Fan fucking tastic share! Thank you
My apologies for the video and audio occasionally going out of sync, as well as the slight skip at 13:15. For some reason, I ran into a lot of trouble converting, editing, and uploading this video. This is the best I could do under the circumstances.
In any case, this is a rare bit of Zeppelin history. Even though it doesn't go into a ton of depth, it contains footage that had never seen the light of day before, as well as more footage (Supershow and Danish TV special) that was quite rare at the time. I hope you all enjoy it! :)
Page looks so much healthier here than he did about 5-7 years prior.
Way better than that VH1 shit where they donβt even play their actual music. I like how this one went album to album too even if they only hit on the βbiggestβ songs
I remember see this and was astonished to see the Seattle '77 footage. Hope to see the rumored Houston or Pontiac footage as well some day.
Good stuff. Bonham was so reserved at the beginning when Plant introduced him. That would change.
I remember this doc airing. I had actually seen Knebworth 1979 footage previously, so that was not a huge shock. It was the Seattle '77 stuff that really hit me in 1990. Also, MTV played much of Knebworth 1990 in same-day coverage, so we got to see "Wearing and Tearing" within hours of the performance.
My only irritation back then was that is was less than 30 minutes long. I wanted to see more.
That Wearing and Tearing performance!! Love that song.
So this is their 2nd documentary?
