Legendary cards for 1 Mana... buffed Aviana is good!?

I did not think this was possible but Sky mother Aviana is actually being played in a real hearthstone deck she did recently get buffed you'll recall and in the wake of the meta shakeup after those Buffs and Nerfs Druid has started to get a little bit of a foothold which kind of impossible cuz of course demon Hunters are absolutely everywhere and dominating The Meta but a dragon Druid Deck has started to rise up and it's running Sky mother Aviana believe it or not and I have this say after playing this number one I had a surprisingly good win rate with Druid um for me at Legend right now I'm at a 65% win rate with this deck that's nice for me but beyond that Avana felt pretty good actually made some big plays offered some great cards sometimes just getting you know one Mana 55es even if they're not great effects or positive synergies is just useful to weave into a curve in a dragon deck that's already curving out really nicely and just creating these high pressure boards turn after turn and then occasionally also you'll get some kind of crazy highroll with cards that just do something really cool so uh Avon impressed me and this deck also felt surprisingly good too it's definitely not as good as stuff like Demon Hunter right now but has carved out a spot and can win some games as you're going to see in this video oo death knight okay so playing stuff definitely a problem for our Reno side of the deck uh maybe I keep the Avana though that could be a cool little wing Edition the welp uh we like the ramp for sure we just need it one Dragon which God knows we have a million of those there's one Dragon perfect um some of these death Knights though are really only running like a tiny bit of uh de does have a lot of Threes so there is a part of me that's thinking about coining the welp because we have a pretty good chance to draw three like take to the sky I mean it's not that many I guess what to do I know we can save coin for for anr or something or even even Aviana I guess this doesn't contest that other than a hero power anyway we did hit a three but not when we'd probably want to play right ways that's okay um yeah I mean we can do Aviana I don't think Aviana would ever give repeat legendaries would she she could I guess I don't know if anything about that wording implies she wouldn't I'm just thinking about the Reno turning off even more we have four duplicates in the deck they're all spells so the Chia Dres help you find them uh I guess not the splish spash welp actually it's it's not that's uh not worries some right now though of course we already played it uh man I feel like I'm having a lot like my opponents are having a lot of like weird lag and stuff maybe this is me lagging I don't know but there's been just a lot of weird little laggy moments today it feels like I'm gonna rip Avana man I think it's cool I don't know I want to play the fun card even if it doesn't win it's fun in theory you know saving it for later makes a lot of sense but this Tempo went out some one Mana 55s if we can it's pretty cool you know so there's a hel that alone does not break the Reno though right we need we need another round of of plagues to break Reno but for now we're chilling yeah this is fine Aviana again that'd be sick oh that's good too not a single um we're not exactly a deck that's trying to push a ton of face damage I don't love this trade but at the same time pushing for five doesn't really Advance our game plan too much I think you know we do have some stuff like spell damage swipes that give us a little bit of bonus lethality and we also it's true that we don't want this game going forever that's for sure true oh my God I just play the Sylvanas bro I I don't know let's do this first I might just play the Sylvanas like I think it's going to be hard for us to get Fancy with it for the record I I I think we just play it might be annoying for the opponent to kill right now it's probably true that there are better targets for her to steal later but at the same time she's just a one Mana 55 I don't I st that I don't really benefit from hero power very much right now so maybe Razer scale is just a little cleaner for now I guess we're going to Greed the Sylvanas a little bit I don't know losing 31 in stats by playing the Razer scale instead losing one armor one damage um but this does have some disruptive value potentially so not and that would be dude that's a great well Sylvanas might be a little awkward for that for the record but pretty good I'd say in general oh my God stop uh so am I crazy Sylvanas is eating the the this is cool she didn't increase in cost cuz she's supposed to cost one so plague made her cost two and then it's checking the razor scale and she's still costing two which is really cool that's kind of fun I think I don't know I like it uh okay yeah this is fine Sylvanas again it's not it's not perfect do we try to ever Greed for the perfect moment hopefully she doesn't die for free behind two taunts but we'll see the 4 five does mean they can trade in the 44 first and then use some kind of removal card to clear her but you know again she's a bonus it's not like we don't need expected results out of our Sylvanas she's free she's just a bonus so I don't think we could be too mad it would be pretty cool to be able to play anr for card draw by the way that would be really sick okay they're killing syan us also this is going to turn off our Reno forever so Reno is dead uh oh they're not actually killing the Sylvanas though they're just softening it up for later going to kill it next turn I guess tier from my class so I have a three that's the nest matron I this is not for my class I think that's going to be sick but probably not quite yet uh matron again and Ry estraza who's also like