Latest and Greatest Power tools of 2019 from Dewalt, Diablo, Makita, Skilsaw, Metabo & more

[Music] we're gonna get a sneak peek at the latest tools gear and equipment coming down the pipeline from the different manufacturers and all of this was made possible from Diablo tools this was a company that I really had no clue about but we're also going to be able to check out their newest cutting technology which pretty much blew me away so what are we waiting for let's just check out all the latest gear and equipment that's gonna be hitting the market in the next 12 months Paul's first time using the battery-powered broom and it pushes back more than you think doesn't it yeah it's got a lot of torque all right hold it up I want to see it runs off to Makita eighteen volt batteries do a battery platform technology actually that's only half the story because you can take the power head off and you can exchange it for their gas power head which means that it's actually a four-stroke gas power head on top of it so if you get into an area where there's noise restrictions or noise pollution as a concern you can put the battery unit on and run all of their tools and attachments and then when you get out into the field and you need more power you can pop the gas powered head on and keep going it's a really cool idea okay so this is a vacuum show mo the water lifts the back go back all right heat again do again there now this one took me by surprise what you're looking at is Diablos framing blade it's really just a 24 to training blade but it's ripping down through I can't tell you how many leg bolts they're cutting with this thing right now this was pretty impressive [Applause] so one of the things I really appreciated was Diablos come up with a complete line of seven and a quarter inch blades that allow you to cut metal way better than a grinder and you're going to see that now plus they don't charge an arm and a leg for these things which tells me that they actually care about the guys that are out there using the tools trying to make a living with it respect to Diablo for doing that man [Applause] thread that up so there's seven important and under wood cutting saws now they're metal cutting blades you can put them on right so we're gonna hit a retail a twenty two box they can go out there and cut in metals and what with the circular saw so they then demonstrated how this Diablo blade to cut stainless all sorts of metals and they did it over and over and over and over and over we're increasing the performance by over 40 times existing blades so we're on the carpet right now [Music] how much does that run little over fast a grand for that water $40 for this one which don't quote me on that because Frankie picked it up from a garage sale and it seems to work just as well as the thousand dollar unit all right guys we're looking at a battery-powered concrete saw and guys I've tested a lot of them and this one happens to be my favorite so Frankie you thought that was a toy didn't you he actually did he thought it was a toy he thought it was for my grandson hunter and I'm like dude that's a concrete saw word and I'm like it's really a good one so you've been testing it this morning not that much yet but yeah all right so what do you think so far all that good bad in between I like to compact I really do is they got any power though well we'll find out I'll show you all right when we talk about the dual wall concrete saw the first thing we want to talk about is the durability a sealed battery pack C electronic components inside the tool it could stand up to the toughest job site conditions because I've seen this in testing so I've seen it where guys are in controlled environments testing it there's no control out like everything else [Music] nice I'll tell you straight up that's the best battery-powered saw I've ever had my hands our there's power there dude it's the best I've ever put my hands on you know I mean and it's nice and compact yeah oh yeah and it's got power [Music] 26 linear feet of 1 inch depth through cured concrete you'll get 96 cross cuts through number 5 rebar with a 9 amp battery pack I wouldn't put my bed on I want to make two cuts right but you know for dude doing is just a small little job or something on your homeowner the ideal it's perfect yeah yeah and it's just it's done it's got the power and his end it's got the water control you know I mean yep keep everything down with water yeah quite the unit I know it doesn't look like much but look at this he's got a steamer he's got a steamer going at it right now and none of these have fogged up how many of you guys and like wore lenses and Adams sweat Anya when this is made by who endtime concerted partners you guys break a Fiskars tool you don't even have to take it to the store we procure you don't take it start you can just take a picture of it yeah yeah so what you do is you call up our customer service department which is located in Madison Wisconsin tell them the issue that you have and in most cases over place the tool you know no questions asked they may ask you to take a picture of it depending on what the issue is but it's pretty simple yes that's why I buy Fiskars I'm these guys haven't been paying these guys don't pay me to say this I just bought a pair of Fiskars just because of that what about the shovels oh is that the same on the shovel yeah lifetime warranty Bullock's I run all over - shut up on the shovel out of shovel you've got to be kidding me a lifetime of I've never heard of that in my entire life I've never heard like a malarkey out of trouble if I run it over with a skid loader I love it I love it long as you bread is that is the most honest thing so in this next clip you're gonna see that Diablo is gonna put their blade up against the Milwaukee blade and cut through to buying whatever twelve filled with leg bolt and then they're gonna leave their old Diablo blade in swap the Milwaukee out and stick a brand new Lennox blade in and then put it against that blade I don't make these things up I just film them and I thought this one was pretty cool but you guys tell me what do you guys think of stuff like this I actually want to hear from you guys good bad in between if I think it's cool maybe you won't maybe you will think it's cool and I don't just watch [Music] [Music] good bet it would light fight for life saver same 7.15 [Music] [Applause] just applies right back but here's something that I think you guys might like 35% last sting just recently I was out splitting wood and I was using my Pfister's hand axe and I came down and of course I hit it perfectly