that it was punishment for me to not be able to watch it so i'm excited to be back i'm excited to represent our season i could stay lost in this moment forever the last one of the day we were literally children you're 16 years old i get that a lot life was just pretty normal for both of us going to high school living life up until we auditioned for the show i've never felt this way before i can't go home this means everything to me now that we're adults then we can like look back on it it is really interesting what we've been through together the idol prepared me for everything yeah i feel like we saw just about everything somebody looked at me 11 years ago and said hey you can have this in 11 years i would have shook their hand in a heartbeat that's gonna make me cry me too yeah you can't turn on the radio without hearing lauren you can't turn on the tv without seeing lauren you've had a bunch of number ones now how many it's been four now and he's beating me [Applause] [Music] it's amazing how you can speak right to my heart without saying the word you can light up the dark [Music] don't say a thing [Music] all day [Applause] [Music] [Applause] but long you hold me [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] is [Music] when you say nothing [Music] [Applause] [Music] the smile on your face [Music] is [Music] oh [Music] that was just amazing guys we're all touring so much us country people we can't ever get to see each other sing so i was just like enthralled a fan just sitting back listening it was really good to hear y'all lauren elena scotty mccreery looking good ryan i couldn't i couldn't get it off uh so y'all were teenagers when you did this show and now an acm winner and a member of the grand ole opry yes he's very proud of him congratulations and scotty four consecutive number ones crazy current single damn straight thanks for being here one more time ladies thank you to everybody the alumni and all the performers who have been here tonight that will do it for our great idol touching your reunion come on out