we said turned off yeah this is not ideal I think I'm going to play this though just cuz it's a 4 five honestly I think we get at least one dude out of it for now I just want to keep the pressure up right like you can't how can you pass up a two Mana 79 kind of thing um they may have the answer I don't know may not too that's that's a good answer but not a crazy good answer it's a lot of healing but we're still sitting on a pretty nice board Stitch Giant's big though I want I want good I want good dudes here give me good dudes oh I got only spells really baral rage swipe wild growth just not good uh I need I need something to play now I think oh this is not bad okay save this Weapon by the way is so good dude this weapon dude it's so good good I told you it's going to be good when I reviewed it I think it's nuts it's so crazy it just it just locks up hero attacks it's healing like it does so much I think it's really good this thing is actually by the way hurting me more than the opponent perhaps I don't know not not really too badly but maybe at least a little bit I don't know so this would be a decent an anr turn maybe just draw um scar I don't think I have any Elementals man it only it only draws four but at the same time like when am I going to get a better chance for that you know I don't hate the idea of just playing Areno to get his hero power online like there's nothing wrong with that but I I think I still want to advance the board more as well and this just potentially gets me a lot of really cool um a lot of really cool cards if I go for a refresh I could just go for the board now right like Play Scar play Dragon Tales into some big stuff try to draw later I mean maybe that's okay we did kind of stretch them a little bit with that Hollow [Music] Hound I don't know this how many is that one two no I'd rather just do this I think I'd rather just do this it's this this can get better later right we have ways to add dragons to hand later we have uh take to the skies and oh we don't have another Dragon tals but also just our natural draws especially if if anr survives we'll have a ton so this could be its own unique reload whereas if I do it right now it's kind of doubling down on on a board that's already potentially pretty threatening on its own this does not draw right this is a what holy spells pendants nature so that would be all oh that's good sadly can I get yog right now to take control of that please please it would be so sick please give me yog to take control of that please Honis I have no idea how to use that I also somehow don't have any guard draw right now that's really frustrating what to do I just I I really do not want to let that live but at the same time what can I do I'm I'm gonna play Reno man I just uh it sucks I could I can push for what 14 16 and just like develop again maybe like Rus RZA even just develop a 99 because this can be a Reload maybe that's better because this doesn't actually have any life gain inherent to it anymore the undead though are annoying but if I play Reno I'm probably hitting face anyway to be honest maybe we just keep developing I don't know this is this is not ideal clearly I don't love this but I think I just need to create a break point maybe maybe oh my God that was quick I don't really necessarily mind that them getting undeads is probably not the end of the world so you know maybe we just have to hope they don't have the right kind of tools swipe is really nice to handle the other two you know the the the the reborn parts of these with taunts so I can just swipe face so like trade in I have great trades oh God huh well that seems like an odd order swipe is very good again here oh my God is double swipe lethal oh my God oh my God oh my God oh my God oh my God I cannot believe it dude we just got there just keeping the pressure on I think that game was trending in a very bad Direction but we just top deck like gods and we created the opportunity right that's the important thing you have to create opportunities for yourself by keeping the pressure just board after board you know the cheap stuff from Aviana we just created the out okay yeah I'm going to keep take to the skies I I've had too many just dead early hands I think the Mulligans in this deck can be kind of risky because you do have a lot of high cost cards and I don't know I just I I think we need one of these to be safe mat's good though uh cuz we're going to have like potentially some good you know early dragons to follow up the matron on on this no chill just building a giant two three already uh okay I mean pinging this kind of Mak sense in a maton cuz it's going to go to four health and if I ping it down to three to two it'll go to three Health which trades into maton but I don't know I'm hoping to actually just hit a spine tail Drake and deal with it that way or they're just going to UNP grasp yeah turn two umpire's grasp is very hard to beat so now I need this Smail Drake to kill the uh the shop lady no spine tail but this is still pretty good turn double matron into Starlight welp is not bad at all just a lot of stats basically to keep up hopefully they don't trade particularly well into the The Window Shopper but it's all right did umpire's grass by the way really need to be six damage like I'm already down to 21 man got me some slack dude uh can I get another Nest maton off these I guess it doesn't really help right away but Al kind of cool in theory another take to the skies all right so this HS here swipe would maybe be solid for you expect a swipe to be good hero power I guess in desperation that's a good bounce I'm the perfect toy for you it's kind of just a reroll I mean it's kind of expensive I I sometimes like saving that for the opponent's cards but they might be properly identifying that's not much of a