LOOK AT ALL THESE RANCH STUDS

foreign we're getting a little bonus stud video so Kendra's gonna take us through and show us all the ranch studs and other studs that might be here yeah at the moment got a few extras that we're housing perfect you guys housing extra studs is that to breed for people um a lot of it is uh we're training taking them to shows right now stuff like that um or if it's a customer who's bought it as a baby and they've housed it here boarded it here and we're putting on some of the first rides stuff like that okay actually I was talking about the running the running bread deal earlier this is actually a daughter an own daughter of a political Jess okay um they've been pulling embryos out of her she's here just to to hang out for a few more months till they send her back down south to the Transfer Facility down in Oklahoma and we'll we'll breed her to some ranch studs and some running bread studs and we're starting to do a little more of the embryo transfer stuff so that's kind of exciting yeah the embryo transfer is a whole different game than Ai and the male side yes so Embryo transfer would actually be you inseminate the mayor you let the embryo grow for eight seven eight days depending on the mayor and then they put a whole bunch of fluid in our uterus and hopefully flush out a little tiny baby embryo and then they will take that embryo and either freeze it or they will put it in a don't or a recipient mirror surrogate so a frozen embryo what do you do with that they you can put it in a tank and you can store it for as long as you want I did not and then they take this out and they take it out and they warm it I have not been a part of that I've just heard about the process but they take that frozen embryo they warm it and then they will implant it into a recipient mirror wow so yeah it's very exciting that's awesome yes they're also to the point now where they're harvesting eggs out of the mares we did a little bit on that mayor here they take those eggs they go through a process of washing them grading them taking the good eggs and then they will like in vitro take one sperm cell inject it into that one egg and then they will eat they will either grow them or they will freeze them and then implant them in the mirror wow so yes they're getting pretty techy so all this research and development do you guys do some of that here or how are you so in time with all this stuff um Jim has worked with a couple of facilities down South we have not started doing that here yet it takes a lot of equipment things like that we just with the amount of numbers that we have to do here with just fresh we try and focus on foaling and our breeding here and kind of let the big dogs down south take care of the very technical stuff but that's something that we definitely might get into someday that'd be pretty cool you just have to have all the all of the equipment for it and I'm sure it costs a little bit a lot of it it is so yeah so we have that mirror and then this is actually the last horse on the sale he's an own son of would he be tough data buckles right yep and I think believe if I'm correct he's out of a highbrow cat mirror so he's a really nice heel horse um would fit kind of a five to seven Roper and uh he is available and would be Riata Buckle eligible right to compete on yes for sure and this is speaking of Rihanna Buckle this is favorable intentions he was the second highest uh sire money earning sire of the inaugural router Buckle event last year so we're all for that yeah we're pretty proud of that uh he's owned by the ranch in Amos and Lindsay Lang so everybody's excited about his Colts future too and he's kind of we would call him a a pretty line bread Jack Horse He Is by Duke got Duke jojack and out of the mirror Rita red Jackie who was an own daughter of Baron red who was a super horse so he's got a lot of type behind him too I think Baron red is one of my all-time favorites yeah pretty cool um this is Diamond Starbuck this is uh our stead managers stud Ben hepker he lost his uh old Reds Diamond Jack stud a couple years ago and so Starbucks here is an own son and he his first crop of babies are on this sale and they're looking really nice so we're excited about him and he's really good-minded easy to get along with really nice horse and dukes and Diva's here he is paid up uh he's a re-out buckle sire also he had the high selling gelding on the spring sale and he's just like I said a really great ranch bread horse head horse type Ranch horse he's done a really great job for us yeah we got to start three two-year-olds out of him this year we're all with different moms but all very easy and willing and I think he might be my favorite stud because of the good experience starting yeah babies yeah that's great him and favorable intentions are actually half Brothers they're by the same sire Duke jojack his mother Diva's mother was actually a showmare too she was an own daughter of two-eyed Red Buck and we actually sent her off down to the embryo transfer facilities this summer to flush her oh she's still alive yep yep she's down there I haven't heard what they've gotten out of her but I'm sure they've got some done so that will be exciting to hear how that all went yeah it's very pretty yes and me a brow beater he's the favorite stud to breed to this year right owns on a highbrow cat and uh it'll be we're excited to see his his Colts perform here Riata Buckle stud also okay yes so there's four total Pitzer Riata books um correct three three okay three yes um more often more likely than not metallic Casanova will also be paid in yeah so once that starts going on and then this is Duke got Jack he is a very line bread horse from the ranch uh he is also by Duke jojack and his mother was an own daughter of jojack Honey bar so he probably has the most watched Joe Jack in his blood on the place we use them in pasture good boned um and just I think he's going to be a tremendous brood mayor sire just that it's hard to be hard to beat the blood and there's a lot of watch Joe in him so I've heard before watch Joe Jack Mayors put on a cute head yes okay yep uh Jim will tell you that him and Howard always used to argue about who was the best stud back when two-eyed Jack and watch Joe Jack were here and of course two-eyed Jack sired watched Joe