DeMaio and today we're going to learn about vertebrates and invertebrates whoa so let's go have a what what do you want easy now fuzzy little man peach maybe I should ask you the same question what you doing here my fatherís just taking a stroll you know not looking for guano's well you found one here I'm a grown a Greg pleased to make your question what do you want I'm iguana Greg I don't want anything you're the one who was snooping around in my forest you must want something I was just looking for an animal it's a vertebrae calm yourself my little cookie crumb Gary cereal with orange juice instead of milk what we want to go to a sleepover with 28 iguanas no I'm gonna bite you what I love you I don't understand I paint with watercolor you do hey let me show you at this one I call this one good guano Greg and this one I call this one your glow on a Greg and under this one you know what I call this one iguana Greg yes sir thank you sir listen Greg I'd love to sit and talk about your pictures but I heard your vertebrae what exactly does that mean yeah let me show ya just give your old pal iguana Greg a second and draw it out for ya wait a second that's not a vertebrate that's momma bro no Greg come on man tell me what it is for real that's where you see a vertebrate is an animal with a backbone it includes mammals like you fish amphibians birds and even reptiles like your old pal iguana Greg here let me show you this is an x-ray from when I broke my arm walking into a Chili's in 1971 you see that thing going down the center that is my backbone it's what makes me a vertebrate now that I explained my backbone to you you want to come to a sleepover with 28 iguanas no thanks Greg 27 iguanas is my limit yes I understand sir but before you go come and if I ask you one question okay go ahead come on Greg that's not a question I'm gonna bite you whoa whoa I'll slow down but before I go I'm looking for an invertebrate do you think you can help me find one here you go cook a crumb I drew this map on a napkin from a Roy Rogers in 1941 it should lead you directly to the invertebrate you're looking for thanks Greg [Music] this is where iguana Gregg said I would find an invertebrate but I don't even know what an invertebrate is Oh No well if vertebrate is an animal with a backbone that must mean an invertebrate is wait did you guys hear that who said that Hey oh yeah look who it is the macho crab and eek ravage sorry about that kick Randy you kind of snuck up on me oh yeah no worries man yeah that was actually kind of fun yeah hey you're mr. de Mille right yep that's me how did you know yeah I kind of wasn't short with you or a large school of tuna you know I get those smells mixed up what's that supposed to mean yeah you know what just uh it just kind of means uh you smell you smell really bad yeah yeah real nice Randy hey you remember that time I first met you where you taught me about your ecosystem here yeah I remember that well I need some help again do you think you can help me out yeah clean a busy you know mrs. macho crab uh recorded the movie chocolate with Johnny Depp yeah we're supposed to watch that together come on macho we're old pals remember when that chef wanted to cook you and I saved you from the frying pan yeah I kind of order to block that out of my brain but uh okay ask away now we just met an iguana named iguana Greg and he was a vertebrae according to him vertebrates are animals with a backbone but are you a vertebrae no vertebrates here man yeah you see I'm an invertebrate yeah here let me show ya uh here we go just give me a moment to go through some pictures yeah here we go this is an x-ray from when I went to the hospital in 1992 after I thought I swallowed a Lourdes sleeve of Chucky Cheese tokens yeah turns out I didn't but if you do look at my x-ray you will see I do not have a backbone yeah or much of a skeleton at all but I do have an exoskeleton yeah in exoskeleton is a hard outer covering it is found in a group of invertebrates called arthropods this group includes insects spiders eeeh and even lobsters in fact most invertebrates are arthropods yeah but you can find other invertebrates out there like sponges sea stars worms jellyfish and mollusks like clams and snails yeah okay now I'm going to pinch you yeah what are you my grandma yes whatever man I'm leaving so that brings us to the end of our video hopefully you guys did you guys hear that come along great [Music]