threat right now Secrets eh two Hunter Secrets boy ice trap would sure be annoying right now oh we actually hit the swipe uh but if I get ice trapped I won't have the Mana to play at all not an ice trap okay uh bait and switch is not a problem freezing trap we'll just play on the maton maybe I think it's worth attacking to to risk losing this right explosive trap kind of annoying too though I guess I don't know is it worth attacking I don't know this guy is like almost free to play so it's like kind of almost worth it but at the same time I don't know maybe not oh it saved my yog and my aana nice okay dragons got welp times two razor scale spine tail Drake razza and five yeah I guess we will take a uh a dragon draw turn here I think it's pretty good H I want to play Blossom but I think ramp's still just better isn't it yeah they gave me kind of a downturn this being a Reno deck instead of a uh fullon aggro shop uh DH is is helping us a little bit I think it's giving me just a bit more time to work um that's a that's that's a lot of damage they're pushing so now we probably go Blossom to stay alive um spine tail is not great at clearing here either let's see what this draws could Avana first I guess that's kind of a cool idea I I hate that that curis is still alive but I mean I'm go to 22 level 22 right Famous Last Words isn't it Famous Last Words isn't it f is really good popar is pretty good I'll live with this do I have any fell spells no I get two though so it's a big heal that's really actually pretty nice very cheap healing that's not too scary I'm I'm fine with this again low pressure sort of turn that's good news also that is actually really nice in ziliax as well we could have a monster heal turn with ziliax and thi also uh popcor could just be a lethal push soon the opponent's down to 13 we've actually pushed them really far oh what did they go for what was that discover a death rattle thought they might build the board any problem Oh wa okay we just take this with yog we're not under like crazy pressure and then I can just go for the you know the life stealer whatever it's nine Mana it's good timing I would say end upon you just steal that Titan dude illusion oh bait oh that's insane he's going to get Rush oh they took reduce oh okay I didn't see I thought they played that guy for zero but that's not because they discovered him that's because they uh they reduced him oh that makes more sense oh he doesn't get rash he's on the right that's okay we'll still trade in here to get some healing GE not I swear I this to get some some trade guaranteed we've been trying to kill this ctress for a while just softening it up I swear I know how these work um yeah this is still great lots of Life gain here the bait I forgot about the bait swis it's so insane that's great thank you yog dude that's so sick this is a big yog play dude big yog play so their hand is really cheap though so let's see what they've got up there another umpires this pretty late this far along that's not too bad we're back up to 28 now which child kind of cool warlock's interesting right we hate Chia Drake but I I do really need to make sure I have a dragon I keep it I guess I don't know this is interesting warlock in a wheel of death is the thing I kind of want to overwhelm them early but warlock's also really good at stabilizing early I think there's probably some Middle Ground there that's better coin welp it's not good based on what we currently see but sometimes it's good we have some three drops that are great you know Starlight welp take to the skies be fine and we can coin a Chia Drake if all else fails malfurion's gift instead um wild growth's okay yeah let's just keep ramping we can play flower child next turn that's nice pants down so I'm I'm at uh 62% win rate with this deck which is not great but not bad particularly for me oh Aviana early I mean maybe we play the flowerchild first here just because it's finaled right now and that's nice it's a little harder finale later but I love the early Avana that's pretty cool actually cheap anr cheap yog okay yog could be really good to steal like a big 155 or something so that's nice anr just generally a good card of course that's fine this is big but not like into the world big is it it's pretty big it's like 12 I don't really love taking 12 uh I could always yog next turn if I have to though or not like you know behold to the yog later so Avana Frost Lotus too could turn into something cool taking 12 potentially so healing 10 does start to look a little more appealing anr could also be used for heal if we get desperate you know hopefully they're just you know I'm a control warlock I'm going to trade a lot and I'm just not dead you know I'm not taking that much like even if the 62 hits into the 55 that's not the end of the world if the 62 hits into the one one I'm very happy I think that's fine we'll take that I can live with this um so we give the yog here like we talked about we could even Nest matron into yog I would maybe steal the 61 I don't know I just don't have an answer to that 155 is the only problem right I I I don't know we might just Frost Lotus here I think I'm going to chill on the frost Lotus here Al we have a taunt we have 10 armor we have F which is admittedly not it's hey wait a minute this is a generated F right because there's no way she'd be this cheap normally uh the Chia Dres just aren't super good yet I mean I guess drawing a spell is somewhat useful cuz I can get some removal for later like swipe for instance might be good it also does increase my chances of getting to Reno as well which is this from being as good it you know yeah they can trade back in whatever but it just sens them up a lot at the end of the day I think we're fine with this even the reduced Mana here is not a disaster since we