Jack and um Jim would say well watch Joe's a better better horse because he had a better sire I can't really argue that so that's what that's what he said but I think if if Jim would if you'd asked Jim he would say that watch Joe Jack was just one of the greats so that's awesome this is dookieyoti he is also an own son of Duke jojack and he's a little more outcross on the bottom he's out of a coyote's member and uh we really Jim really like set out cross on the bottom so he's also a pastor horse kind of a ranch uh you know rangy good boned just an all-around nice horse he had a gelding sell on the spring sale that bay that Mark and Daniel had he was a really great Horse Too another top seller right yeah he was up there too yeah and then here is Bam Bam qd2 show uh kind of our Junior stallion he doesn't want to come see us but he's uh I kind of he reminds me of like a running back like a fullback on a football team like he's just built he's kind of shorter made and just heavier muscled and really cute headed Jim has a full sibling to him that he rides a lot Bambi is her name Buckskin mirror he wrote her down three out of buckle we've raised a couple Colts out of her she's she's just kind of his favorite so it's it's a good family and we really like him and then this is gold money Joe he is an own son of show me a song Joe's and out of Duke jojak's mother Reds Duchess so he's kind of related to those Duke Joe Jack studs by the mother and uh he's was a really great show horse super athletic he was in pasture this summer with his band of mirrors he actually uh you can't tell but he did uh actually break his left back leg about a year and a half ago almost two years ago on a rope and run and they took him in and uh pinned it fixed it we brought him back healed him up he was out in pasture last year and this summer and he's great like can't even tell so that is like a ranch tub yeah that's a testament to the horses you guys right yeah can break their leg and you can't even see it yeah he's he's done great and his Colts should just be just like him so there's a good a good smattering of them on the sale also that's awesome and this is oh hell yes he is an own son of show me a song Joe's as well and he his mother was a two-eyed Red Buck he was in pasture this summer also he had about 30 head of mirrors and he is a top gun stallion paid up I should have mentioned that on the other ones but yeah we maybe we could go back through I'll let you know which ones all the time but he's Cyrus really uh good boned big like Ranch you know type but they're athletic too so it's the whole package yeah yeah I'm kind of partial to this show me a song Joe's just a lot of people really liked them that he was a great sire for us he left us some good ones to take over for him we lost him a little earlier than we'd like to but he's you know that's stuff just happens but it was good that we brought him to a lot of mirrors so we'll have some chances of some Sons so I love seeing all the show me a selling Joe's brewed mirrors now yeah yeah they've been great they've been good Mayors really good producers so it's it's exciting to have those still and this is gonna wimp them he is an own son of Wimpy's little step and out of a a gunner daughter Colonel Smoking Gun and that Wimpy's little step I'm seeing there it's very popular in some of those other horse sales right yep and a lot of the rain in um the rain and World there that's kind of their thing he is super good-minded gentle easy to be around um and we just we really like him so he he went to pasture that's why he's got some marks on him those Grays they like to they show up a little bit but yeah he did well and we really like his Phillies to keep that as some brood mares here okay that'll be exciting to see in the future yeah and and he's sires some cute cute maid cute made colds so yeah we really like him too so and then this is also a son of Colt 45 uh show Coco Joe he uh is a customer stallion uh Mr studer owns him I think they're gonna be reading him a little bit next year they've been showing him he's got oh quite a few points um really nice show horse he's out of an own daughter of he's done his time um so he's he's been he was sold here on the spring sale and that's where Mr Suitor bought him and then he's just stayed here and we've taken him to some shows and just he's just lived here so he'll probably get his chances the ladies next year that's awesome yeah the up-and-comers yes and then we have Boone sand here he's a own son of highbrow cat as well uh we got him when he was a little older Jim got him to use on his young young first-time mirrors just so that we had a total outcross to use on our young mirrors and we don't really like to AI or our young mirrors too much just uh just because nature knows best and this is just efficient and easier to turn him out with a stud it kind of helps them figure out life and uh and he's he's been a really good sire for us so far we've had a couple cult crops out of him and they look good so we're happy with that I like that nature knows best and you guys let that happen yeah and last one here is every day is my day he is an own son of Joe Jack red and out of a two-eyed Red Buck daughter and he belongs to Dale and Lori King they live here here in Erickson and uh we turned him out with some errors this summer and he sired some really nice made good Bodied cute-headed good Cults that are you know ranch bread all the way so he's another really nice sire to have and being back skin doesn't hurt either yeah so yeah yeah so of these studs which ones are Top Gun Top Gun would be gonna wimp them Duke got Jack oh hell yes gold money Joe and dookie okay yeah and then the Riata Buckle Stone Buckle is favorable intentions Duke dukes and Divas and me about beater Okay yeah so there's lots of places to take them go win money and have a great time yeah all the extra incentives with these studs are really awesome extra money to be one yes and of course they're all HPI eligible okay yep all the studs yep everything here on the ranch so I think we're giving out just over a hundred thousand this year HPI day is tomorrow yeah and that's gonna be really fun to see who gets to win all the little prizes and big prizes yes and we have over 95 entries awesome so it'll be a big day awesome yeah well thanks
