hey everybody heather from hooked on pick in we are here live for your question and answer time we're also going to be finishing this first pallet that we got from our next truckload um so we bought seven pallets again from 888 lots and so we're gonna be finishing this first truckload palette um it's basically split up into a couple of different videos uh just simply because it was so massive and had so many items in it and so paul is here also you want to say hi hello everyone um and so he's going to come over we got our chairs kind of sitting next to the pallets so that we can just reach in and find some fun things but this q a is also for you guys so we definitely want you to shout out tell us where you're from tell us um what kind of reselling you do and then we will answer any sing the song going on a bear hunt yep the most terrifying thing about we were talking to a guy that was booking the tour he says if you miss your shot there's a chance the bear will try to come up uh in your tree stand come up up the tree and eat you and we thought yeah i don't think we're gonna do that you don't run fast enough or climb fast enough this is cool this is a coloring planner but i thought maybe that oh we could just gotta order from shopify somebody just bought something um and so but look you can put the numbers in it's not specific per year and then you can color it that's beautiful my friend tanya would love this thing yeah she wouldn't she would she likes that stuff she's she's an old school carry around an actual planner binder dealer this palette has just had so much so much in it uh i think what's going to happen is this one is going to have like 3000 and the next palette feels like it has hardly nothing in it yeah but then all the other pallets we bought a load of seven pallets everything else feels heavy when i pick it up with a pallet jack except for one i know the damaged so this was a new pallet yeah and we bought three new pallets and then we have ones that are considered box damage and i found out exactly what that means on 888 lots because i actually spoke to someone about it they said basically box damaged is it was at the amazon warehouse and the corner gets crushed or it gets dropped on the floor but the contents are still supposed to be fully intact so the box has wear or a tear in it or something like that but the contents are supposed to still be brand new unused never been seen by a customer and that's what's supposed to be in the box damage stuff and so it's going to be a lot of onesies you like this palette had a lot like tons of all laundry detergent tons of batteries tons of refrigerator filters tons of you know multiples of everything and so the next uh if we get one of the box damage ones which i don't know which ones are which we're just being surprised as we open them uh we'll be it'll be like everything is individual so those will be probably a lot more fire sale items less unhooked on picking just simply because we try to put on hooked on pick and things that we feel like need more information like the refrigerator filters we're like well you kind of want to look that up and not buy it on the fly on a fire sale you want to know is it for my kenmore make and model you know that kind of thing um and then uh but like we had tons of all detergents so we put all all on there we had tons of uh bingo daubers so we put them all on we got a boat whistle i think you've sort of seen that video it's already sold out yeah we had six of them boom they sold out where i'm hoping for 12 hours to find have a video tutorial on getting started and selling so i do make one yeah i'm actually probably in the process of making one now that i'm done now that i've done the work for this webinar i think i'm gonna start putting together some beginner programs um to make available to you guys well you can start pulling stuff out while i'm talking i guess if you want um so burp a bib so um i don't have a program right now i do have a poshmark reselling book that steps you through if you're a beginner on poshmark i do have some reseller checklist cards so things if you're looking in the store or looking online for things these are the things that i would say make sure that these things are the qualities in this product so that you can resell it and then um i do have uh consultation phone calls as the biggie that i would suggest so you can get a consultation phone call from me and i talk for a half hour and you see how quickly i talk um so that you can get the information you need and i walk you through anything you need walk through and then i also send with that consultation phone call a block of tutorial videos that i've done in the past that help you kind of walk you through various different platforms depending on what you need you know a lot of times if you're not an ebayer then you know you just disregard the ebay ones but it's it's a bunch a bunch of videos so and a huge huge value so i would suggest maybe doing the consultation phone calls if that's something you're interested in and i can walk you through what your specific personalized needs are so let's see then the other two says i have a problem with amazon it's a question for you heather they have a a wrong the wrong account number and i have not received a payment from them for any of the items i've sold it says i have contacted them by the account help and i haven't gotten anywhere with them is there a phone number that i can reach a person at wouldn't that be wonderful oh man that sounds awful um the only thing i can suggest is um i would almost since the wrong account number so my question to you is which account number is wrong is it the wrong bank account number or is it the wrong amazon account number and because if it's the wrong bank account number i would definitely um see if you can't like stop selling i mean this sounds horrible but stop selling some of your items because you don't want it to go to the wrong person um and so check and see if they don't have the wrong direct deposit routing number bank account number for your deposits because that may be also when you first start on amazon you have to have over 200 positive money before you get any kind of deposit and so that may be it as well so i'm gonna get the camera closer okay so um that may be part of the issue as well so you have to have over 200 in sales positive sales and anytime you send something in it pulls it deducts from that or if you have a return it deducts from that and so if you're not real real close uh with that then are you just going to take it off and yep do that do you want me to hold your phone so that no no i can uh pull up the questions this way okay all right all right okay um let's see going back because i know we kind of interrupted uh this then the other two's questions um we have had a hard time with customer service on amazon let's just be frank they're not for the seller yeah they're they're not really good at it but uh i know that heather has had situations where she calls she gets nowhere with one person she calls two hours later you're going to get a different person every time and all of a sudden that person knows what they're talking about knows what they're talking about um i have found probably the best communication is over email because then you can explain your situation um but i would definitely investigate is it your bank account number is it your