Good Friday morning South Florida it's not just any Friday it is the last day of June and hopefully to the last day we're talking about records at least leading into July so far so good because yesterday we actually broke the record high in Miami again for the second day in a row 95 was the temperature the previous record was 94 so back in 2020. now as we go into the forecast we're already noticing a few showers this morning down by the keys keep the rain gear handy today we may see some am Coastal showers but really it's going to be the afternoon storms that start to erupt as for temperatures not too terribly warm this morning compared to yesterday so I'm not anticipating us talking about record highs it's just all about feels like temperatures in the triple digits as for right now we have temperatures feeling like the 90s before the sun even Rises so spotty afternoon storms will occur across parts of Broward and Miami-Dade the keys maybe an AM shower and then going into Saturday we keep that chance of storms around but we're noticing that shift in the wind direction and that's going to help steer the storms well Inland so it's not going to be a while out of a forecast for the Fourth of July long holiday weekend though we do increase the chance of storms the highest will be Monday as we go into the next four days for the holiday weekend so as we get say goodbye to June and hello to July we keep those temperatures in the lower 90s with feels like temperatures well into the triple digits have a great weekend South Florida
