LEGOLAND California ATTRACTION GUIDE - 2024 - All Rides & Shows

hello there I'm Mike and welcome to theme park 101 today we'll be taking a look at all the rides shows and attractions found at Legoland California for 2024 the resort is located in carlbad California which is about 30 minutes north of San Diego and about an hour south of Anaheim the resort also features two on Resort Hotels a sea life center and a connected Water Park stick around until the end of the video for my hot tips for visiting the park as well as finding the best place to buy tickets as you walk between the two resort hotels and head through the turn Stars into the park you will go straight into the appropriately named land the beginning here is where you can find the big shop the main merchandise location that is the perfect place to grab a park exclusive Lego set or souvenir at the end of your day you can also find some dining locations and the main customer services building as well as the beginning stage which currently hosts DJ brick beats who plays fun techn tunes that will certainly put a spring in your step as with all my guides I will head clockwise around the park which takes us to the brand new land Dino Valley this was previously known as Explorer's Island but the land and attractions were rethem to the new dinosaur theme for the 2024 season first up is costasur the awesome steel Junior coastar that takes you through a prehistoric jungal filled with lots of Lego dinosaurs with plenty of dips and turns this is a great coaster for all all the family to enjoy the former Safari track is now Duplo little Dino Trail a mini Jeep ride where you will go on an adventure to look for the cutest Duplo Dino follow the clues along the journey and don't forget to get a picture of her using the vehicle's camera at the dino Outpost younger visitors can enjoy playing in the sand and uncovering dinosaur bones and forgotten fuzil and create their very own Lego dyo Creations in the special build and play area the final attraction in the new dino Valley is Explorer River Quest an outdoor boat ride that takes you on an adventure through the Deep Jungle you'll need to search for the rarest Lego dinosaur of all but be careful as they are also looking for you along with the reemed attractions Dino Valley also includes some new Lego Dino meet and greets and lots of amazing lego models of a variety of dinosaurs using over 1.8 million bricks making this a great addition to leg Land California we now head to the next Land The Lego Movie World first up is Queen whatever's Carousel where you can take a spin along with the queen and her special Lego horses and nearby is build whatever you want to build a great place for Junior Master Builders to create whatever they like with the many different crates filled with Lego you can have fun playing on Benny's play ship the outdoor play area themed to everyone's favorite Lego astronaut spaceship you may also spot him with his Dan crew in Benny's dance party at various times throughout the day next you can go behind the scenes in The Lego Movie 2 experience where you can check out an actual Live Movie set and learn about movie making magic in the Lego Sound Stage filled with amazing models as seen in The Lego Movie 2 emt's flying Adventure is the indoor flying motion simulator where guests can join EMT and the Gang on a Triple Decker flying couch that takes you all over the Lego Movie universe and includes an original storyline and unique ride elements throughout the day you can meet EMT and friends and EMT super sweet which gives the perfect opportunity to grab a photo with one of your favorite characters from the Lego movies the final attraction in The Lego Movie World is uni Kitty's disco drop the drop to ride that spins bounces and of course drops into Cloud Cuckoo Land before coming back down to the real world let the kids become grown-ups with all the activities in this next land fun toown first up is driving school where younger Riders can transform into a police officer firefighter taxi driver or a citizen of fun toown and Traverse the many roads on this exciting course it's open to Children between the ages of 6 and 12 and you can even get your very own Legoland driving license in the nearby store and even younger riders that are between 3 and 5 can also join in the fun at the junior Driving School a miniature version of the previous attraction next up is Sky Patrol where you will have the chance to fly your very own Lego helicopter move it from left to right and go up and down on this fun flat ride that is perfect for all aspiring Pilots at the Funtown police and fire academy you will need to take control of a fire truck or police car as you raise to put out the fire or stop a thief in this great competitive team attraction that is fun for all the family opposite is rebuild the world Planet Legoland a place for guests of all ages to build unbuild and re re build the world of their dreams right next door is the Lego factory tour where you can find out lots of interesting things about the history of Lego and how the popular building bricks are made you can travel through time in the adventurers Club a fun walkthrough attraction taking you through the rainforest of the Amazon jungle the tombs of ancient Egypt and even to the icy cold Arctic the next attraction in Funtown is Skipper school where you will have the chance to captain in your own Lego themed boat and test your navigating skills on the calm Waters of the Funtown Lake you can check the fun new stunt show go extreme where you can watch lots of BMX riders scooters and skateboarders flip and saw through the air and even take part by deciding who wins the competition also in fun toown is an area designed for younger guests that includes Duplo play town the larger than life colorful playground the Legoland Express a mini locomotive taking Riders on a relaxing ride around the edge of the land and kid Power Tower where you will need to work hard to hoist up the tower before enjoying a relaxing free fall back to Earth next to fun toown is the Legoland Water Park stick around until the end of the video to see how you can get a great deal on a combo ticket for all the parks at the Legoland California Resort the next land is pirate Shores that shares some attractions with the connected water park which is open seasonally which means some of the rides are too please check the official Legoland California app for more up-to-date information for the dates you are planning to visit first up is Captain Cranky's challenge a pirate ship that can spin in both directions while swaying along the u-shaped track luckily this attraction is not water-based so can be enjoyed throughout the air next is pirate Reef where you can climb aboard one of the two huge pirate ships and battle against each other using the water cannons or join the Buccaneers on The Flume ride that travels between the two ships and the middle of an epic water fight for more watery fun you can head to Splash battle where you will need to navigate through pirate infested waters you will get wet on this attraction as each seat