wrong and the vibration went through both my arms so if you guys have ever experienced that this might be something that you might be interested in checking out they've also got a number of different options here they've got a milled face they've got a flat face finish on both of these you can see that right there and then here we've got a masonry hammer or if you're like one of the two Sierra's over here what's the other way across this now masonary masonary or it could be a masonry hammer so what is that you tell oh that is our brand-new carpenter Esau and how big the timmreck anicut works you're gonna happen to have a 14 and a half and 14 and a half inches all right you ready 3 2 1 go [Music] these are 11 and 7/8 TJ eyes so for open-concept homes where you want you know you know your kitchen your living room all in one space and you don't want a big supporting wall in between you're gonna use these TJ eyes do long spans so right now the guys are getting packs of these and they're going to be like a foot long and they're going to trim them down they're gonna break the pack open trim them off one at a time on the flat side you know it's a couple hours where the work to do one room you're going to be able to go through that bundle in about 90 seconds with your carpenter chainsaw so it goes through 14 and a half inches in one go carpentry chainsaw yeah SPT 55 [Music] [Music] 429 yeah MOS s that [Music] Oh kidding cool to the touch right and look how clean that is it's ready you know rework required you're ready to go with this thing so significant pretty route equal is actually launching a commercial line of gear and equipment for contractors which took me by surprise because I'm brand ego equipment for a while and I always considered them to be on par with my commercial equipment even though it was battery-powered it it has always been one of my three favorite pieces of battery-powered equipment and so now when they said hey we're launching a commercial line of equipment I'm like you guys already were so now I'm gonna show you what this equipment is but that doesn't mean I've actually had a chance to really operate it I just want to get you guys familiar with it and maybe I'll have a chance this upcoming season to actually put my hands on it and give it a test which I'm gonna guess if it's anything like their residential equipment it's gonna be pretty phenomenal alright guys one of the things that I want to show you is this commercial line and it's actually got a fan as a backpack but if you look right here one of the things that I want to point out is this backpack doesn't just hook on the back it actually also hooks around the waist the reason that's important is when you actually use one of these hours on end if you don't have that way strap it starts to dig into your lower back so that bottom lace rep is pretty important and if you guys wanted I mean if you guys have ever ran when you know what exactly what I'm talking about now I've never used this system before in my life so we're gonna see how easy it is looks like it just slides right in holy crap alright so watch this why as I hit the button and watch it push backwards this thing delivers a lot of power so the runtime on this you can go up to depending on of course it's going to vary depending on it whether you're using a blower or you can use things like discussed and then you can switch pretty fast and easy format to a weed whip blower and that's those are the three main tools is there any other tools right now they've got great tools come talk alright guys so this is actually a cooling jacket it's actually got a built-in fan and right now it's blowing cold air up my neck and I'm it's poofy because it's actually cooling my entire body right down my sleeves and the battery runs right here and then you got a speed control right here they set the whole thing up alright guys on this next one I get schooled by Sarah Freddie look at the size of this thing 32 inch saw this is insane 16x16 stall shut up tool girl this is the girl that I'm telling to shut all look at her yeah sixteen and a half I'm sweating just in five sixteen sixteen and 5/16 inch blade and I'm sweating I'm sweating just holding this off super sasquatch what do you think Dan I think sarah should actually you know what let's get there to hold it Philip or not it's probably as heavy can you flip it around so we go to feed come on come on Tara I'm gonna walk I'm gonna lock the shoe you got you guys that is the super sasquatch no they're in brain been around forever sasquatch bum Skilsaw sara is the biggest tool that I've ever met I think her wedding registry was at home so it's a battery power chops off around the job site so we've got metal we're gonna be cutting so you can see what we're cutting through I was actually surprised at the power that's delivered if you didn't know it didn't have a cord on it you would think that it was a corded unit it literally had no hesitation in any of this material so I'm here with Nick and we're actually looking out what we call a polar solar cord you got right here reason I want to show you guys this is because if you're from the north like I am and you got to plug your equipment in if you want it to run what makes this cord special so you're gonna be able to get down to 100 105 Celsius or 1 up to 105 down to 60 and so when you're using a cord a lot of times it's a bit cold you're gonna get this it's gonna be hard to deal with it hard to rewind this one's a rubber jacket on here so you're not gonna deal with that at all and it's got light it ends on both in absolute let me know if you got what's those links that come in you can get this to 25 50 and 100 [Music] so we're looking at the Metabo miter saw can you show me the slide rail system a real quick this was quite battery and corded got a stationary slide rail so you can put that all the way back to the wall that's gonna hit now the battery there's your court adopt 45 they actually got the battery on it Supergirl so you're sayin an adapter all of these topo a 14 bullets precip gamer girl due to impact a half-page and a 3/4 They have the Makita version of the 16" beam saw (seen in the thumbnail for this video), yet they never seem to use it even when they need to quickly cut through 20 2x6's. I wonder why...

I could see these steel blade really being used and liked by cyclone fence companies. Especially today when they throw them up on empty lots. And these saws all are battery operated.

Remember when the Piffles used it to rip down the rim board extension and he lost teeth of the blade as it kept being pushed through the screws.
