1) yes
2) also fuck vice b/c and this reporter specifically because they knew she was going to say that and this was a set up
3) to be clear, Blair said that nonbinary people "are on youtube and they don't represent the views of most trans people." Um, you know who else is very prominent on Youtube and does not represent the views of most trans people?
Blaire: dysphoria is the defining characteristic of being considered trans and trans people deserve support
Also Blaire: pEoPle WiTh DySPhorIa tHat DoNt paSs to mE aRe OnE of The 76 GenDers
Not everyone has the privilege and financial access to transition how Blaire did, besides the fact that not everyone wants to.
Also, canβt remember if itβs in part 1 or 2 of this video but she says that there is βa very fine lineβ separating who she considers transgender and non binary... definitely donβt think she realizes what the term actually means based on the context she used it in.
I feel like the character (forgot their name) who was talking to Baltimore was based off Blaire a lot.
Am I the only one who finds these sort of videos/channels annoying? I feel like I am always being suggested these sort of videos. There's the whole and very obvious "both sides-isms" of them, as though just because there are two sides to something they are both equally valid (to quote Saul from Debating the Alt-Right). But also, they just feel like unintelligent infotainment. These are videos like, "Guess whether a stranger has had plastic surgery," "Guess a stranger's sexual orientation," "Six Christians and one secret Atheist," "Six vegans and one secret meat eater," etc. I thought BuzzFeed videos were annoying clickbait, but these are somehow even worse. Honestly, your braincells are probably better off from you just watching something that is pure entertainment/fiction than these sorts of uninspired, uncreative infotainment videos.
Or this genre of videos, even when they're not platforming really bad ideas, just feel forced, and like they're trying so hard to be epic about it, instead of just letting people have a natural, conversational discussion about a topic.
It's not only relevant to Natalie's latest video, I'm quite certain that the video was largely inspired by Blaire and potentially this interview which aired a couple of weeks ago on television.
In my view Tiffany Tumbles has always been a pretty clear parody of Blaire White, also in previous videos
