Colorado right now stick around it's at 44 000 feet we gotta go what's the best way oh it's straight north of Akron can we just go north oh dude we could just go north and go east let's go north and east we gotta get up there in case this thing drops it could drop like really soon you know like a land spot or something hold on let me go hey my window's working it's been going up and down fingers trying to blow up here north of Akron Northwest of Otis where I have to go north out of Otis and get right up in position to get on this thing MD is already out MD is already out this is construction took off so uh thinking this could be the real deal here today I think tornadoes are definitely on the agenda especially along this boundary you got a boundary east west uh between Akron and Sterling right now and that's right where this cell is firing so thinking this could be an interesting day any storms along that boundary you're going to have a increased SRH increased vorticity and tornadoes are deaf let's see where's Ryan we also got Ryan shulout chasing today as well he's just north of us up by Sterling so we got the whole gang out here today let me show you what this stuff's looking like right now those are the towers are exploding right now to the north got a storm already initiating here in between apron and Sterling let's see Zero okay let me see if I can get a hold of let's be getting on the storm here shortly to the northwest of Otis Colorado north of Akron before so we have a good old-fashioned Construction construction here which is an ideal but I'm gonna have to stop here and wait but construction you gotta love it wow our Storm's already looking pretty nice there I'll show you what it's looking like look at it on radar you can see where we're at we're gonna go straight North Otis we're basically going to go straight into it there's velocity that's there not too much on velocities looks like some inflow picking up a couple lightning bolts there but uh very early on for this thing this thing uh has got some real potential here that Alex calling Hey man the Colorado one lane roads um okay they love them you know it's it's great it's great great by the way can you see the base back behind us to the left uh I see a couple of things I think that's the base you think that's it I think it's further north maybe but I think she was like but I don't know because it would be like maybe I don't know maybe it is the base I don't know we're looking at just looking at this up here right now those are our cells developing up there to the North Akron Northwest of Otis south of Sterling this storm tornado potential because it's along this boundary here in Northeast Colorado so we're gonna have to keep an eye on this thing especially as the day goes on plug that in real quick taking a little break here in the middle of the highway here we go it's like Goodland radar not going I don't think my maps mine's not working like it's just not updating have you noticed that yeah it's not at all watch it just go down today Square where if Goodland goes down the funk Shelf yeah I really hope the good one doesn't come down what's the next one what Buddhists yeah and we're gonna get right up underneath this developing quite possibly developing Supercell a little too early to tell whether it's a supercell or not but we're gonna get up there we're gonna figure out what it's all about another day phone is overheating I swear my phone overheats all the time but you turn left I just shut off my maps because my phone was overheating but then I just realized that I need to figure out what return here I think it's 61 North that's a house I was like wait a second I have driven through this town a few different times this year thank you all right so we should be good now we just gotta follow this road north we got three lightning bolts on this thing so that's exciting that means it's going all right now we're just driving up to the store foreign man I missed these Colorado roads what'd you say Mississippi oh they have light cheddar popcorn yeah that that's oh no construction again okay wait can we not do the construction I think if there's a five percent we just like close down construction until it's over you know is it real construction or is it just a science instruction I don't see anything still trustless this road is not in the best moisture um you know I got that boundary so vorticity and stop should be maximized I don't know if it really just starts to go up here I wouldn't be surprised if we get like a tornado even early on this guy yeah like something like that or like a hybrid yeah it's like really I mean it's early but like for Colorado it's really not um yeah honestly It's gotta glue the updraft there you can see it it's I mean it's not low but we gotta give us some time though we'll see maybe it'll squeak out a land spout or something when we get up here at this point I'll just take anything we can get it right right yeah so I'm gonna go up probably just like straight just straight up the road until I'm like under it basically might pull out like just before that just like get a good view of the base but I don't know we'll see but you still back there I see you yeah I got a really bad Verizon out here right now so yeah yeah it's like it keeps going in and out so we'll see I think at T is pulling strong up there see what it's got if it doesn't in any funny business we're gonna be over there see what it does but very early on in the day in fact the watch has not even been issued yet so you know watch hasn't even been issued yet at least as far as I know maybe it has I don't know I'm saying that maybe it was just issued and I don't even know but as far as I know the watch has not been out yet so early on the day it's only two 32 p.m Mountain Time realistically we got another six hours of chasing here and no the watch is not out yet got six more hours here of chasing to go today potentially up on radar we're gonna hit this uh this West Road up here we're gonna take it on over there we go just got a little bit of some data there so yeah I gotta get up that rubber and take that West we're going on we want to be close to this thing if it's going to do a tornado we want to be really close we want to be super far away thank you look at the cows we got cows gopro's up we got cows everybody might be like a little nipple funnel coming down there it's got to be a funnel right let's go let's go a little West I think we got a funnel there maybe what is that trying to come down there it's got such a nice funnel shape to it it makes me think that that is trying to come down there oh I think it could be I might have a funnel there yeah it's very high base at the moment we're gonna get up there see what it's got clearly this thing is trying to do things right now but that to me looks like a funnel we're gonna move in for intercept this thing plants we're gonna get up here look how smooth it is sad I don't even have my camera up what am I doing I'll swipers a little bit yeah that area right there really really suspicious foreign look at it come down there it's a little rope all right we got a funnel cloud here South east of Sterling Colorado funnel coming down watch these intersections here all right it's kind of let me enter your way down to that road okay okay bad Road down it's up there pretty high at the moment but we're gonna see this thing could come down it's getting bigger thank you Rob the PIN so I can get my directions still going and I can't tell if it's it keeps it might still be in there it's getting stronger rotation on radar all right we're gonna go a little bit South here I think it 'll try again close to the circulation so yeah we did have a funnel there Southeast southeast of Sterling Colorado you can't tell if it's still there I'm not facing there at the moment rotation's picking up on radar back over here so we're gonna head a little bit further west and see if it tries to plant I have to come back this road back down this road here if it ends up there's clearly like there's a clear slot and stuff up there [Music] definitely rotating on the radar over here too some kale coming down all right I might just stop here for a second foreign still have something like a funnel in there I don't I'll see at the moment no have a funnel anymore dude that was a long live funnel um I don't see it anymore though was there another one here I didn't see that one but I did I'm wondering I'm looking at radar it definitely has the rotation back over here no I did not see that we're seeing that you can see oh I do see that so I don't know what to do next honestly like keep going to that Highway yeah I mean we're in a great spot here if it starts to come down I mean that road wasn't too bad either though so we can take that back if we need to more but for sure yeah well I was questioning it but it was so persistent I was like okay it's Gotta Be and then and then it came out as almost like an elephant trunk cone thing like right you know you never know when that's just gonna consolidate and plant all the way down to the ground total and we haven't seen them all right for sure so this thing might just keep going there's nothing ahead of it it's going to keep going because we just posted inside tornado most intense storm
