LIFE UPDATE

yes should i put my little hair back your hair is great okay okay part of our update hey guys what's up welcome back to our channel i'm aika and this is dimitri and today i feel like we should just sit down and talk to the people and give them an update of what we've been up to where we've been the last video that they saw was pretty much me telling them that i'm leaving my job stuff so we're here to just give you guys an update on what we've been up to and um what actually happened with et canada like um you know how that played out how that played out yeah so um i guess we could start with e.t since that was the last video yeah i think so right and then we could okay so with et canada um i did submit an invoice for um all the things that they never paid me for over the last three years and they did pay it they did they honored it and i i think it's good that like you know we let people know yeah to be transparent i mean i did put a video out i'm telling you guys why i left i want to be transparent as well that they did um they did honor it yeah and also they hired a third party um diversity and inclusion team to come in and kind of help their culture right clean things up a little clean things up a little bit so i guess that's what's happening with them good for them hopefully things change for the people who are going to work there and the people who are still working there i won't return but if they're making these changes it makes me at least feel good that nobody will go through what i had to go through right you know so yeah i feel like you can feel pretty good that you've caused some change i think a lot of people like kind of followed your lead and a lot of stories came out after yeah and like you know whether it was you know all these different networks or even like you know completely unrelated industries a lot of people i think yeah you guys so many people came out and started talking about their experience um working you know in the media or even just like at the workplace right like so many people and um i got a lot of support so thank you guys so much um for like just the people who supported me like the people who watched the video and shared it and other people in the industry really stepped up and supported me i was not expecting that uh it was guys it was so scary i was so scared i was like you know like when you speak out on stuff like that like who's gonna work with you ever again like it was definitely a hard time but i think one thing that you guys might not know about aika and and this is why everyone loves ike including myself one of the reasons one of the many what is he gonna say you know she's so unbelievably true to herself you didn't know what was gonna come of that whether you would have like never got another job in in you know tv industry ever again whether you know you would have got you know uh reimbursed for all that that pay that you missed out on years before you didn't know what was gonna happen you just knew that you had to say something or else it was gonna just eat you alive for the rest of your life so that's super admirable because it's really hard to just step into that a lot of people uh can't do that and myself included uh and that's why i look up to you and i think a lot of other people look up to you for those reasons it's a very difficult thing to do and i don't know i i try to be more like you but that's enough about my rant you know what it i don't know for me it's actually more difficult not being true to myself because i will lose sleep over it now when we get to like decision making moments she's like what should i do and i'm like do yeah whatever is in your gut even sometimes when it's like it might not be good for either of us and i'm just like you know what if it feels right to you yeah let's do it what have we been up to honestly we haven't really been up to much dimitri's still doing real estate still dragging me to ugly houses i don't want to see it's what we do he's actually gotten worse that's what we do you know what i've come to the realization that we should probably just buy the ugliest house we can find so that way we can put money into it and fix it up and just create value in the property versus buying something that's nice and it's already expensive you know we can we can buy something ugly and turn it into something i like nice expensive things i'm okay with baby trust me when i'm done with this place it's gonna be nice and expensive but until then it's gonna be an absolute dump no and that's that that's what he means see he's still the same you guys literally we have not changed at all because we haven't done youtube in so long i keep looking into the like what do you call that thing that's okay the display the display nobody can tell we're sitting firing like i am like can they tell i'm like looking over here looking over here like i love the comments look into the lens it's more engaging it's like oh my goodness are you not engaged because i'm looking two inches left for the lens you got a new lens that you just got a new lens that you're seeing we haven't really figured it out yet but hopefully it's really big and like crisp so hopefully we can be like pros yeah like you got braids i got twists twists they're twist honey they're a little old they're a little old but i like those i like them too yeah you know what i like about them too what we can get out of here and like it's easy ten minutes because i'm not like you know trying to fix those versus like the whole why do we always end up talking about hair on this yeah you're right we do i like them i like them too i think i might wear this for a little bit for you know like just give my hair you know what i don't like about them what don't you like about them i don't like that everywhere we go there's some guy who's trying to pick you up here i got i got cuter with the braids i think you know he said yes i leave her for two seconds i'm over here looking at this and all of a sudden there's some duties like hey how you doing where's your man i'm just hey i was of just over there i feel like there's more new things with you and i'm just here like you know i'm just being supportive just being supportive just selling houses houses oh my gosh i was like damn listen i'm not going to be having a check for a little bit so go sell some houses honey so i left him alone i had to go i went in overdrive because what happened was i left et which wasn't all to pay anyway but also um because you know everything i wasn't getting as much work as i used to so then i was just like oh dimitri go make some money yep and you can support the cause you know great constructions available resale condos homes no but we're fine what else is there baby potential trip to alberta yeah so he has to visit some family there so we might have to go right um and if we do we'll take you guys with us they could meet dimitri oh he has a cousin and his name is also dimitri and we usually stay with him and alberta so they could meet dimitri yeah they can mean do we treat him the other dimitri two well he's number one and you're number two actually he's number two and i'm number three they're all named what is up with greek people in the name dimitri i don't know the greek people they couldn't come up they got they got like six names like we got dimitri george costa stavros that's about it yani that's it like that and they all just recycle the same names over and over again i'm looking forward to putting out some really fun content you know what i mean i feel like it's been can you guys tell them a little drain today i've been drained for the past you know a month and a bit i think for the past few weeks you know what maybe we should do some sort of a video on your hair i like the hair videos what kind of hair and then we could follow it up with a food video maybe a food challenge video this is not a food or hair channel babe it's really not and what would we do with the hair like what would you do with the hair because you're not attempting to do this period give me one no just one no just give me one no i also still have my channel i just don't know what to put on my channel you guys help her out can you guys just help me let me know in the comment section what to do with my channel also dimitri and i will be doing our first first first youtube live we've been trying to figure it out we're going to say it right here so that we hold ourselves accountable when are we doing that youtube live next saturday next saturday cause we have to let them know let's do it friday friday okay we'll do a friday friday evening friday evening what time 8 p.m eastern okay don't say that because we're not sure we will leave it and start pulling ourselves away no i'm scared now okay so at 8 pm on friday we'll do a youtube live the youtube live it's our very first one but but i want daylight i feel like at night it might be too dark but i feel like you know at night people are like maybe like you know they're either winding down or they're getting ready to turn up at pm they're you're making that decision and either way you could just grab a soda or a soda you know a pop pop have a seat and get either amped up for your turnip or you know get ready to wind down let us know what day you'd prefer for us to do our very first youtube i'm actually so like excited for this this is good this is some big things hit us in the comment section let us know what you guys have been up to let us know if if you antagonize me more than you think you do i just don't let you believe it as the mutant agonizes me more i feel like we should do like a montage of like i'm sorry sorry update we're back but we didn't really leave i'm not joking as soon as like summer hits i go three foundation shades darker the hunt for the foundation shades oh my god you guys if you guys have a whole other struggle it's a struggle like i've been struggling now to find like the proper foundation color if you guys want to know what i'm using you know your girl will let you know it does work work work work work work guys our battery died so as you can see not much has changed oh you might think of us like us like batteries i thought you meant like the market i was like wait did maybe this wait did the lighting change
