How did he get that fridge down there?
If you find this interesting check out a documentary called 'Dark Days.' It follows multiple people living in shacks / holes like this in the NYC subway. It's my favourite documentary of all time.

I'd be too afraid of someone blocking the door with a large object and making it so i couldn't get out
The sad thing is he probably got robbed by thieves and/ or shut down by authorities after this video came out
Sweet, I bet he only has to pay like $850 a month for a place like that in NYC.
it was always a dream of mine to have and live in a secret place, but that is a little too cramped.
Edit: this being particularly interesting to me I have seen a few hidden spaces people have made for themselves or discovered. There was that one couple of guys who basically took over a no longer used room in a mall used to hold construction stuff when the mall was first being built until they were discovered by mall security.
A guy who basically put some painted plywood in between the girders under a bridge and lived in that space.
And another that an urban explorer discovered that was inside an elevated highway that a homeless man was living in. Showcased on reddit.
I really love that kind of stuff.
I always wonder what happened to that guy during the floods. I hope all is well for him.
He needs to rig himself up a bunch of incandescent bulbs to use that power right. Get all Invisible Man on that situation.
This guys life is dependant on someone not sitting on that lid
