using only aluminum for culinary use, paper and foil. Look what a beautiful job we did. And if you want to give extra coverage, with varnish, then you can use spray varnish, just apply it on top and it gives you a protective coverage, but I didn't use it, I thought it wasn't necessary, ok? And this type of work, look, you can tag it like I did, on these two, look how cute it turned out, or you can apply it, you can apply it to little boxes, you can apply it, look at this notebook here, Look how beautiful it looks when applied on top. This work with the leaves matches perfectly, doesn't it. The result is also very beautiful, look here too, just look how beautiful it looks, isn't it, anyway, like it's made with paper, you just put glue on the back and apply it wherever you want, this false tin plating, let's put it that way. It's very beautiful, I loved the result, I hope you liked it too, and if you liked today's class, don't forget to give me a like, share this video with everyone, and also subscribe to the channel, that's good , people? Bye, see you next Friday, God willing. A big kiss to everyone. [Music]