saw interv but Reno's not ready yet take to the skies could start to activate the Reno though we get gift wrapped welp we do not death Wing oh my god dude I want to play it it attacks all other minions not not just enemy minions right but this is cool uh this is cool take to the skies again can also find Reno I think we still save our inate though don't we I want cheap dragons so I can play them easier yeah py Drake's big but not that good okay big old Deathwing for one dude that's sick I love that we're getting dragons too discounts our next F which needs it um soo's still not active but take to the skies is getting close to guaranteeing it I guess not we got spine tail Starlight razor scale welp and welp so not quite but we'll get there eventually and we still have yog and anr to that are really good I may not need to save this inter Vates there may have been a world where take to thegu was better than the generate your dragons card but for now this is working out just fine I really do want to save that yog for a potential uh phatom or whatever I think that could be really important because otherwise I don't know how to answer that this is siphon Soul that's not too disastrous we had to use that to deal with our one cost card hearth stone Rune no not yet right not yet uh no this is fine for now stay alert my children these Nest Masons have just felt so good yeah we'll play well that's why now Reno's active as well so now we can maybe use yog a little bit more aggressively because Reno is another way for us to potentially answer a big guy they do sometimes have lokan and the natural phum though so sometimes there's two big guys I guess we'll see Saras is another card to steal with yog although we don't have the portal right so maybe this is actually a good Reno because we can just get rid of the portal that way we steal the the sargeras the portal is still there is I believe hagatha the fabled we don't have any spells to cost five or more though um yeah this feels like a good Reno this is totally fine do we ever inate a hero power I mean I guess it depends on which one it is but probably not prob play hag though just uh tempo of 4 fourou pretty cool what all did we get off the the Avana I can't even remember the Deathwing was sick that was pretty cool hagatha not so cool Hearth I mean potentially okay but just not yet like obviously I think we have to play these two before we'd ever play a hearth uh we could probably lose the rest of the hand though without feeling too bad so let's see no wheel for them yet it's good news Reno can do some damage through wheel which is nice Ry estraza might be cool I haven't actually played I've played 16 games of this deck and I haven't played Ry estraza one time not one time most of the time I Drake We're very happy I think this is a bit of a slow return for them though thankfully Aviana is very fun okay I dig it oh my God double welp oh my God so matron matron double welp that's not bad that's a pretty cool turn normally these feel so weak as tutu's whoa opponent's deck is cool ccg dude oh and we got the Drake wow I think we still play double ramp though since the ccg is really not that threatening yet Al um we're just Off to the Races man this is a monster turn dude what a turn four I made what 8 n and another 44 so 123 in stats and um no no not 12 11 seven and four is 11 1113 in stats and ramped two still have a spine tail to follow up oh sure I mean Avana is definitely the play here right do we coin or not coin hero power I mean yeah but we might as well hit this first right I don't mind taking the three I don't think better than than taking more right i' be taking extra I would lose the I would take I guess I'd take three either way huh i' take four it was it was damaged or buffed I mean yeah okay Avana into anr's kind of cool actually I think this just gives us a Reload of a bunch of one cost legendaries potentially dude imprison anti bro I haven't seen that in a hundred years what is happening yeah let's just use this to reload spine tail I think we'll just save honestly I think we'll just save it yeah interat not bad honestly with anr yeah do we ever rip the malfurion's gift here just to get an extra card off an anr that's kind of an interesting question these do I mean it does have a lot of outside sometimes like life gain off the and swipe too probably not but I don't think you'd be crazy to do that for the record because it could be an extra one cost legendary to dump immediately that sort of thing I don't know I don't hate that idea but I think we'll definitely play anr for draw here just hope to get some awesome Aviana cards those are scary thankfully still quite a bit Al life but it is a ton of damage over two turns to be fair especially with this thing popping up although I'm going to have the Avana on board for this thing so this is a little less scary like seven and five on board you know surf finle I haven't excavated bro surf Finley why yeah let's let's draw I don't think heal is necessary I think we want to draw I don't think refresh does enough I mean we do have a really good nomia for the r oh no we don't never mind no no no dormant never mind uh draw cards beauty of a is good Etc F bro I did not get a single one cost legendary except for ETC and he sucks what a garbage roll absolute garbage roll unbelievable so fi is really nice though we love fi we probably like zelc and nelia as well oh my god dude the war glaves this guy's almost dead though is he really going to take another five here almost dead alelia just clears this I mean do we F first to heal though I guess probably to Perfection yeah F can hit this now and still take care of everything um so that's quite a bit of Life G I'm not too worried about being dead or anything we burned one cost you Sarah great perfect yeah nice um