routing number is it your actual amazon account number and um check two to make sure that it's not being limited because of the amount of money that you actually have as far as a deposit and it happens every two weeks when you get your deposit um so i would check into those things so here was the watch that we pulled out a second ago there it is looks like a cool watch so the was it a coloring book or that was a uh it's a coloring planner coloring planner very cool spongebob probably not real expensive those little cups are fairly cheap not bad most of the stuff we get we've been pulling out are things that people use daily they just uh aren't uh aren't like huge high dollar amount besides maybe that watch these are the juggling balls even gives you an online video to learn that would be cool be a great stocking stuffer let me try to pull up some questions here so i uh michelle reminds us we were just talking you guys just remember when we did the candy palette yes or just a pack full of candy but they are a lot of work it was 2 000 pieces of candy or more or more i think that that is cool that is cool what kind of the metal is that there i don't know is it stainless steel i'm sure it's stainless steel but it looks like it looks like a is it like a cheese cutting set multiples of one item they go on hooked on picking yes that you send to fba do you package them and wrap them all together or separately separately yeah you have to you have to package each one has an individual barcode so here's some more of those planner um inserts yep if you don't alex and you only have one barcode on them and somebody buys that one item they'll show you the one thing amazon is so crazy nuts busy they'll just ship that one item anybody need a transmission oil cooler it's important to have really you know buy a spare even if you don't need it right you know everybody needs one of these let's see here calvin says the good thing about a video tutorial would be able we would be able to go back over the video so you won't make a mistake that may cost you money yeah that would be a good investment to have for the beginner thank you i think i'm probably going to put together some programs now that i know how to do fancy schmancy stuff yep doing this webinar i think has really given you uh it's been a learning curve for me because i've never really done anything like this so um we'll we'll definitely be putting out some more uh reseller info to help you guys patty a company called amazon amazon scout and they do a chrome extension that i use regularly for my business um and so it's something that they put together like they basically do a webinar once a week to put out information for free for all for all of their subscribers and new subscribers to basically learn how to do reselling in different aspects so um like i watched one the other day they did a whole like a lady talked the whole time about drop shipping and then there was another guy that talked the whole time about um how to get wholesalers and how to find the right products and so stuff like that so they just kind of reach out to experts that are in the reselling space and have them talk about what they do um more in depth and then they offer a deal that goes with some of the things that we offer and then also what the the company offers so yeah so this is these are nylon you want to explain what these are this i'm still slightly confused i found these on amazon i thought they the merchant fulfilled guy was selling his for 99 and that's because amazon only keeps a few of these in stock or it's hard for people to send these in because how are you going to find brand new of these games because it's a playstation 2 game so then when i looked them up on ebay almost every one of them on ebay was over a hundred dollars selling so in brand new condition now even the used conditions we're buying them for well 20 or 30. okay and that's rare so here we got a whole bunch of these so probably what happened is some stores said we're done with this you know and they you know they threw them in a liquidation because they're a playstation 2 game but uh we're excited we'll see if they sell we'll make lots of money every one that i saw on ebay did sell so here let me show you fee just do selling platforms that may take a percentage of the money that it sells for so um in order to list on poshmark in order to list on makari it's totally free now they don't get as much traction as the other ones but they're free and they don't take any money until you actually sell it mccarty is actually the cheapest fee it's only 10 yep ebay i think it costs you like anywhere from 25 cents to a dollar to list the item so that would be your only investment really so i would suggest those platforms first don't do anything with a monthly fee sheila says hello finally made it to a late um has not been happening with my ups um but now uh i put a link out on a thread i'm part of a private group and i was like hey anybody else having these issues and a lot of people are having the issue with the united states post office so i don't know if it's just where we've hit fourth quarter we have a funky i have a funky theory i think that because the election is so close that they are probably shifting resources to make sure they get all these ballots done correctly and not and not focusing on the packages right it's also you got a couple that with the fact that it's fourth quarter and a lot of people are ordering a lot more and so i talked to my actual postal carrier and he said he pretty much uh his package load has doubled in size in the last two weeks and so he's picking up that many more packages and it's not just because of me he said across the board all of his people are ordering more and they're shipping more so um and so that could be a combination of everything it all of our package of finally will arrive but if it says you know your package should arrive on thursday it doesn't get to them till maybe even monday saturday sometimes even on monday it's like they're off by two days three days sometimes so i would definitely um just if the customer communicates with you just tell them to contact the post office because there's not really anything you can do about it until it's back in your hands like i actually had one um get returned to me twice and so i'll be reaching out to that customer saying hey we're going to try to reship this and figure out what's going on because for whatever reason it doesn't like their address so um but yeah so we have been seeing that across the board let's see here um as far as the palette goes i don't see anything that's new in the palette and so we you've we've kind of seen with in all the unboxings and you'll see that the second and third or third and fourth yeah however yep let's see here um on saturday and sunday i'm gonna look for any questions okay and then we'll let me quick get to work today we gotta get to work i know we've been over an hour let's see uh jeanette francis murrow says five dollars christmas because they get a lot at christmas time and sometimes your regular post office guy will take a vacation during christmas and their substitute will get their gift so make sure you hand it to your usual guy layla says are you able to send in to amazon now um we can send a few things in i maxed out my i didn't realize this was possible but i actually maxed out my um quantity at amazon i
