Log Cabin Bathhouse | Installing a Wood Stove | Maple Syrup | Off Grid Haircut

[Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] so I finally got the roof on got the the sauna roof completely watertight I'm kind of at a standstill now because it's still so much snow on the ground my logs that I'm using to frame in on top of the roof on top of this roof membrane still buried in snow and then the rest of the material that I need to finish the roof is also buried in snow you'll see why in probably probably three weeks before I can get all that stuff back or out and put onto the roof and it's going to dramatically improve it I don't like the look of the black rolled roofing that's on there now but I needed that waterproofing there so I'm going to spend the rest of today I think cleaning up it's March 27th today and it is well it's gonna be six or seven degrees Celsius the sun is shining the SAP pockets are out I put the maple syrup buckets a load on the trees what two days ago two or three days ago and we just haven't had warm enough temperatures so there's you know quarter of an inch and in each pail and it still hasn't started flowing today because it's still not warm enough so I think it's probably another couple of days before we get enough to bother but boiling but I'm gonna try at two days from now hopefully we have enough at least to do a small batch now on that day I've got company coming up to give me a hand so I'm gonna spend the rest of today cleaning up the snow is slowly melting and it's exposing a lot of the debris all the construction material from cutting off the logs and everything all around the cabin so I'll clean that up so I think I'm gonna clean myself up a little bit before company arrives on Friday as well so don't scare them off so I hope you tune in back back in on probably Sunday this video is on Friday I should be able to post that video on Sunday because it's calling for rain on Saturday so they'll be here Friday get to film what we're doing that day Saturday I get to to edit because it's going to be raining and then Sunday I've got something else that I'm out that I'm doing that's pretty interesting something I've been wanting to do for many many years and finally gonna get to do that that's this Sunday so stay tuned for into future videos to see what I'm talking about so anyway I'm gonna keep cleaning up here and I'll see you in a bit [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] we think second [Music] [Music] spring [Music] [Music]
