obviously a quality video with a simple narrative and some awesome visuals.
minor gripe: i thought the cut at 4:23 didn't quite work when she was closing the door and then walks through an open doorway. i thought those last few shots could have been drawn out a little more, even if the music was still peaking; because the change of atmosphere with the music was so sudden that it seemed a tiny bit cheesy.
Other than that though it really took me a journey and the changes of perspective on the building with the boat and all was really cool especially :)
I thought it was great. One of the opening shots reminded me of a shot from Panic Room, not sure if you were going for that, but I loved it.
Sigh. Lindsey's an awesome musician but the "whimsically stare into nothing" schtick is really getting old.
Reminds me a lot of the Labyrinth in the sense that everything Sarah goes through in that movie is based on her fantasies from the objects she keeps in her room. The Escher painting influences the finale, her stuff animals mimic the characters she meets and so on.
I like the part where she's running up the building, reminded me of Canabalt. Kudos to you for no three point landing before the rowboat.
I keep seeing exclusive videos for the Youtube Music Awards the past couple weeks. Are these budgets coming from Youtube or the record labels?
