200g lentils (1 cup). Cook the lentils until tender, about 20 minutes. 1 savoy cabbage. Soak savoy cabbage leaves in hot water for 10 minutes. 2 tomatoes. 50 g carrot (1.8 oz or ¼ cup grated). 100g walnuts (3.5 oz). 1 tsp salt. 1 teaspoon sweet paprika. 1 tsp caraway. 1 tbsp ketchup. Black pepper. 1/2 onion. Olive oil. Brown the onions only slightly; you don't want them to get too dark. 1 red pepper. Fry the red pepper with the onion for about 3-5 minutes. 400 ml pureed tomatoes (1 2/3 cups). 250 ml water (1 cup). 1 cube of homemade vegetable broth. 1 tsp salt. 1 tsp sugar. Black pepper.