comes with its own water cannon which allows you to shoot at the various targets along the way and non Riders can also take part by using the Cannons that surround the attraction finally the younger guest can enjoy swaby's deck a small wet play area filled with various fountains and other interactive water features also for a limited time you can enjoy pirate Captain swashbuckling J a fun outdoor show that sees pirate captain and his crew on an exciting Adventure sticking with the Water Theme we now head to Lego City a deep sea Adventure you can board a real submarine as you submerge into a huge water tank filled with Lego models and over 2,000 sea creatures including stingrays sharks and even some Lego fish also you'll need to help the captain find some treasure in this interactive Adventure we can now head back to dry land in the next area Castle Hill here you can find an awesome Lego castle great dining locations and some awesome attractions we start with hideaways a fun multi-level outdoor playground that features rope Bridges slides and other fun activities in the center of the land is the Royal joust a simulated joust attraction that will take Riders through a medieval Forest during a royal tournament on your very own Lego horse next is the awesome steel family coaster called the dragon you begin this ride inside the enchanted Lego castle before bursting outside aboard the beautiful green dragon all guests will enjoy this awesome attraction which is also one of the most thrilling rides in the park finally in Castle Hill you can also enjoy the fun show Once Upon a brick join your fun host BAGI and sweeps as they open the magical story book and bring your favorite Lego character to life you can watch the show at various times throughout the day on the castle stage the next area is is the land of Adventure themed in 1920s Egypt you can have a race on June Raiders a set of six side by-side mat slides or try Beetle bounce the jeel junior drop tower ride that will launch Riders into the air before returning back to the land of Adventure kids will love Pharaoh's Revenge the outdoor interactive play area that gives you a chance to climb and explore as well as shooting soft foam balls at your enemies and cargo Ace the flying Adventure ride that gives Young Pilots the chance to sore through the air on one of the eight special Lego planes the final attraction in this area is the lost kingdom Adventure take part in this fun interactive shooting dark ride that will take you through some tombs as you use your lasers against Lego mummies skeletons and other spooky foes this is a great attraction to compete against your family and friends to see who can get the highest score before we head to the final two lands we will first go to the center of the park where you can find mini land you USA filled with lots of amazing replicas of popular American and Californian attractions you'll be able to find San Diego and San Francisco alongside many other popular cities like New York Washington DC and Las Vegas over 20 million bricks were used to create all these models that are filled with so much detail and it's great fun to look for all the hidden Easter eggs throughout this awesome land here you can also take a ride on the coast cruise that takes you around the Central Lake of Legoland California watch out for famous International buildings including the Taj Mahal the London ey the Sydney Opera house as well as scenes from guliver travels if you enjoy boats you can try the Coast Guard Builder boat the special building experience where you can build and raise your very own Lego watercrafts also don't forget to check out the model Shop the main design and building offices for all the US Parks you might be able to see a sneak peek of a new build or see how the master builds repair and restore or existing models finally throughout the year you can watch a variety of different shows on the mini land stage we now move on to the imagination Zone starting with the Lego Technic CoStar an action-packed wild mouse coost that has plenty of sharp turns and drops that will make even the experienced coaster fans happy next is bionical Blaster a teacup style ride where you can choose to spin until you're completely dizzy or take it easy and enjoy the ride you can also find the Lego showplay theater that plays a rotation of awesome 4D films that includes Lego Friends Lego dreams and other popular Lego franchises make sure you check the Legoland California app for all the up-to-date show times opposite the theater you'll be able to find two indoor attractions the first contains three different awesome activities including Lego dreams experience where you can join the Dreamchasers in building Fantastical Lego creations and sending them into the dream world or the nightmare realm Lego City space is the next activity where you will need to travel to a moon base and help create rockets and Rovers in a special mission in the last activity you can help build and program your very own Lego robot in LEGO Mindstorms in the other building is the new popular experience Lego Ferrari build and race as you can probably guess here is where you can build test and race your very own Lego car Creations competing for the fastest time there is also a Duplo car building section for the little ones and even a life-size Lego Ferrari car for a great photo opportunity we now move on to the final land in the park Lego Ninjago world this is home to the awesome Dark Ride attraction Lego Ninjago the ride this is a 3D interactive Dark Ride where you'll be transformed into ninjas and fight against many daring foes with the use of modern motion tracking technology you will only need to use your hands and the ride will track your scores so you can compete against your family and friends or ride again and try to beat your previous scores before riding this attraction there are also a number of different exciting challenges including Cole's rock climb Jay's Lightning drill and others that will help you to prepare to become a ninja Master finally the Little Ninjas can enjoy the Lego Ninjago training camp a fun outdoor playground filled with slides obstacles and even Master woo sailing ship it also includes includ sound and interactive elements as well as some benches for the adults and carers to have a rest to celebrate Legoland California's 25th anniversary there are lots of special activities throughout the park for you to enjoy check out the huge birthday cake Lego model made up of over 200,000 bricks near the entrance of the park and help find the missing cake slices hidden within miniland unique shows by Legoland jam and DJ brick beats will be entertaining guests and this summer a brand new Lego World parade will debut in the park some of the amazing floats include a Lego City fire truck a pirate ship and even one inspired by Lego Ninjago don't miss out on the amazing entertainment arriving this summer at the resort so that wraps up all the ride shows and attractions inside Legoland California my hot tips for visiting the park are definitely to arrive early and head to the new dino Valley or
