- So we just had a-- sounds like a pretty
serious car crash come in. Single car off the roadway
into boats, I guess, crashed into some boats. Traffic 5, I'm out. - All right, grab something
to break the window. - Hey, my man, can you hear me? You can hear me? [police sirens] - I don't want to move him. All right, hold up. Hold up. Just sit tight, all right? You're all right. You're all right. Just sit tight. Just stay right where you are. I'm just hanging on to you, OK? They just want to make sure
you don't have any sort of neck injury, all right? Just sit still, buddy. I got you.
I got you. I got you. - Stay right there, my man. - Hold on. Stay right there, buddy. Stay right there. You can't get out
that side, my man. You're right up
against a boat, OK? Just sit tight. He is belted in still. Good job. Good job. Listen, they're going to
cut the roof off your car. I don't want you to get
glass in your face, OK? - Stop, stop. Relax, my man. We are helping you, all right? - You wrecked your car into
about five parked boats, all right? Your car is totaled, and
you are stuck inside of it. You hear me? We're getting you out. [drilling] Hold on.
Hold on. Almost done. Almost done. - Look toward your right. Look toward your right. - I can't. I can't move! - Bro, we're almost done. We're almost done. [drilling] - Stop! Stop! - All right, relax.
Relax. Relax. [drilling] - Sit still. - You can breathe. Sit still. Stop fighting us. You're going to be out
of here in two seconds. - All right, take a breath. Take a breath. Relax. - Keep your head over here. - Keep your head to me. - The roof is being moved
right next to your head. - Get off of me! - All right, relax.
Relax. - Get off of me! - You've got a convertible now.
Relax. Relax.
Relax. - Stop! Stop! Stop! - All right, relax. Relax now. - All right, relax.
Relax. We're pulling you out. - Relax. Relax. Relax. - All right, we got the board. - All right, we had to extract
the male, jaws of life. He's conscience and alert. He's going to be going
to Rhode Island Hospital. I believe Officer Bailey
is going to follow. Hey, what's going on? - Tell me. - He mounts the curbs
here and right here. You can see it. He goes right in between. Be careful. This might be live, because
it's laying on that wire. So we're not sure. - That's definitely live.
- Right. So no one [bleep] around and,
like, lean on that thing, touch it, whatever. He comes flying up here. Obviously, you can see, he
goes on the inside of the pole, hits about-- I don't know if he hits the
Maxim first of that batch tracker. But that thing's tossed. Comes to a rest there. They had to cut the hood off. No one saw it. We have a guy at
the house up here. We're getting a written
statement on him. He said he heard a loud
revving of the engine, and then just a
crash, no braking. This gentleman was the first
one to come around and see it. So we've gotten a
written statement on him, even though he didn't see
it actually take place. It doesn't appear there's
any sort of braking involved. It looks like he just
kind of went off the road. We're probably going to
have to do a reconstruction on this crash to determine
what exactly happened.