no dragons to play prior to fi huh Dragon Tails but I don't know let's not worry about it we can just zero power it's [Music] fine we still have a really really good development here either way I'm not worried it's 16 on a uh behind a taunt you know the wheel this just also presents lethal threats too so yeah I mean uh they need life gain they need removal they need stuff is this really better than nothing oh they're just trying to Outcast that they're getting desperate here skull is very good but does it do enough there's no way right wait yep okay so Avana did nothing she burned a you sah we are winning a lot though man we're climbing a ton with this deck okay we definitely don't need the gifts um against Hunter I mean armor gain's cool it's hard to pass this up when it's in hand early right but I definitely need better early game plays oh double seedling I mean it's a ton of armor gain tap thegu is pretty solid probably coin that honestly just to get some dragons to play on turn three cuz we wait too long we're just going to be too far behind uh so would still not mind seeing you know Splish Splash or GI wrapped welp for sure feel like I've been missing my early game a lot in this deck little uh despite fairly aggressive Mulligans I would say yeah I'm still going to take to the skies I think first is a buffed three or a pair of like welp and welp is better I think than than just a Starlight welp on three cuz there's nothing this is really giving me either that feels very good technically I guess the seedlings are better to get sooner but we have two of them already we don't need that many so's thinking a lot for turn two play big decisions to be made Observer of myths oh is very nasty oh I think we take split Splash instead here nervous about that Observer though that is uh quite spooky a nest matron might be really cool now Nest mat into welp I think I got to start developing stats because of the Observer swipe can deal with an observer as well so there could be an argument to get a Chia Drake down to try to find a gift and maybe even leave behind a spell damage guy for later it's not a crazy idea just don't want too much pressure here thankfully this is not really advantaging on the uh Observer so far oh yeah it is because of this idiot Thorn mantle oh my god oh but I guess that ordering means huh okay I think I remember that from playing playing this that this didn't work and I was disappointed it kind of makes sense but good news for us dude swipe is looking very good Nest matron that's good too yeah we'll do this for sure uh I want to I want to find I want to find that malfurion's gift nice good stuff I don't know if we'll need the spell damage or not but it's kind of good to have in hand in case we do like this is to so that's you know potentially a reason although some of this is going to be trading in presumably so we'll we'll see what we need right something like a zelc coming down too could be a bit of a problem he'd be pretty cheap already right we got seven things on board trimmers that's great for swipe as well this this swipe line call was just beautiful we're going to take a bit of a dome hit here maybe but it's okay this goes in probably oh I see okay I mean sort of the same difference but whatever works too yeah I think I think we just go for the spell damage and just fully clear right I am at thir 13 dude life saving line here though that's for sure I mean it's not saved yet but good start anyway start of a life- saving line we were definitely dead if we didn't do that an anr later is pretty cool with coin could be a full heal but I mean we are going to gain 20 armor as well here potentially very soon I don't think I want to play Both of Frost this is right away uh maybe one and a Starlight welp or something a thigh would be a welcome sight as well in this game because I mean how many dragons have we really played though four maybe probably still a little expensive on the five but at some point we'd love one opponent just hits the one one here probably develops who knows what a 31 and some bananas that wouldn't be so bad I could live with that we're really lucky we hit that malfurion's gift by the way not that likely like we had a lot of other spells you know pendant take to the skies uh not a lot of other but a few other anyway yep there's the [Music] bananas push that to three at least right oh no they killed the two one oh I see that makes sense protect the trade there oh noia is insane though dude oh my God these top decks bro actually insane um could almost do that right but it needs to die to kill this almost we're not going to complain though so yeah this is good we've gotten through a second like little board and now they might have trouble developing another board I'm hoping not to see the thing that gives them Animal Companions because that could give them like a Huffer and a leok right now which kind of a pain to clear and like frost Lotus all at once we do have like frost Lotus into potential like spine tail Drake or something that could be cool there's some lines there s spear is pretty light yeah that's good news Okay soier spear banana is definitely not the end of the world this is a good time to armor up honestly soier spear is like kind of scary to leave alone but matrons that's great even safer nice stay Al uh heal 10 we got fi as well let's go fi here is nuts uh this is just got to be game over right like I just zero cards in hand monster board 24 Health again just all on the back of that swipe decision and luck I mean obviously good decision paired with good luck you know that's play the your out and and hit hit it your outs is the is the combo there soon an anr to heal even more we want although we don't need it by he going to bring us back to full practically yep cool good stabilization man [Music]
