Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
ITT any plans & instrucutions for workbenches (tabletop, apartment-sized, or full versions) can be criticized in the same way most people do here: "You're gonna need a work bench/tools/a workshop to build your work bench..." I think this one is cool and the video showed some cool tools and techniques, too.
It's amazing and beautiful but it leaves out the fact that, well, she needed a workbench to put her workbench on...
Any guesses as to what her "no idea" wood is? At various points in the video I was thinking it could be cherry (except the end grain doesn't look quite right to me), walnut (except it's kind of light, maybe), or mahogany (except the texture doesn't quite look right).
Finished product aside, I really enjoyed seeing her techniques and shortcuts. Now to buy a track saw...
What kind of table saw was she using? It seemed to have some sort of integrated sled system to the side.
Here is another very nice one (two part video):

That is a sweet sushi tray.
Thank you for posting this, it's nice to get ideas for projects. My workbench is in my basement and something in this fashion would be neat to do some work on the deck during the summer. Just need to throw together a nice dutch tool chest and have a legit portable woodworking setup.
Is it just me or do those legs look really very thin at the cross grain ... and ... and ... did i miss something or are those breadboards and dovetails pinned in across the grain?
