LONDON to PARIS: Flixbus & Le Shuttle Eurotunnel from Victoria Coach Station to Paris Bercy

hi everyone my name's scott and welcome to planes trains everything something very different today today you and i are catching a bus from here london victoria coach station to paris now i've never traveled internationally on a bus before and i've never traveled on eurotunnel before les shuttle i've traveled on eurostar never euro tunnel so i'm looking forward to this experience i'm also curious to see how they handle the passport and customs information on this sort of journey this ticket was bought two weeks ago and i decided at the time to look at some comparison fares different other different ways of getting to paris and this is what i found flicks bus today 8 hours 40 minutes 40 pounds the old school way of going to paris which is the train from london victoria to dover ferry to cali and then the train to parry nord about six and a half hours 82 pounds eurostar standard class two hours 22 minutes 195 pounds air france heathrow charles de gaulle 125 303 pounds one way but wait it gets better british airways heathrow charles to goal one hour 20 minutes 370 pounds so if time isn't an issue and you don't mind sacrificing comfort a little bit it's a bit of a no-brainer right let's get inside find our bus and find our seat before someone tries to nick [Music] yeah you don't have luggage right so you just wait for me behind the door [Music] [Music] is [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Music] it took about 20 minutes to get through the initial check and now that we're here doing the passport control we're here for five minutes then we're off so [Music] okay so wow you imagine flying into those things is [Music] [Music] ladies and gentlemen in one hour time we're gonna have a break in the filling station in one hour time the break thank you [Music] [Music] [Music] as a thank you to my subscribers on youtube i have the occasional extra video just for you guys this can be found under the community tab on the planes trains everything channel home page there will be a video shot at gada leon station on arrival tonight this video won't appear in the youtube search engine or youtube recommendations it's just for you so thanks for subscribing everyone it is greatly appreciated [Music] again [Music] foreign we before i finish this video i just wanted to remind you i'm now heading up to guy to leon to poke about for a little while there's a few things i'd like to check out and i'd like to take you guys along with me as well that video will be uploaded at the same time as this one you'll find that under the community tab on the home page of plain strains everything on youtube just a reminder as well it's a thank you for all the people who subscribe to me uh this video cannot be found under the youtube search engine or as a recommendation it's for you guys only thanks very much for following me anyway what did i think of flixbus from london to paris it wasn't all it wasn't too bad actually it was it was okay we got off the bus plenty of time so you were able to stretch your legs and it isn't every day you can buy a bus ticket and end up traveling on a train although i must say the scenery between cali and paris is pretty dull it's great gently undulating hills for four hours needless to say i went for a power nap anyway guys i'm glad you came along with me as well for this little adventure thanks very much for your support i do appreciate it and i'll see you next time foreign
